Miss Amy and Mr Jesse are the best in town, It hard to find a trustworthy mechanic and Jesse is him miss Amy is a wonderful lady and grateful to talk to while Jesse fixes your problems thank you guys for always making it easy.

I’ve brought both my F350 and my Jeep to this shop and couldn’t be happier with the service. They installed a new alternator on my F350 at the best price I could find, and the job was done quickly and professionally. I also brought in my Jeep, thinking it had a more serious issue. I even brought parts with me, but after their Jeep specialist looked it over, they let me know all it needed was an alignment. They could’ve easily charged me for unnecessary work, but they were honest and upfront—that really shows they care about their customers, not just making a buck. Both vehicles were taken care of in a very reasonable timeframe, and the communication was great throughout. Highly recommend this shop for anyone looking for trustworthy and efficient service!

This shop is honest and the prices are fair. I am a returning customer because I trust them. They were upfront and had my car back to me in a timely manner. I have and still would recommend them to others.

Quick friendly service. My car wasn't running. Had it towed in. Car was repaired and returned to me in 24 hours. Very fair price. They are my mechanics from now on.

Great place. They were honest and up front on price. The service was great and fast and they even offered a veteran's discount. The tech that I talked to gave me some advice on future repairs and I took his word for it and ended up getting warranty repairs done at Nissan in the AV, thanks to his timely advice.

The garage automotive repair shop is Dishonest mechanics !!!Don’t go here !!! I took my car here and I told them what the issue was and that I had a oil leaking but I did not tell them I had a inspection done on my car and they have gave me pictures and a full report . But because I moved to tehachapi I couldn’t return to them to get it fix . So since I see all these reviews for the garage auto repair, I don’t think I would have to tell them on how to do there job and I decided to take my car there , they end up changing out my power streeing pump and said it was what leaking and there no too little oil leak and they would have to take thing apart to find the oil leak , and it’s not worth it and then charge me 750 dollars to change something I didn’t ask for or go there for !!!! I wanted to tell them and show them the pictures and report but since they are dishonest and bad mechanics I just paid them and took my car ! Of course on my way driving from there I can smell the oil still burning!! Here are the pictures from a honest mechanic!!!!

My husband and I were traveling and our engine light came on as we were heading over Tehachapi. Calleded them and they took us right in and checked it out. Told us the problem and turned the engine light off let us know what work needed done. A huge shout out to this shop, thank you so much for your help.

I was driving cross country from CA to NY when my car started to overheat going over Tehachapi Pass on a Sunday evening. Bummer! However, the experience turned out to be a blessing as The Garage mechanic not only found the problem (a broken thermostat), but informed me of the source of another issue, as well as make my car perform better so I could safely and efficiently arrive at my destination a few days later. The bill was reasonable and the mechanic was an angel! Thank you to the owner and the wonderful mechanic!

What can I say. These guys are just the nicest and got my car in last night and I just picked it it up all ready to go. I recommend this repair shop fully!

I’m so grateful the owner Todd fit my car in and fixed it . I was getting ready for a long lonely ride and terrified to drive my car . Afraid it wasn’t road worthy . The shop I had been going to couldn’t check my car out for another week or too ! What’s a granny to do ? Find someone else to help ! I called The Garage. Todd so kindly fit my car in . He understood my problem. He fixed my car . It seems I had a couple loose lug nuts . When I would brake my car would skip and shudder terribly ! I thought I bet I need new brakes ! Being a woman I was ready to shell out everything to be safe . He rotated the tires and changed my oil and whatever else is customary . Told me my brakes were fine ! What a relief . Now when I’m driving thru traffic or just on the road I feel safe . Thanks again Todd you are the BEST !!!

I'm just reading in my 2014 diary where this guy, Jim, spent a couple hours or so trying to figure out a puzzling engine overheating problem. He did many tests and really put his mind to it and...it wasn't anything obvious. Turned out to be a worn rad cap! Lol. They charged me 11.95 for the rad cap a zero for labor. To this day, I still have trouble believing it. I loved that place. 😄

Had a replacement engine put in my old 4runner by another local shop, and after months of waiting for it to get done, I got it back and it had no power at all. Took it to The Garage to get a second opinion on why this thing wasn't running right, and they were able to determine the throttle adjustments were all wrong, and the timing was 2 degrees behind top dead center, rather than 10 degrees advanced. Got it back and while its still slow and underpowered, its the proper amount of slow and underpowered for a 150 hp engine in a 4000 lb SUV. They did good work, and were very responsive, keeping me up to date on what was going on with everything. The only downside of this place is really an indication of their quality: because they're probably the best in town, they're pretty booked solid. It took three weeks to get a slot for them to look at my 4runner. I wouldn't hold that against them, they're busy because they do good work.

These guys were awesome! Super friendly staff that go above and beyond! I live 2700 miles away and was treated like a local. They fit me in last minute for both my transmission filters on my Duramax and it's running like brand new! Thanks a million guys!

Very helpful!!! We were traveling from out out of state and started having trouble with our vehicle. Thankfully they were able to fix the issue on the same day. Very nice people and great customer service 👍

I am supper stock about this place and everyone that works there, they are friendly, professional and treat you with the outmost respect. I brought in my truck in after another shop in town basically killed the engine by performing sub-standard service, took it there to get all fluids checked and they did not bother to check the condition of the radiator or it’s fluids even after I informed them that the car was seating for a couple years. Thanks for nothing “All American auto” Long story, long, I brought it to the garage and from the minute I walked in the door, they treated me with the outmost respect, Erin, and Carina, and everyone in the front office, took the time to provide me with multiple quotes and explained the process Loved the end results, you can bet I will not be going to All American Auto and neither should anyone looking for great service, if you are in need of auto repairs go to The Garage in Tehachapi!!!

Great communication regarding the extent of repairs needed, with accurate cost estimates. I appreciate the heads up, no surprises thoughtfulness. The work performed is and always has been excellent. Being older now, I cannot get under the truck anymore to do the simple things, so it is nice having a garage that I can trust to be forthright and perform reliable work at a price that is very reasonable. I was road tripping when my car started breaking down coming up through the mountains, I was guided here after stopping to have my codes read. The staff were incredibly friendly and supportive, especially considering how stressed and freaking out I was. The price was very fair and they were just all around awesome people, I would absolutely recommend this lovely garage!

We recently moved to California and our new home in Tehachapi. Before week 1 was complete we'd been robbed, fought a massive ant invasion in our kitchen and my "check engine" light came on!!! Needless to say I was unhappy and honestly regretting the move. Then after some research we chose to take my car to The Garage. Best decision ever!! Everyone we spoke to from introduction, to diagnose, to repair were wonderful 🙂 When I brought my car in I was informed it would be an all day wait. It was obvious to the owner this was an unwelcome surprise. Instead of ignoring me and sending me to the coffee area, she asked questions. She and the front person, Terri listened with shock and sympathy to my story and then equally shocked me by arranging a ride home!!! Terri volunteered to drive me home and take my car back to the shop. It was an all day repair, but I was kept informed and once again surprised when they said Terri would pick me up and bring me back. Honestly at this point I didn't care how much it cost to repair my car, but again I was pleasantly surprised. The cost was very reasonable. Thank you again. I will never forget what you did for me that day. These 2 women and the staff restored my faith in humanity and the kindness of strangers. I will not take my car anywhere else. I highly reccomend you do the same. I give The Garage not 5 stars, but hundreds ❤🙂

I went here at the recommendation of a friend after having some bad experiences with other mechanics in this town. Very friendly and professional staff. My check engine light was on and they did not charge me to run the code. They identified it as a problem with the catalytic converter. They recommended I have the work done at a shop down in Bakersfield since that shop would be able to do the work at a better price than they could offer. I was quite impressed with their honesty and their referral to an excellent shop in Bakersfield to have my catalytic converter replaced at a reasonable rate. I will be returning to the garage for future service.

We’ve just discovered the Garage this year on a friend’s recommendation and they have not disappointed with their excellent service and great customer care. My 14 year old Rav 4 drove just like new after a tune-up and my dad’s 18 year old truck drove smooth as can be after a trip to the shop. They are highly knowledgeable with all make and models of vehicles and prompt with their service. They have very fair prices and a friendly atmosphere. Would definitely recommend this shop over any in the area.

Great customer service! Receptionist was friendly and extremely helpful with us. This small town mechanic shop was just what we needed when our car unexpectedly broke down during our long road trip and they went above and beyond to get out car fixed and back on the road. Their pricing was reasonable. Definitely recommend them. Thanks for helping us!

Okay those that know me know I never never post anything, but this place of business is the exception. The Garage, the girls and mechanics are amazing, this is the most honest and reliable place to go to, they never steer you wrong. When you walk into this place they make you feel like they have known you forever and so trust worthy. I would highly, highly recommend.

The best shop in town. Sure you can have your fancy valet parking and all that nonsense. These girls know how to run a shop!! And TRUE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I was in a pinch and needed help. They sent a gentleman out, temporarily fixed the issue. And got me to where i needed to go. I WILL NOT go anywhere else... Jen and Erin rock!

Can't say enough about this place! I transport dogs all over the country and had an issue with my alternator this morning near their shop. They understood what I was up against with the heat and rising temperature. Got us in and back on our way with a more then reasonable price. I would recommend them to anyone in need of auto repair. Surprisingly genuine, sincere, and professional service. They encouraged me to bring my car in for a free follow-up to make sure everything was okay after repairs. They were very up-front about the price of parts and labor, and the total cost for all service was very reasonable. I have never had a better experience with an auto shop in my life and will only go here. Highly recommend.
