Andrew was such a huge help this morning. I called into the shop because I needed to have my battery replaced on my way to work. He was able to grab the correct battery for me over the phone and held it for me until I arrived. Once I showed up, I paid, he brought his cart out and had my battery replaced in 15 minutes or less. He was a life saver. Thanks again so much!!!!
Went in needing a headlight bulb replacement, guy at the counter stepped up above and beyond and made sure to explain everything to me. Would definitely suggest this to anyone who needs advice or parts.
They were so awesome to me. They didn't treat me like a just a dumb woman like most places! They changed batteries for me pretty quickly even though they were extremely hard to change.
Had a breakdown while coming home from NC, dead battery. Had car towed to the Ruther Glen, VA store where they replaced it. Came to find out they sold me the wrong battery for a car with the stop/start feature. Went to my local store, Inwood WV, they could not have been more helpful. Switched it for the correct battery, checked the alternator and got me on my way quickly. Highly recommend the Inwood store!
I've never been upsold before at an advanced, but getting handed a $40ish dollar bottle of power steering fluid for my car had me for a second going: "huh..?". I almost died laughing. 10/10, would go again! xD
I can't rave enough about the kindness and excellent service that was provided. We were broke down with a dead jump box, and upon walking into the store, Mark immediately jumped into action and got us moving within minutes. Thank you so much for saving Easter for my family and I!!!
I purchased new wiper blades at another location. The service was terrible and so were the wiper blades. I stopped at the Inwood store on my way home. Andrew M and Joey went above and beyond to provide excellent customer service exchanging the wiper blades, installing them and making sure I was happy with them. I always receive such good service at this store!
Always busy not enough help...I think I need to clarify what I meant by that comment. It was not a negative towards the employees at the store they hustle when need be. They are attentive and do there job. But considering how busy it can get at that location there are times the wait is crazy. Maybe get an employee to just help the customers that need something serviced outside. That would be great on my opinion.
Brianna thought it would be hilarious to say my husband was flirting with her and stated she was too pretty for automechanics(fits in fine). We fought for hours over it. Come to find out he never said any of that. Her coworker stated its happened a few times with previous customers. We're not sure why she thought it would be a good idea to start drama between a couple for absolutely no reason. We've never had to deal with this at any other part store before. Neither of us are happy about the situation. Not professional in the slightest. We'll keep the commercial account with autozone.

Omg 2 workers in store at like 3pm. One on the phones and one waiting on in person consumers.... 5 people in line and 3 other shopping in store... Took 35 minutes to a pack of bolts and a can of WD40.

Stopped in to get a few things to get the car running right and they had everything we needed and even helped with explanation of one part. Offered to help, but we handled it. Good place
I have called multiple times to get a part and I am always put on hold . Usually for 5 to 10 minutes. Which seems like eternity, when just sitting there and you could be on the phone with a place that actually has enough people staffed to help out. Today I waited 14 minutes just to have the guy randy get on and give me an attitude because it keeps ringing in the store again when you have been on hold so long that it starts the loop over. 3 loops I waited for his attitude. Nevermind I wanted to spend money in that store. Never again. I won't try them anymore even if everyone else is out of the part.
I went to purchase a specific part. The gentleman was very helpful. They didn't have what I needed & couldn't order it, so the guy sent me to AutoZone next door.
Great little auto parts store fully stocked shelves look wonderful floors were clean and the store manager was flat beautiful had great service and lots of experienced help would definitely recommend this location they do their best take care of their customers
Dan and John are AMAZING! I was almost sold into buying a new battery for a new car that I've only had for 1.5 years by my car dealership. I came to Advance Auto Parts to double check because something seemed sketchy to me. When I called the store to inquire about how they could help me, John answered and had great customer service. He ensured me that they would help me, and even if he wasn't there that someone would. When I came in, Dan was working and he not only helped me test my battery and let me know that the dealership was trying to finagle me, but he also talked me though the process of batteries and offered his help anytime I have any questions. I trust them more than my own dealership, which is sad to say! Thanks for the stellar customer service, patience and integrity that a lot of car places lack.
I purchased a new starter, it was faulty. Same with the 2 additional replacements. When I brought the final one back "Mike" implied it was not the equipment, but my fault. After test it was shown to be faulty. Bad attitude, limited knowledge, just dissapointed.
Mike is an outstanding customer service rep. He does whatever necessary to find the correct application, time frame for arrival if necessary, and treats every order (small and large) with excellent focus and gets the job done every time. Outstanding employee and certainly the best to work with of the parts providers in Inwood.
