For years, this AutoZone was my reliable go-to, a place where I consistently found great service and helpful advice. But after today’s experience, I won’t be back. As a woman, I expected a certain level of mutual respect from another woman in this industry. Instead, an associate named Kat made me feel like I didn’t belong in an auto parts store simply because of my gender. She was dismissive and unhelpful, cutting me off before I could even finish my sentence with a sharp, 'We don’t do that; we can’t be held liable.' The irony is that I wasn't asking her to perform a service or touch my vehicle. I simply wanted to confirm if I had correctly located my transmission fluid dipstick so I could check it myself. Her attitude made me feel like an unwelcome interruption to her day. Between her disheveled appearance and unprofessional, untucked uniform, she seemed completely overwhelmed or perhaps just unqualified. It felt as though she turned me away because she didn't actually know the answer herself. It’s disappointing to lose a long-term customer over such a basic lack of professional courtesy

Went in with a battery issue and tony went above and beyond to help me out he's an amazing worker big props to him!

Closing manager in Grey shirt Antonio went above and beyond, helped me out right away and took good care of me. Very determined and professional. I had no idea my old battery had severe corrosion on the positive terminal (due to a poorly installed battery from previous person) when he checked it out which hence my car was throwing weird false codes on my dash of my beloved 2.0T Accord. (I was already stressed and worried due to financial reasons) thinking something far worse was wrong electrically but Antonio gave me peace of mind going out of his way explaining, testing and looking up if I was still covered (which thank the good Lord I was), tightening the new battery’s terminals AND tightening and securing the mount. He really made me feel like a personal family mechanic. Workers like him are why people return. Thank you Antonio.

I needed to get some things handled in order to pass a vehicle inspection for work and Antonio went above and beyond in helping me locate the correct items for my car, installing them, and even gave me additional advice for my vehicle. Female worker Alex refused to help me check my alternator 3 times before doing it . Coming from the other location because their tester was broken. I get if your busy but if i was sent here for specific reason and then being told you cant do it seems like they didn't want to do there job

I had a very lovely experience. A very helpful young man by the name of David he helped me explore parts that would benefit the restoration of my car. I didn’t purchase anything this time but thanks to this helpful I know now what part will be best to restore my car.

I went in to get some assistance purchasing oil and some young man named David was so helpful. He explained what oil was best for my car based on its condition. I may not have bought oil because I can’t do my own oil change but it was nice to know that auto zone employs people who are so patient and helpful. I will be returning just because of this young man.

I got my battery replaced and was assisted by Matthew and Antonio. My battery was super hard to take out and they both worked on it and never complained even as I started feeling bad that we were standing outside for a while. The ladies up front were super awesome too. Shout out to Sam and Faith ! Everyone helped until it was done and I am so grateful.

I went in the morning because my car was giving me trouble and i needed help with some questions that i had regarding my vehicle and the 2 guys that were working had a bad attitude they totally gave me the vibe that they didn’t really wanna help me out. Because of the attitude they were giving me. I will never ever go back to that autozone and it wasn’t even busy at all. I was all stressed out over my car and the 2 employees made it worse by just having a bad attitude. All bad 👎👎👎👎👎

I would like to give a HUGE shout out to Tony, Adrian and Angel at AutoZone Auto Parts in Whittier. After AAA disappointed me with not being able to provide me with a new battery, I had God and angels on my side. Tony and Adrian took care of the installation of my new battery after hearing my frustration of being stranded trying to get home 4 hrs away. Angel held down the fort with customers and that trio right there was amazing and blessed! I just arrived home safely and felt safe. They are what makes customers feel great to walk into and assisted with care and professionalism. Thank you again Tony, Adrian and Angel! You guys are awesome! God bless! This AutoZone does not disappoint!!

Arrived near closing time with a pretty much dead battery just making it to auto zone in time before my car turned off. I was absolutely clueless on what to do. Without hesitation Manuel was extremely helpful from the start he checked the battery removed and even explained what the problem was he went above and beyond providing exceptional customer service. He definitely deserves recognition he saved my night.

I So appreciate this Auto Zone. All my encounters with staff here have been so pleasant and helpful. Tonight tops them all. I pulled up this evening to use their code reader as my check engine light came on. Tony handed me the reader and asked if I knew how to use it. I said yes and then asked for a reminder if my car needs to be on or off. He kindly replied to turn it just before the on button. I went back outside, hooked it up and brought it back in when it was done to learn the results. The lady helping me now read off what it was-something I had heard before yet did not get fully fixed last time I was at the mechanic. I prepared to think of what I would do next. Tony passed by and offered a suggestion on how to look up what was needed more specifically which I appreciated, but the computer didn't list it, although he was able to locate on the screen where it normally would come up. He then said, Do you want to do it yourself? I said Yes! I'm all about learning. He then came to look at the part on my vehicle that I would need to replace, and discovered that one of my battery cords was so incredibly loose that you could lift it right off! Something I would Not want to happen. We headed back in the store to purchase the exact part I would need that came with a lifetime warranty for only $67. I bought it, we went back outside, swapped it out for the old one, and he also kindly tightened down the loose cable to my battery, all while explaining little details I could understand and use for the future maintenance of my vehicle. He said go turn on my vehicle, and Bam! NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT. I was So Grateful and Humbled by his kindness and generosity to share what he knew while empowering me in the process. What. A. Gift. This is something a mechanic charges hundreds of dollars to do! Prayed the Lord to Bless him abundantly for the gift he gave me and Know the Lord Will do just that! I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Came home and shared the praise report with my family and they all rejoiced with me of the goodness of God at work in this true gentleman. Keep living for Jesus, dear Tony. He will bless you always.

On 11/9/24 afternoon, I went to buy new wiper blades for my truck. And Eduardo and Adrian were very helpful and friendly in advising me which ones were the best. They also installed them . Thank you so much.

I went in around 9pm when the sun was down because my headlights had gone out. Not only did they provide excellent customer service in helping me find the light bulb I needed, but a worker their named Tony went above and beyond and helped me change my headlights in the dark. Considering they were close to closing, and they had other customers to help out, I was very grateful for tony and his help. I am definitely coming back if i need anything for my car in the future.
