From NC with the toy hauler and motorcycle, great location for exploring, centrally located. Clean and the scenery, restaurant, hotel, Marina all right there..

Nice views of Lake Powell. Campsites are open and lack shade. Showers require special currency.

The campground was beautiful, peaceful, and clean! The staff was friendly and helpful! The bathrooms and laundry area were clean, as was all the outdoor space. There were many campers there during our visit, but it didn’t feel crowded and we felt like we had the place to ourselves. The sunrise and sunset were some of the most beautiful we’ve seen!

We arrived on November 7th for two nights. We paid $60 per night, and on top of that, $3 for an 8-minute shower — and we were four people. The showers were in terrible condition: dirty, rusty, with broken shower heads or barely any water pressure. Out of seven showers, only three were open, and none of them were clean. The front desk service was indifferent and unprofessional. We asked where we could empty our RV tanks, and they directed us to a dump station that was closed for the season. The staff was unable to tell us where else we could go. We ended up paying $15 at another campground to dump our tanks, only to find out later that the Wahweap sites actually have their own dump stations — something the front desk failed to mention. So we basically paid $15 for nothing. We also wanted to do laundry but got confused because there are two different coin systems — one for the showers and another for the laundry. When we explained the situation, the front desk made no effort to help or exchange the coins, so we lost another $3. We’re on a road trip and this was our fifth stop — by far the worst experience. Very disappointing overall. Fortunately, the natural surroundings were absolutely stunning, which was the only redeeming part of our stay. Definitely a campground to avoid!

We booked this campground in February of 2025. We booked it for a full month for the month of November. We requested a premium pull through site for our 72-ft length total RV and trailer. We had our confirmation and paid a deposit. We even reached out to the campground the week before to confirm our reservation. On our travel day down to the campground we received a call from them telling us that they had closed down their pull through sights for the season and in addition that they only book 14 days. They told us they could not accommodate us other than 14 days even though we booked it for 30 days. We were told that they use an outside booking agent and that the agents wouldn't know about the campground and the rules for a 14-day stay and that when the off-season would be. The staff was rude and very disinterested. We canceled and then found our sweet spot at Roam America campground in page. The cost for a full month was $700. It is a beautiful campground full hookups and gorgeous sites. The views are spectacular and the campground staff are very helpful and friendly. No fire ants!!! The monthly cost for waheep campground would have been $2400 versus the $700.00. I guess everything happens for a reason. Very happy where we are.

Loved it. I did wonder why with the heat and no trees that they don't have picnic table covers. Any thing would be helpful especially on those days when its super windy. Free showers to campers. Just make sure you put three coins in at once!!

We had a no hookups site which was honestly very basic. Picnic tables were splinter city (the RV sites had nice metal ones though). The washrooms had a major bug problem - fruit fly or gnat infestation in all the sinks. The site said every site was reserved but only 4 sites in the loop had people and we were all right beside each other - would have been nice to be slightly spread out. Pretty expensive for a basic site.

Very nice area to camp. Clean, large sites and spread out. Each circle area has its own bathrooms/showers. Great views of the lake and scenery. Make sure to see the rising sun! Very pretty! The campsites are uphill from the convenience store/registration office and the store is uphill from the shore. It’s a good walk.

9/7 & 9/8/25 I camped in my SUV at site 126: $30/night Staff were very helpful for check-in. Campsite was clean & spacious with a great tent pad. Bathrooms were positioned well in each loop making them easy to get to and kept clean. Showers were very clean. Shower was $3 for 8 minutes. Good water pressure. Was able to make the water temp comfortable easily. Tokens required were sold in the laundry room. Security was present and visible. Overall, this is one of the best campgrounds I’ve been to recently.

At the cost of 85 dollars a day, this place sucked! The showers were an extra cost of at least 3.00 per person. The sites are not level and are filled with colonies of army ants. We have always wanted to stay here, but we are over that thought and would recommend others to think twice. Is it worth the fees? For us, no!!!

Great place to stay. Plenty of room for taking the dogs on long walks. Beautiful views, close to Horseshoe Bend and the second largest dam. We definitely loved it here.

We're from Austria in Europe and spent two nights at Wahweap RV & Campground on our trip through the southwestern United States. The campground is located in a beautiful landscape on Lake Powell. It's spacious, very clean, and well-maintained. Full hookup is possible, and the staff is friendly. However, the price of $195 for two nights isn't exactly cheap. This place is highly recommended if you want to visit and experience Antelope Canyon — we highly recommend it. Klaus & Karin

This is a beautiful place with nice views and camp sites. However the booking system needs some work. You can't pick your site went you book and the staff is rude for no reason and not accommodating. We booked two sites at the same time months in advance and requested them to be close to each other when we got there they were far apart in different lots. Even called to confirm and still did not put the sites together when there were several sites empty.

We had a great stay at Wahweap Campground! The facilities are excellent — clean, well-maintained, and spacious. The restrooms and showers were especially impressive: spotless, modern, and regularly cleaned. Showers do require tokens ($2 for 15 minutes), which you can get from the camp store. The camp store itself is well-stocked with everything you might need — from snacks to camping supplies and souvenirs — though prices are on the higher side, so it’s good to plan ahead if you’re on a budget. The campground layout offers a good mix of privacy and beautiful views, especially near Lake Powell. It’s a fantastic location for exploring the area. Overall, highly recommend if you’re looking for a comfortable and scenic camping experience!

price changed from over the phone to when we got there. and staff wasn't very nice. also you have to pay extra for the showers. Besides that its a nice clean place to RV or tent camp the lake was kinda muddy where we went so not the best place for swimming.

It was a nice campsite with many restrooms & fairly close to town. The office did close at 3pm I believe, so finding our camp sight at night was a challenge. I’m glad I called before they closed to find out what the after hours check in process was. You do have to pay to use the showers, which have a time limit of 8 minutes, 2 of those minutes was just warming up the water.

It's all about location, location, location and this is a great spot on Lake Powell. Sites run the gamut from no hookups to full hookups and some double wide sites. A basic camp store and some very nice bathrooms and showers. To me it's $$$$ .

Since traveling for over 7 years now full-time, we learned to look for high quality Camprounds to park Ms. Coach as we as we explore the area with our Escape Pod (Jeep) to share our memories on our social media channels and web site. Wahweap Campground & RV Park is the place to stay. With large pull through sites, full hook ups and if you need bathrooms with showers, they are clean and well maintained. Bonus is the beautiful views of Lake Powell. They have restraunts, a small store and gift shop. Plenty of areas to ride bike or simply hike. Enjoy your stay.

I'm always amazed when I look at campground reviews and see the little things people tick off stars for. This campground is BEAUTIFUL. Page, AZ isn't that large, and this spot puts you right in the middle of all things Page, AZ. The view from any site is insane with Lake Powell just right there. Yes, it'd be cool if they didn't make you buy tokens for the showers (and the showers are pretty bad, clean, but low pressure, not very hot) 3 shower tokens for 8 minutes. BUT I bet it's because this area is so popular during busy season, that not just campers need the shower here. It's also a very beautiful and popular marina location. Laundry is 24/7 which is a plus! The wifi basically only works if you're at the Camp Store/Registration. So hopefully you have 5G or some DVDs handy. I thought the staff were super friendly so I'm not sure what these other reviews are talking about. I loved how spacious each site was and the bathrooms were super nice. Just maybe don't bank on a refreshing shower. 15 minutes from Horseshoe Bend. Lot's of Antelope Canyon tour options (book your tour ahead of time!) and I can't say enough, how beautiful the campground views are, especially at sunset. Beware of stickers and fire ants, they just sort of overpopulate the area, so dogs and toddlers love to go straight for them. Next time we come, we plan on booking a boat tour from the marina!

We loved this campsite and area so much we extended our trip an extra day! Full hookups and a beautiful view. The sites were level and well spaced out. We were in loop A and we’re walking distance to the lake and store. Store was great, if you forgot anything they had you covered. They had standard hours even during the off season. The laundry facilities were an added bonus. We highly recommend to anyone coming to Page!

The campsites in the F-Loop were all well tended, clean and spaced nicely. Full hookups with 30/50/20 amp service. Our site was reasonably level with a concrete pad underneath. The staff in the General Store/Registration Office were friendly and helpful. We came in November so it’s a bit off season but the rates (with America the Beautiful annual access pass) was $60 a night plus resort fee. If it were on the water, had some shade or at least a bit out of the wind, maybe the value is there to command the price but when you have to buy tokens to use the shower? Not a great deal. Stayed two nights and it was nice. Quiet and peaceful even though we had neighbors put on each side of us. Not sure I’d stay again, just too pricey for what you get especially with so many great boondocking places around.

The poor rating is due to management and not the facilities. Campground is well situated for exploring the area. It is comfortable and well laid out. Shower facilities are a very long way away from tent sites that would be most likely to use them. Showers cost $3 for 8 min, which is reasonable. Restrooms are conveniently situated to campsites. That said, the staff are poorly managed and could use some serious training in customer relations. They are often rude and have the attitude of doing you a favour for even the most basic service requests. The final straw was the closing of the showers at 9H30 am for cleaning. Folks, this is when people are packing up to leave or go out for the day and want to shower! Could cleaning not wait till 11 am after checkout time? Ludicrous. Management need a serious wake up call.

We stayed at this hidden gem from November 13- 27, 2022. We were able to book a site online. Upon arrival the staff was friendly and gave us information on our site. This stunning lake nestled in the heart of the desert exceeded all our expectations and provided an unforgettable experience for our family. We were in site A-1 a spacious and well-maintained lake view pull through site with full hook ups. The site was level and long enough for our truck, 5th wheel and car. The view was nothing short of spectacular, especially during sunrise and sunset. The campground offers a wide range of amenities to make your stay comfortable and convenient. Free Wi-Fi, clean bathrooms, hot showers, an on-site convenience store, restaurant, and boat rental services. The park is also pet friendly, though we did have some issues with goat heads from time to time both on our shoes as well as our dogs getting some stuck in their paws when they weren’t wearing their shoes. Wahweap's natural beauty is its biggest draw and should be on everyone’s bucket list. The campsite's proximity to Lake Powell allows for endless water-based adventures. Whether you're into boating, kayaking, or simply lounging on the beach, this place has it all. The red rock formations surrounding the area provide a stunning backdrop for exploration and photography. If you're an outdoor enthusiast, there are plenty of nearby things to see and explore. The campsite also offers guided tours and boat cruises. We took the Antelope Canyon tour, and I will say it was well worth it. It was absolutely like nothing we had ever experienced before. We also went to the horseshoe bend during sunset. Both iconic attractions are a MUST SEE!! I would highly recommend this campground for anyone looking to visit the Page, Arizona area.

This is an over-priced but lovely & clean private park in a girgeous setting on Lake Powell near Page, Arizona, operated on public lands by the concessionaire Aramark. In June 2023, the cost for a full hook-up RV site with 2 adults was $88 per night, and they charge another $10 per night for each additional adult. Pros: Level, concrete slab sites, fair landscaping, decent spacing between sites, well-serviced & clean restrooms, trash, and showers. Nice, accessible, walking trails with concrete paving. Online reservations are simple and straightforward, and check-in staff are friendly and efficient. Recycling is provided. Cons: Minimal shade at all sites, trees are unhealthy (have not been watered or pruned sufficiently). No benches on the trails to enjoy the lake views. More centrally-located dumpsters would help. Aramark's customer service after the reservation is poor. In June 2023, they didn't have enough staff to offer reasonable wait times in the telephone queues, and my email question about package deliveries for campers was never answered.

The location and our campsite were well maintained and centrally located but not only was the site one of the most expensive we’ve stayed at but they nickel and dime you to death. The laundry was more expensive than any place we’ve been. If you needed to shower and you wanted hot water, take out a loan! What really bothered me was that this was a national recreation area paid for by our tax dollars. It should not cost this much. The site was long enough for our rig and truck and well maintained. Unfortunately, there are not many options in Page, AZ so you are kind of stuck! I gave it 4 stars for the quality of the site and location but would have gone with 3.5 because of the cost. Also, when staying at the campground, you have to pay the entrance fee to the area as well as for your site. Just be aware!

Got the camp out here and it was a beautiful night. Got a great picture of the stars it was so dark out and the campground was beautiful. With the bathrooms next To my campsite and made it really easy. Getting up and getting to see The sunrise over Lake Powell and Glen Canyon Dam was beautiful
Jul 17, 2022 -
If just for the sunrise, it's worth it. Clean restrooms, fairly priced showers, everyone was quiet at quiet time. The campground itself is in the open and not much shade or trees around. There is a parking lot near the beach where you walk from AZ TO UT on Lake Powell. You can get cell service here. There's also a marina and Glen Canyon Dam is close by.

A friend and I went for a long weekend and decided to camp here as we could have a bonfire and it was convenient to our scheduled activities in Page. We loved our site! We had a clear view of the lake and even though the campsite was full, the amenities were always clean and well stocked. Sites are close together but they are decently sized and have a fire pit with a grill cover. We did not use the showers or laundry, but that is a nice bonus option if you’re camping for an extended time or road tripping. The store was also nicely stocked with toiletries, food, drinks, ice, and other miscellaneous things in case needed.

We camped here in 2019 with our RV in a non hook-up spot (so pretty much boon docking), we rented Kayaks for a day & went across the lake to an alcove had lunch & went back 😀 We had dinner at the resort one of the nights. Then another day we took a tour of the dam! All of the employee's that we any contact with was very helpful, nice, & very courteous. This trip our eldest daughter (my boyfriend is her dad) came for my boyfriend's birthday. We're camping with full hook-ups (very happy about this 😆) we have our own Kayaks but do have to rent 1 for our daughter 😉. Spending 4 days here with all these wonderful employee's & so far again they are not disappointing us!!! I love this beautiful place!!

The place itself is very beautiful. There is an amazing lake next to this campground. The campground itself was nice and very huge! The downside of it is that you need to pay for the shower and it’s really annoying. Also the shower is located in one place only and taking into account the size of the campground, it’s very inconvenient, because it’s hot and by the time you get back to your place, you need a shower again - we had to go there by car.
