Just came back there from taking in 30 plus bags of cans stuffed. And only got $59!?!!
Are these people allowed to rob you??
I understand people are under hard times but this is a BUSINESS!
The other can place I went to 9 months ago, I got $189!!!
And I had less bags of cans!

Do not I repeat do not go here. Even after I read the reviews I still gave this place to benefit of the doubt and just like everybody said they ripped me off too. I had 40 bags of aluminum cans ask for a receipt and was paid $59 with the receipt you see attached here. No weight for the cans nothing. This place is a rip off. On the horn with the city and BBB as we speak. DO NOT GO HERE
I don't think that they are giving you the correct amount for weight and the money that you're getting I feel that they make up their own prices they don't tell you the weight very nice guys. I've been to others that pay more and they actually give you a receipt how much wait you have they hide up in the dock there above and you see nothing and I have to assume they are telling you the truth but in which they give you less money than you should
Good service and nice people! Fair market pay! I'm pretty sure all the 1 star reviews are the same guy because I had a great experience both times I went here.
Listen, after reading these reviews I have to admit I wouldn’t be surprised if every one is true. Love how this guy attacks his customers online when they are not satisfied by his service. Anyway, we were met at alpha by an extremely kind person who must work on the lot and he was very helpful. Later while unloading we felt who I can only assume is the manager staring at us. It felt hasty and hostile. We did not see any clear representation of what the scale weighed. He came out and handed us some cash (which we later discovered was a lot less than what we expected.) We definitely were not offered a receipt. Felt kind of disrespectful and cheated.
There is absolutely no way this guy has more than a two star rating. I’m almost certain these reviews are bought. He calls it recycling but really it’s just trash. Rude and pushy owner. His “Fair market value” doesn’t seem to line up with several other of his competitors who pay an actual fair market value. Had trouble getting him to show us the actual weight on the scale and had to ask for a receipt after he wanted to just throw a few bucks our way and us be on our way. Don’t be tricked, he is not a reputable business man and it will save you a bad experience to drive the extra 10-15 min.
As a business owner myself I was absolutly shocked at the level of incompetence and professionallism of the owner. Hid the weight from us, tried to pay cash with no recipt. Wouldnt allow us to take our property back when he low-balled us. We were able to find out that there have been numerous complaints to the city of Cudahy, the BBB and with the IRS. The police won't interviene either which is suspicious. The man will not value your business and we HIGHLY recomend you go elsewhere and do not give him your time or money.
Great guy and love the way he does business. Honest with everything and his employee is respectful and hardworking. The sad people that complain are literally not what anyone's gonna care about because if you know him you know that he has probably been there to prove otherwise to you.
Nice local recycling center to get some extra $ for your recycled metal. Quick and efficient for drop offs ( most times). Would recommend going any day but Saturday’s (expect wait times). Friendly staff and team. The only place I like to recycle my metal.
Husband and I have been coming here for over 10 years now. My FAVORITE little hidden away recycling center gem. Staff is always so friendly, polite & beyond helpful! We bring our aluminum cans in every few mo. & it’s always a great experience. Prices are always, always fair & a HUGE plus? They don’t make you empty your bags! Huge timesaver & again - can’t stress enough how wonderful the staff is. Thank you Alpha for being a wonderful addition to our neighborhood!
Great local recycling place, prices seem to be better then most. Not a lot of "shopping cart" traffic. Very nice people to deal with. I have been bringing my scrap metal here for years.
The staff truly appreciate your patronage. While driving east on Morgan Avenue prior to 20th street, I noticed a billboard. It stated " Recycling is creating ".
DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. I had close to 700 pounds of scrap metal and they gave me 13 dollars. You're better off taking it to the dump. Another time I got there at about 3:35 and they said that they were closed early since they were slow on this day. There hours online say they are open until 04:30 PM.
They DO NOT take identification for the scrap. Must be a good place to unload stolen property. They Do not let you see the weights and give you no receipt. Your probably better off tossing your stuff in the garbage than selling it to these crooks.
