My truck came here to be repaired because of air leakage, I told the technician where the air leakage was, After he checked it, he told me that it was because another part was broken.he helped me replace the parts, but the problem still exists, Then he replaced the brake Chambers for me. After I paid, I was about to leave, but before I got out of the repair shop, the brakes were leaking again. He not sure. then he told me that another mechanic would have to come the next morning help me checking again.Let me wait until the next morning, but I have load need to deliver the next morning, and I drove 200 miles without fixing the truck.
After delivering the load, I drove 200 miles back to them, and they said another part was broken and needed me to pay more than 600 dollars, plus the cost from yesterday, I need to pay about 1000 dollars to fix a simple leak, this is too exaggerated,Their mechanic wasted everyone's time and was not professional at all, but it is worth mentioning that their front desk lady was very polite.thank you 。
Good shop, knowledgeable mechanics. Came for electric problem with my Volvo thought it was alternator since I was loosing voltage and these guys wasn't just replacing parts. They tracked the electric lines and found the line was compromised. Paul and Winton should be promoted. They are kind, professional and a reason why I trust TA Truck service!
It too expensive to not be able to park for free. As a trucker you should be able to park for free, especially the the money you already have to shove out at these style of stops
Yo, this morning I stopped here because my trailer had no brakes and loaded with the dot tattletale light on (bullshit)??♂️. Anyway, I got right in ?. The professionalism and know how to fix this rhythm from the mechanics gave great results ??. Trailer brakes lights out and I’m not just using tractor brakes. Thanks for the great customer service. We called for road service because our truck wouldn’t start after an oil change done at another TA location in Ohio. When we contacted this location, we were told that a mechanic would arrive within 3 hours. We agreed and waited patiently.
After more than 4 hours with no update, we called back to check on the status. This time, the person who answered sounded intoxicated and informed us that there was no mechanic available until after midnight — meaning another 4 hours of waiting. When we asked why no one called to inform us of the delay, his response was simply, “I was busy.”
Absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional behavior from a company like TA. We lost valuable time and could have arranged help elsewhere had we been told the truth earlier.
I stopped at this shop for a minor repair to address a coolant leak on the hose/clamp. All they needed to do was tighten the clamp, but the technician didn’t release the pressure, causing coolant to leak out unnecessarily. Despite their mistake, I was charged about $120 extra for the coolant.
The manager was rude and unprofessional, offering no accountability for their error. This was a frustrating and disappointing experience. I cannot recommend this shop due to their lack of professionalism and poor customer service.
Horrible service. Thank God they weren't very busy because there was only one person in front of us in line, and we waited in excess of 10 minutes. We ended up setting everything down and leaving.
Nice store inside, fueling lanes, repair shop, parking, food. Just a lil hard getting into due to the traffic in teays valley, just follow the enter/exit signs and traffic signals. Restrooms available. Not many truck stops near Charleston, so it's an ok place. Im getting fuel there all the time
Cute building. Garage on site for unexpected repairs. All the typical amenities, bathrooms, showers, laundry facilities, souvenirs, expanded automotive/hardware section, food, drink, snacks.
**The day I visited I happened to lock my keys in my Jeep (yes, again, it’s an ongoing problem) and I have to say the cashier on duty and one of the guys from the garage both went above and beyond to help out a frazzled vendor who was having a rough day.**
This is a nice truck stop. Large and clean. Hot water for the showers. Showers are large and clean. Lots of parking. Fuel island is a bit of a pain. Overall this is a great place.
No restaurant. Heated up prepared microwave dinners is what they have to eat here, and they cost $12.00 $18.00 dollar's for re-served parking. Quite place to spend the night....
Big joke. Don't believe anything they tell you. Because they lie about everything. Good place to stay out of. No facilities. No food. Just dog and pet food. The fuel attendant just bragged about finding a better job somewhere else. When I asked her about the food. She just laughed and said you nasty dirty truckers are like pigs in a pen.you will eat anything. I just left.☹☹☹
Too high priced for sub standard work. Charged me 300 for a part that is 85 at the dealership plus milage to go get it. Stay away nothing but thieves. They have a sign out front saying thank you truckers for all you do. Needs fine print stop on in so we can screw you!
Very clean, workers are extremely courteous, I couldn't have rested at a better truck stop. I recommend anyone driving thru WV to stop here if you're tired you will be treated like family!
Okay, well all the parking I saw was pay. As for the clerk that I dealt with, I left with the feeling that I was bothering him/ her by making them do their job. This wasn't the first time that I was made to feel like this, but it will be the last. I have no intention of returning to your business unless my company sends me there for fuel.
This was the cleanest place That we have ever been to. Everything including the bathrooms were spotless. They have any kind of food that you would ever need. And reasonable prices. I do recommend this place highly
I stopped here to get fuel and something to eat and use the rest room. I looked at the hot food and there was a TA employee looking at it, he shook his head and walked out the front door headed to McDonald's next door. I went into the rest room, no tp. I asked the girl behind the counter she says the guy that was just here is only one that could get it and he was no where to be found. Based on other reviews I read, they don't really want you to use the bathroom here.
Bathrooms hadn't been cleaned in at least 12 hours. No decaf, weak coffee, sign says 'mask required for entry' but the clerk wasn't wearing one so, what's the point? Yes, the majority of parking is reserved at $18 a pop. Perhaps I've got my priorities too high. Or, they've got their's too low.
This TA is pretty small and over half the parking spaces are "reserved" for those who want to pay $15-$20 per night to park, which I think should be against the law. The Kiosk wasnt working correctly when I was there and everybody seemed to be in a bad mood. If I had a choice of where to fuel it wouldn't be here. ??
I see the owner waist his time responding on social media instead of getting a damn restaurant in his establishment! How can you POSSIBLY care about drivers when you don't have the ability to feed them a home cooked meal! And hot dogs don't count!!!
This is one of the best TA repair shops in regards to customer service!! Cory, the service writer, was awesome; he was professional, pleasant, friendly, honest, and most importantly he got me in right away! David the mechanic changed my fuel filter and noticed there was a lot of sludge on the bottom, he could've just replaced the filter but made a real effort to clean out as much sludge as possible. I would recommend this TA without any hesitation. They treated me like a valued customer and with kindness and respect. Thank you Cory & David, you guys are awesome! Keep up the good work!
