Incredibly quick simple and reliable, they're always very upfront and honest with you with whatever questions or concerns you have. Every time me or my father has gone to see them about whatever issue major or simple they have always been consistent with their services. They never give you the corporate run around, just a local buisness handling locals with respect.
Had to have some repairs done on a 2014 Jeep grand Cherokee. Before taking it to them I looked at prices for the part and found it online from $130-$210. Took it to Holsteins to be looked at and see if my personal diagnoses was correct… it was. The guy gave me an estimate of $700+. Two and a half hours labor and FOUR HUNDRED FIFTY dollars for the part. I said “woah buddy! I found the part link r for no more than $210.” He relied with “yea, we charge DOUBLE for parts”. Seemed odd so I called my other mechanic buddy and he explained that most garages upcharge 20-25% on parts. NOT double. The work was don’t correctly, they were honest with the pricing. So if you don’t mind paying double for the parts then by all means, take your vehicle to these sheisters. Or find a garage that will allow you to bring your own part and install it. I will not be back and I will not recommend Holstein’s to my friends or family.
Update: randomly thought to check the oil today. It was an entire qt low. The job calls for an oil change and coolant flush. The oil change apparently wasn’t done and I can only assume the coolant flush wasn’t either. Only reason I’ll be going back is for a free oil change… IF they even agree to that.
You want a honest mechanic then go to Holsteins! The staff are extremely nice, professional and honest! Their pricing is fair (more than fair) and they are happy to help!

So the man sitting behind the counter, I asked him about two jobs that I needed to have done. He proceeded to look on his computer like he was doing something important. You see the thing is I do my own investigating because there's nothing worse than someone who is dishonest. That being said the two minor things that I needed to have done would be a total of an hour and a half. But this good old boy told me it would take 6 hours to do the job. He was absolutely not telling the truth. So I want to warn everyone about holsteins and the dishonest gentleman that sits behind the counter. Even the parts that I would need did not even cost me over $50. The two parts totaled I guess he thought he was going to take advantage of this lady here. No sir you didn't. So I am going to say shame on you for your dishonesty. My advice to everyone stay away from holsteins. Being dishonest is not a way to win over customers. And the ones that you have as customers apparently they don't know any better.
Had some tires mounted and balanced, plus an oil change. Joey is a nice guy, staff seems like they're on the ball. Service isn't the fastest but they did a great job...
If I would give you zero stars I would behind your work . I came in expecting professionals . You have been there for 50 years you would think that your service would match your reputation behind 50 years. You caused me more repairs 600 dollars more than the 340 you charged me . And you refuse to compensate for your mistakes serpentine belt crankshaft seal was wrong part . BBB. Precision Auto in Jacksonville Florida fixed it (mechanic Josh)
