This place is a joke. Something that should’ve taken not even one whole month to fix, took 3 months. Called them to check on the status of my vehicle and their front desk person just told a bold face lie with no remorse. I strongly and highly advise that there are far more HONEST and EFFICIENT garages. Will never bring my vehicle there EVER again.

Craig was very responsive and great to work with. He was able to see me and start working on my vehicle within one week while all of the other shops in the area were backed up for months. The repair only took 2 weeks and they did a great job

The amount of time, missed dates of being told when the vehicle would be completed by, lack of communication, and the condition my vehicle was in at time of pick up was disappointing. I personally spent 30-45min cleaning all the marker off and other tape residue that the body shop left on my vehicle. I was told by Craig that he looked over the vehicle before I arrived. One glance at the vehicle and it was very clear to me that nobody cared enough to be sure the vehicle was ready to be handed back over to the customer. They were very thorough in making sure though that there $10,000 plus check was all in order though before I left and was very sure to collect my $100 deductible. You know, the important stuff. In their words “every dollar matters”.

Wiper fluid was reconnected wrong and residue left on my car and windshield from its replacement but I brought it back and they got to it right away and made it right. Very courteous. I can't give 5 stars because it wasn't totally done right the first time and it took three weeks (maybe not thier fault) but the commitment to make it right would have me using the business again in the future

I would never recommend this auto body, due to horrible communication; car not being repaired properly after 5 weeks; repairs that were out of the scope of the damage that I had brought it in for; and costly repairs I did not approve as I could never get them to communicate what work they were doing ! I went to Chandler's auto body because Allstate has them as a preferred repair shop. I was originally told it would take 1 - 1/2 weeks to repair. It took 5 weeks. When I would call to get a status including $, they would never be honest with me. It was always they were waiting on parts or they were waiting on my insurance company. I believed them, why wouldn't I? I was told someone would call me back which NEVER happened. I was told at the beginning of week 2, that with the big hail storm that happened, they were slammed with work. Which basically meant my car had been forgotten about. After 3 weeks, I was told that someone quit, and there were parts that were never ordered by this person who had left. When it came to the end of the 3rd week, I was panicking, as no one would ever call me back. We were moving on 5/17 and I had to have my car. They did not care. I had to call a total of 29 times over the course of the 5 weeks, as they NEVER called me with updates, nor did they return my calls. On week 4, I was told by Cody my car would be done early in the week and he would call. No calls of course. I called on the Friday of week 4, spoke to Cody again, explained I was moving the following week. He said they would have it done by that Monday and he promised he would call. Once again, no phone call. I called on week 5 and spoke with Craig as Cody was not available. Craig was abrupt and abrasive, could have cared less that I was moving, or about the past 4 weeks with no clear facts being told to me. As if I was in the wrong somehow! When my car was returned to me 2 days before our move, I discovered that there were still issues with the car they did not fix. I also was able to finally get the invoice and that is when I saw they replaced a wheel for almost $700 (not including labor) that was not part of the scope of the work. They were so friendly and understanding when I first brought the car in for the quote. Then the day that my car was finally finished, they were friendly. Those were the only 2 times I experienced that. I would never ever recommend this place to anyone. I think if you know someone there, maybe you would be treated differently.

They repaired the bumper of my f-150 after I was rear ended. They communicated really well on the status and did everything they could to get my truck back as soon as possible. They did a great job and the bumper looks like new.

Took my brothers car in for 4 weeks ago for minor trouble. As of this date they only have one person who works on cars so my brother had to wait two weeks before his car was even looked at. Then found out part not made anymore so mechanic tried to make piece to work in car. Then needed computer piece which ordered off eBay and part still not in. When this is a person's only form of transportation, it is inconsiderate of a company or mechanic to take that long to fix a car? This company has been around for years and makes good money. Why only one mechanic? Are they so cheap and do not care about their customers that much?

These guys are unreal. Why cant every autobody/service be like them? Extremely helpful, very reasonable in price, patient, quick with service. I literally dont have one negative, which as picky as I am, is rare. They gained a forever customer...

Absolutely fantastic service. I was fighting with my fuel door assembly for an hour and got nowhere, Chandler's got my truck in and out in literally 15 minutes-while charging less than a third of the minimum price Ford quoted me. Gary was great and helped me out swiftly/smoothly. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!

About 2 months ago I was rear ended by someone whose brakes went out. Greg Chandler’s Frame and Body was the shop I chose to do the work, based on a recommendation of a family member. They had the car for about 6 weeks and I got it back today. They did a beautiful job of fixing all the extensive damage to the spare tire wheel well and rear bumper areas. They worked well with the other driver’s insurance company, despite that company’s initial unrealistic expectations which were based solely on photos of the car (since no one from the insurance company actually came out to see it) and then their continued lack of communication. Chandler’s, however, persisted, getting additional repairs approved and communicated well with me on progress. A big shout out to Craig for all his help, the front desk staff for their kindness and the team who did the actual repairs. You are all awesome!

Greg is a joy when he answers the phone, the office staff is courteous, and shop repairs are completed timely. My current service tech, Cody, is extremely responsive to phone calls. They will work with your insurance so you don't have to. All around the ONLY place I would recommend for body work within 50 miles of Kanawha County.

I used the Greg Chandler automotive repair facility right next to the auto body area. He has a state of the art alignment machine, and he came highly recommended. The mechanic must understand and know the nuances of alignments to get it correct. He has that here! I must say that scheduling was easy and I waited in the comfortable waiting room and had a wonderful conversation with the secretary, Laura. In fact, everyone is friendly and professional in their interaction. That really makes for a great customer experience and eliminates any consternation one would get from most other repair facilities. Great repairs and a super customer experience make this facility now tops on my list for my automotive repair needs. I can highly recommend this fine business. Try it! It's Charlie the cat approved!

Had some paint work and body parts installed after an accident. Bumper skirt and passenger side front quarter panel were painted and installed. Great work at a good price. Staff was friendly and professional. I think they said it would take 5 days to get it done and it was done a day early. Above and beyond expectations. I'd definitely use Greg and his crew again.

If I could leave less than 1 star I would, but I had to select a star to be able to leave a review. We were in a multi car collision in early August 2023, damaging our front and rear bumpers, side front fender and a few other dents and dings. Our insurance company (State Farm) provided me a list of ‘preferred shops’ to fix our car. We decided to support a local smaller business verses using a large car dealership. We chose Greg Chandler Frame and Body in St.Albans, WV. We dropped our car off approx August 22, 2023. Roughly 2 weeks later we were contacted that the car was ready for pick up. When we got there it was obvious the bumpers did not fit —the new front bumper was either the wrong bumper for my car, damaged, or missing parts, when you would touch it on one side the other side would move. The rear bumper was the same, it did not seem to be attached properly and was “VISIBLY DAMAGED”underneath. The part was “DAMAGED” but they chose to use it anyways. The lines from the hood and trunk were not lining up with the bumpers or fenders. I was horrified!! It was amateurish at best. We refused the car. We even commented it looked like the car was taken to a vocational school on the 1st day of body shop class and the students were told to show what they could do. When management came out and inspected the car they said the same thing… it was a terrible job, BUT it was the insurances fault because they make the body shop use after market parts. Our car should have NEVER left the garage without being quality checked… it would have failed, yet it rolled out their garage doors as ready for the customer. We were advised that new parts would need to be ordered and the whole job started over again!! The front bumper came in approximately a week and 1/2 later but when attaching it, clips were discovered broken that held in a front head light, so that had to be ordered. The rear bumper finally came in after being on back order and delays… according to the shop it looked like it had been drug across the pavement. So another bumper was ordered!!! On October 26 2023, I was called and told that the car was ready and in ‘excellent’ shape. On October 31 2023 we went to retrieve the car. The paint on the new bumpers vs fenders is off in my opinion. Yes, the bumpers fit now, “visibly” the repairs seem “acceptable”, however the car would not start!!! The body shop determined the battery was dead and they used a jump box to start the car and it idled a good while as we went inside to do paperwork. Upon trying to drive off the lot, the car would shift into gear but would not move!!! Management was called back outside and said the battery was so dead that the car won’t move and I needed a new battery. They did replace the battery and the car moved. However while leaving the lot, a friend who was my ride there, followed me out and realized a brake light was out!! Management was called back outside to the car — at this point all of the lights and signals were checked. Sure enough a front light was out as well!!! How does this kind of stuff happen!!! The lights were fixed and we brought the car home. What a terrible experience!! I realize not all of the issues were the body shops fault due to State Farm’s corporate policies, BUT if a quality checklist and inspection would have been done on the job they were paid to do, this could have “possibly” been done correctly the first time. It seems simple to me. Check the work BEFORE the car rolls out of your garage doors and ? BEFORE you contact the customer that the vehicle is ready!!! If you choose to use this business, I suggest you go over your vehicle very well when they tell you it is completed.

My poor baby got rear-ended. Friends recommended Chandlers to do the repairs and they did not steer me wrong. Craig did an excellent job of explaining what needed done. They kept me updated on the progress. While i miss my bumper stickers, it looks fabulous.

I had the pleasure of meeting the owner while at the shop, and I would go so far as to say he's a genuinely great man. His staff is professional and curtious, and the work they do is truly amazing. The repairs to my car have made my car look new again. If you want quality service and individuals that will go out of it's way for you, then Greg Chandlers Frame & Body is where you should go.

They did some body work on my new 2021 Ford Escape.. It looks great.. Very happy and pleased and would recommend them to all family and friends.. Length and time of service was less then 5 working days..

Incompetent Management Non existing owner First off I took my wife's brand new Yukon Denali to them to get front bumper painted after a small fender bender with minor damage. Simple job right?? Not for this place after taking it back 3 times the manager tried to blame my wife for their poor work. Said the car had front end impact and was the reason for their poor painting job not being able to last around headlights. Funny thing we never had trouble with paint around headlights before they got ahold of it. I asked to speak to owner said he would call me but I never received a call. Don't waste your time with this place I wouldn't let them paint a wheel barrow.

Not only was my issue resolved, it was quick, and way cheaper than anyone else I would have taken my car to. I cant recommend them enough. All the 4 and 5 star reviews are accurate.

Absolutely unreal!!!!! My vehicles have been hit and banged up on more than one occasion and on each and every one that has been repaired, the body shops I have been to have had not been able to make it look like nothing had ever happened... I am a meticulous person re: vehicle appearance, so when I could look at a body panel and notice the difference in color or finish quality, it always bothered me. These guys did an absolutely unbelievable job matching the color and the finish!! They didn’t just blend the repaired area with the surrounding panels, they made it look like it had come from the factory... then cut and buffed the whole car so the panel finishes matched all the way around. THAT is attention to detail and THAT is taking pride in your work. When I asked them about it, they confirmed that’s exactly what they had done. Again - absolutely unreal quality and attentive detail. The panel gaps - perfect. Color - perfect. Greg Chandler’s team not only fixed a massive deer vs. car screw up for me, they did it better than anyone I’ve ever seen!!! I now live 5 hours away, but if I ever need body or paint work done again, I will instantly rent a trailer and have my vehicles hauled straight to these guys. I cannot recommend them enough!!!!!

Great service and super friendly staff! Needed a windshield and inspection sticker. Dont have a lot of free time due to work but was able to get in and out in less then an hour! Very reliable and trustworthy auto shop. They have full service garage it's not just body!
