Worse place I ever talk to called about pipe and other plastics and couldn’t get a sentence out with out being cut off and wouldn’t even let me tell him what other plastics I had and when I told him to let me finish my sentence I was told to spit it out. But hey I’d be pissed off first thing in the am to if I worked at the dump making ten bucks an hr hopefully you see this smart ass every one’s a bad ass on a phone
I think it’s really important to have a recycling center and to have one that is close to Martinsburg is all the better! They take so many types of recyclables, I was really impressed.
This is a wonderful place to take recycling including many more types of items than I had realized: yard waste, including brush and leaves as separate categories, they use the brush to make mulch. They also take computers, batteries, foil pans and plates, plastic bag recycling, used lumber, multiple kinds of glass, 10, steel, and aluminum cans separately, food compost, clothes and shoes, box, batteries and paint, cardboard, and probably a few other things as well! The place feels clean and safe. I've been there several times by myself as a single woman and I feel like areas are spacious enough and I can pull my car right up to each bend. Highly recommend! It's a great service for the community.
Well-organized layout. Plastic 1st in the metal shed on the left Drive to the right towards the back for cans, foil, and glass. They take plastic#1-7, glass, aluminum pie plates and foil, clear, brown, green and blue glass as well as cans. Located af the Inwood, WV exit off of I-85.
