Best RV repair place. They take pride in their workmanship. Customer service is outstanding and they will make it right if follow up is needed. Very experienced and knowledgeable. Honest folks who will treat you fairly. I had them do some major repairs on my travel trailer. Axles were fatigued and electric brakes needed replacement. They replaced everything very quickly and they knew their stuff. You are in good hands here. Awesome people.

We pulled in at 4:45 PM with a few problems on our rental RV, hoping they could help us before closing. They welcomed us in, fixed everything quickly, and got us back on the road with a smile. Amazing service – thank you for turning our day around!

Limped my overheated Dodge Promaster in. We had just been evacuated from the N Rim of the Grand Canyon due to fires. Mike took a look and diagnosed a cracked thermostat housing. Made the repair same day and got us back on the road. It was more expensive than I was anticipating but he got us back on the road. Thumbs up.

Called this morning looking for parts. They didn't have what I needed due to Thetford discontinuing and limited supply of parts for my model, but the person I spoke with was super helpful explaining the situation, and providing diy options to fix my current parts. Thank you very much for your help!

I spoke to Mike on the phone and as they were too busy to get me in to look at my rv, he asked me some questions and was able to correctly diagnose my issue (clogged catalytic converter) and referred me to a shop that addressed the issue. It’s unusual these days to find someone who cares and is happy to help even when they’ll make no money by doing so. I’m eternally grateful for this kindness. I highly recommend this shop! Thanks Mike ??

Took my RV here for an electrical issue first thing when they opened in the morning, I’m thankful the guy took a look at it right away and seemed give it a good diagnosis. In the end he told me my transfer switch was shot. So I picked one up in Las Vegas 250$ and installed it. No change. Took it to a repair shop in Canada and they found a loose connection in a completely different area. He wanted 150$ for looking at it for an hour. Ended up settling on 100$. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Had a problem with our rv fridge. The guy opened the outside panel, scrubbing a little and pressured aired it and closed it up. 15 minutes top. Charged us 100 bucks! You be the judge.

Our rental RV had issues with the loft bed not popping up. These guys helped us troubleshoot the mechanism and got it working reliably with a few bits of wire. Very resourceful and helpful, we were back on the road in 30min.

We arrived and didn't have an appointment. They were very friendly and listened to our problem. They competently made an assessment of the problem and then immediately looked at the RV, confirming their assessment. After just 40 minutes, everything was repaired. Fast, competent, friendly! Thank you very much! (February 2024)

Can't thank Mike at Sunwest, we were traveling through Page and our bearing went out on our trailer. We called a handful of places to get it fixed the next day and everyone said they couldn't get us in and back one the road. We called Sunwest and Mike got us in first thing and got us on the road by noon. He also greased up the other side and didn't charge us an arm and a leg. If you need help with your RV or Trailer this is the place to go Thank you so much for the help..

We made an appointment for 8:00 AM on a Friday for a simple service request for our RV. We rearranged our entire day and missed high priority plans to be at the appointment. I was at the shop at 7:45 to make certain I was on time. When they opened, they told me that they did not have me down for an appointment and refused to help. I asked if they could at least give me 5 minutes to point me in the right direction for repairing myself, and they refused. The person I spoke with was rude, never offered an apology, and seemed annoyed that I showed up for my appointment. I have never encountered such terrible customer service. Now, my last day in this area is completely disrupted and I have no answer for my service needs.

DO NOT COME HERE. He was so bad he tought i was leaking oil when i told him 100 times it was diesel. He seriously could not recognize diesel and charged us 95 $. He said he charged the knowledge (not knowing the difference between oil and diesel) and time (he literally spent 2 minutes underneath the van). There was no issue with our van. When we pointed this out, the only thing he could say was: GET OUT. The worst way to make money and treat people. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE, DO NOT COME HERE!

I don’t know if the person we dealt with was the owner or just really terrible staff, but that’s no way to treat your customers. If the owner reads these reviews, please check your employees. The way we were treated was a disaster. Also, the best part, they kept saying that “they’re the only ones that can fix the issue”, but then refused to work on it and were so unprofessional about it. Sounds like an ego trip to me. I guess they wanted us to beg? Not really clear. But we left and found another place that actually got it done. We don’t endorse businesses that treat their customers like this. Absurd. If I could leave 20 more 1 star reviews, I would and they’d deserve every single one.

Mike and Lynne are salt of the earth! We came in to Page on Monday after 2 days of 100 plus temps and no AC!we were desperate for relief. Though they were truly swamped, they said the could replace the ac on Tuesday. And they delivered! Mike spent over 2 hours on the unit, and Lynne worked with our insurance carrier to help us get the fix paid for... and right now it is Tuesday afternoon, and we are back at our campsite, feeling the cool air...aaahhhhh! Thank you Mike and Lynne. It was truly a pleasure!

Only giving this place two stars because they had a part we needed that we couldn't find anywhere else. Super unfriendly folks. Coming from a mask mandated state (and being courteous as non-locals) we were wearing masks and got rude looks from the owners. Felt like we were bothering these people and we traveled far to contribute to a local business! Wouldn't go back.

Our air brakes unexpectedly quit working on a Friday evening while at a scenic overlook south of Page, AZ. We arranged for Ramsay Towing to tow us to Sunwest Auto Marine & RV. As soon as they opened on Monday Mike diagnosed our problem, located a part in Phoenix, and had it shipped to his shop. The next day Joe installed the new part and we were back in business. Lynn took great care of us in the office. Thank you Mike, Joe and Lynn! We are safely back on the road. 2002 40' motorhome.

If we could give Sunwest Marine RV Auto TEN stars, we would! This small business really cares about their customers and provides top notch service with the most positive attitude. The business owner, Mike, is an expert professional. Our car broke down in the middle of a long road trip. Summer being the busy season in Page, it wasn’t easy to get an appointment at the mechanic’s shop. Most of the places were dismissive and too busy to bother with our issue. When we called Mike, he took the time to understand what the issue was and agreed to take a look at it. He and his team examined our car and promptly fixed it. They’ve exceeded our expectations. Besides that, Mike and his wife were so pleasant to do business with. They were very helpful and kind. We felt that they really cared about us. Thank you so much for your help, Mike! We would happily recommend your business to anyone.

Mike is an absolute treasure! We had a problem with our RV where the awning was damaged, Mike and Joe fixed us and hit us on the road again in less than an hour. If you have any needs for RV support while visiting Lake Powell, you should absolutely positively check out Mike for a fair, fast help with any problems you might have.

Horrible customer service, very overpriced, Unknowledgeable staff. Crooked owner. I traveled from 20 minutes away for a 25 ft 30amp extension they said they had. The cord was on the desk when I got there. $89 with tax. (The piece was $35 on amazon). Paid and drove back 20 minutes. Got back to camp. Wrong cord. Drove 20 minutes back to shop owner who acted like I was bothering him. The new cord was on desk. It was marked $15 cheaper. He said he couldn’t refund cause he doesn’t usually accept returns. I showed him the time stamped receipt and explained it was what his employee gave me. Then it was because cash till was closed for the night (10 minutes prior to close). I paid with credit. Oh, actually it’s because it’s dirty and he had to wipe the cord. He ended up only giving me $10 back for the $15 + tax he owed me. Literally the worst experience. 80 minutes if traveling for a part that was 200% overmarked and to meet one of the worst people on the planet. And apparently tip him for the experience. Go ANYWHERE else!

We were at Lake Powell; out front AC quit cooling. It was hot! Called Sunwest and made arrangements to bring it in the next morning. We were there by 8:30 AM when they opened and waited until about 11:00 AM to be seen. Mike and his wife Lynn both seemed to be very nice people. Professionally, however, our experience wasn’t so good. Loaned him my 50 amp extension because his could not be found. Had his assistant, who didn’t seem to know that much, go on the roof to check to see if the compressor had power coming to it. His assistant says that it did. Result, we needed a new AC. Once he found out that it was under manufacturers warranty, he suddenly declared he could not do the work because he was not a certified Coleman Mach dealer. Later, I found out from Coleman that was not at all the case. He charged us $95.00 and sent us on our way. In St. George I found a mobile tech who was willing to do warranty work. He came out and found that it was nothing more than loose wires caused by improper crimping. I cannot recommend Sunwest.

We were traveling through town towing our camper and after stopping at an overlook of the lake, we realized that 95% of the the plastic casing on the rooftop a/c unit was missing. We called Sunwest and they had a few styles available. The mechanic on duty (owner?) helped us fit a few cover styles and when we got the right one lent us a ladder and tools so I could do the easy swap myself and save the labor charges. Back on the road in about 30 minutes.

Mike (& Lynn) at Sunwest are fantastic!! We had such a positive experience and they were open and attended to our difficult situation on a holiday Friday! With determination and perseverance Mike was able to solve our malfunctioning steps and we were able to continue on our vacation. Such kind and lovely folks! L & S

Friendly, professional service. They were able to fit me in on very short notice, and were able to do some custom welding on my travel trailer frame. Extremely pleased with their work, and they also took the time to explain everything in detail. Would recommend to anyone! Thanks for the great work Mike!

I was real impressed with my experience with Sunwest Auto Marine & RV. My Malibu ski boat had a serpentine belt come loose on our third day on the lake near Antelope Point marina. I pulled it out of the lake and searched online for boat repair shops in Page. I called every shop I could find online and none of them could get me in for at least a week which would have eliminated the rest of our family vacation. The next morning I was determined to find someone to help me tighten up the belt which wouldn't take very long. I went to Old West on Coppermine ( I called them the night before and left a message to call me the next morning and they didn't) and for a company with a website tag line, "we save vacations", I found them to be just the opposite. Maybe if I had a a house boat but they wouldn't give me the time of day and told me all their guys were on the lake and no one available at the shop to help me. I drove to Donn's ( I called them the night before and left a message to call me the next morning and they didn't) and they said they didn't have time to look at my boat. While parked at Donn's, I saw another ski boat owner parked there and I asked him if he was having the same challenge as me. He said his Mastercraft boat had a power steering problem and he had called Sunwest Auto Marine & RV (located one building east of Donn's) in same center. He said he had an appointment for his boat to be repaired at Sunset but wasn't sure if he was going to take the appointment or not. He decided to try to repair it himself and save the money and instead introduced me to Sunwest and asked that I be able to take his appointment. Boy did I feel like good charma was coming my way. Melanie and Mike greeted me at Sunwest and I described my problem and they had me back my boat in the garage. Mike looked at the problem and discovered and showed me that the alternator bolt which lets you tighten the serpentine belt had broken off and was laying in the bottom of the motor area along with a washer. He didn't have time to tap it nor did he have a replacement alternator. He said he had another boat with the same problem and what he did was put a small wood wedge in the alternator bracket and pushed it down and screwed it in to create a temporary tightening of the belt and let me use it until the alternator is replaced. The bandaid worked GREAT! We used it the rest of the vacation and now we're home. We rented the boat from First Class Rental in Draper utah and now they can get it fixed. I was in and out of Sunwest in an hour and back on the water by noon. Two other companies out of the six I called did call me back but only Sunwest Auto Marine & RV was willing to make time to save my day and my week's vacation with my family. Thanks so much Mike, Lynne, and Melanie. I highly recommend Mike and Sunwest to anyone who has an engine mechanical problem, electrical, welding, or automotive or marine or rv need.

Mike was very helpful. I've been working on trying to get my water pump working so we can get back to boondocking. He came over, assessed the situation, and told me how easy it would be to fix on my own. He was correct. I bought a new pump from him and a few other random parts I needed around our Airstream, and now we're back to boondocking! I should also mention that they have a very small parts store, but though they don't have a ton, they have a little bit of everything. Another thing I think is important to mention. While I was waiting in line he took a phone call. It was 10am or so, and someone was obviously asking to have something done. His reply was, "I can't get to it right now, but I could have it done by noon." When I asked him if he could come to our Airstream and look at our water situation, his reply was, "I wouldn't be able to get to it until this afternoon." Considering he had at least two other RVs in the garage, I found this incredible. All around great guy who's willing to make time to help get you sorted out.

Mike and Sunwest provide excellent customer service and go above and beyond to get their customers back on the road!!! While traveling to Page, AZ in our RV, we experienced fuel issues and were stranded on the side of the road. Finding Sunwest online, Mike talked me through the possible causes and gave excellent recommendations allowing us to continue our trip to Page. The next day, Mike fit us in around our vacation schedule to replace the fuel filter. Additionally, he repaired our refrigerator. Finally, when we returned to pick up the RV, Mike had repaired our awning.....a fix I had forgot to ask him to look at, but he had noticed on his own! For less than $200 and 3 hours, Sunwest resolved 3 issues we were afraid we were going to have to live with for the rest of our vacation. Thanks, Mike!!!
