Over the past few months I have visited the LKQ Huntsville location several times. The staff members are really friendly and have answered any questions that I have had. The prices are great and they have saved me a lot of money as I have 2 OBS Fords that I am scrounging for parts. They are organized and helpful and I was really impressed that during the really hot days, there was a cooler of water for us that came in pouring with sweat. I have recommended this place to several people, and will continue to do so. My buddy and I actually look forward to going.
Very easy process, paid the entrance fee, looked on the receipt for the potential car locations and took one of the handy wheelbarrow/wagons to assist me. Also, easy return process. Love this place!
Went in today looking for an infinity/Nissan car part and after a long day in the sun and though literal blood, swet, and tears Sarah was very comforting and helpful at check and even had a healthy snack and FREE! Auto salvage yards that let you go in and pick your own part are becoming rare. It's nice to have one in the area that has a decent amount of vehicles with very reasonable pricing.

I recently visited the Huntsville Alabama LKQ Pick Your Part yard and had a fantastic experience. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the yard was well-organized, making it easy to find the parts I needed. The selection was impressive, and the prices were reasonable. Very helpful staff. Went in when I needed a wheel for my Accord. I was able to return it after I tried to have a tire mounted and found it was bent. Make sure you keep the receipt.
I would be nice ask someone in person about what come on a part. I need the pulley to my water. And yes it show that they have the water pump but I can't find the pulley. No matter where I go.
Bull crap place!!!!!! It use to be cool. I needed a torque converter for a dodge mini van. They had one already off but wanted the price of a whole transmission. Which I could have gotten the whole transmission cheaper online and shipped. Just saying, it use to be cool but now it’s a ripoff. They’ll be the way of the dinosaurs if they can’t fix whatever is wrong. OBW this was not a one off. This is just one of my complaints. They ain’t worried about you, cause they selling stuff online too. They got guys taking parts off seven days a week before you get there for what you need to get there and find cars stripped like they were in Detroit. It’s not a pick your part it’s an online thing now.
They will not answer the phone at all I’ve been trying to call for 2 days
the website gives the incorrect information one day it will say they have nothing at all in stock and another will say they do. You can’t get any help from employees

Tried charging me a price for a starter that’s the exact same price as a brand new one from auto zone and when I said something about it I was yelled at. Safe to say I will never use LKQ again. I can not believe the disrespect inside of the Huntsville lkq
I have been to this location several times over the last few years. I can't remember a visit that was unpleasant. There are rules, I follow them. No issue.
Recently (last couple of days), I was there purchasing parts for my son's car to restore it from a small accident. With making multiple visits within a short time frame, I got to know some of the staff. I just want to bring attention to Kam, Sarah, and Brittney. They were so helpful, friendly, informative, and just generally nice. I have been to a number of salvage yards in my life . . . and it is nice when the staff care about your needs and helping you to find them.
Prior to picking up a load here, I read the reviews as I generally do if I haven't been there before.
As always, when I see the majority of comments are negative, I read through most of them to try to get a feel of what I'm going to have to deal with.
Needless to say, none of them was about picking up/delivery in a semi, but more so about the sales office. From the GPS, getting the semi inside the gate wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, but there wasn't much room to play with either.
Loading my truck took a bit longer than I thought it would, but given the room or lack of what the employees had to work with, made it hard for them to complete the job in a reasonable amount of time, not to mention the heat of the sun directly over everyone that was working to get my semi loaded.
I initially spoke with Brianna and she politely instructed me on where to turn around on the street and which gate to go into.
Quinn was the Supervisor in charge and was very professional and doing his best on how to manage the process.
Desiree' was the forklift driver that loaded my truck.
She really had it under control despite the narrow and steep ramp that she had to drive up and down to load each pallet.
I know that the intense heat made it very difficult and stressful for each person involved.
It was a very heavy load and took quite some time to fill the truck, but all that were mentioned were very friendly and conversative with me, so with all that being said, I'd have no problem in going back to this place!

This LKQ is my go to pick your part place and I’ve had good luck finding used parts here as long as I can get to the car quick enough. Their prices are usually fair and I’ve not had any issues finding the cars in the lot since the isles are well placed diving imports to the right and domestics to the left when your first walk back there and the isle numbers are clearly visible.
