Stopped by at the recycling center by PCSWA and honestly had a great experience. The place was clean, well organized, and really easy to navigate. Even though I went on a Friday and most of the containers were almost full, I found out they get emptied every Tuesday so Wednesday is probably the best time to go if you want everything wide open.
It’s completely self-service, which makes it quick and convenient. I also saw two older gentlemen there recycling, which genuinely made me happy to see just a nice reminder of people doing their part.
Really appreciate the county for making recycling so simple and accessible. Definitely a great resource for the community ?
Clean facility with easy access and plenty of parking. You can’t pull right up to the bin doors, though, so if you’re dropping off a bigger load, be ready to make a few trips from your car.
When we visited, most of the bins were already full—though it was the Monday after Thanksgiving, so hopefully just a holiday surge.
