I went to Carson with a ready mind that I may not leave with a car. When I say my credit is at its worse (but David and the guys in the office did everything they could to get me in a vehicle that day. I mean they literally went through every single option,program, and possibility they could muster up and I was able to drive off with the exact car that I wanted. Yes I did have to put down more than I initially thought however that was better than nothing at all. I’m so thankful for these guys. There’s a reason they’ve been in business for so long. Thanks again DAVID!!!! ??

To be honest if I could give no stars I would, I was promised they would fix an issue on my car and there repair shop had it for 6 months and couldn’t fix it, claims it’s a dummy light and there is no fixing said light. I tried to reach out to the person who sold me the car to make a complaint and was completely ghosted!! I was rushed into buying my van only because I was giving birth less then a month away and need a vehicle, if I had known they wouldn’t be able to fix the issue or even truly try to fix the issue I would have never bought the van I did, they may seem nice but they prey on you being vulnerable and lie about the safety of there vehicles. My airbag light is on an has been on and they can’t even prove it’s a dummy light and/or won’t go off if I’m ever in an accident, best believe IF that ever happens and the airbags don’t work they will have a HUGE lawsuit on there hands for falsely saying it’s a dummy light and the airbags are fine!!!! Take any vehicle you look at to your own mechanic DO NOT trust there mechanics, they don’t know what they are doing. They are nice and helpful but lie like no other! Do NOT trust them if they claim they will make sure the car gets fixed! They will send it to there mechanics who are useless and then they will wait months and months and then claim it can’t be fixed, they make it so your out of that “return” window as you could say. They add miles on so that even if you tried to take it back like they offer they turn around claiming you’ve gone over the miles and/or months you have to come back. It’s so pointless, if you looking for a shady dealership this one right here is the shadest I’ve met!!!

Well I bought a car from them I pay cash and honestly cash is a lot easier to deal with but it was some haggling but I got what I wanted for a fairly good price vehicle I got it's got a couple of issues but unless you buy brand new what do you expect I mean you never know I mean you can get a $200 car and not have a problem and you can get a $20,000 vehicle and have a lot of problems It's just a matter of how the car runs and all this stuff but yeah

Test drive, sale, and financing on 8/6/2024 went fine. They met me in Bellevue the next day to swap vehicles because the headlights on my purchase required repair that they couldn’t do same day. I appreciated this since I live south of Tacoma. However, it took them over two months to pay off the loan on my trade in. So I continued to make payments on two vehicles until they finally paid it off. All the while having it listed for sale on their lot. Communication was abysmal. I did eventually receive a refund for my payments on the loan but this was really stressful. I paid off my new to me vehicle 13 months after the sale date on 9/2/2025 and was owed a prorated amount on my unused gap coverage. I emailed and called multiple times between Sept 10 and Dec 19 this year. Again, terrible communication and customer service. I randomly received a check yesterday 12/31 for $606 when I expected closer to $655 considering the terms and basic proration math. No statement was included and I have not heard from them since my last email on 12/19. If you want to buy a used car here, you should reconsider. Don’t expect any decent customer service after the fact. I’m pretty disappointed and I had hoped it would turn out otherwise. I won’t be returning and won’t recommend Carson Cars to anyone. The only reason I gave any stars is because of my experience on the day of the sale and they met me a little closer to my home to swap vehicles. Otherwise, it’s been a stressful experience when it could and should have been otherwise. I have tried to be fair and balanced in this review.

I edited my review, I had left a bad review after having some issues with the car we bought. The owner texted me directly to see how he could make it right! Not only did they fix the problem with the car I was having, they found another problem and fixed it too! I also wanted to thank Curtis and his team at the repair shop for their excellent attention to detail and diligence in making sure the car was 100% before I drove it home! They have earned my trust back. Thank you guys!!

Carson Cars wasted my time and disrespected me from start to finish. Yesterday, their employee Dorion told me I was approved for a 2015 Jeep Wrangler with a $1,000 deposit. I was told everything was good to go. I rearranged my schedule, came in ready to finalize the deal, and suddenly the entire story changed. The moment I arrived, I was told I was not approved at all. Instead of the vehicle they promised, they tried to push three cars from 2002 and 2006 — all in terrible condition — and acted like that was the best I “deserved” because of my credit. The exact words were basically: “This is what you’re good for if you want a car.” That’s not customer service. That’s manipulation and disrespect. Carson Cars advertises that they help people with bad credit, but what they actually do is bait you with false approvals, get you in the door, and then pressure you into taking whatever broken inventory they can’t sell. No honesty. No consistency. No professionalism. If you value your time, your dignity, or your money, avoid this dealership. There are plenty of places in Lynnwood that won’t treat you like you’re disposable.

I was hurt, the salesman was awesome and told me one price I couldn't resist. but when we got to the manager, he took the price away and made it higher. So, I left, wasn't going to keep the price I originally agreed to. I had cash in hand and willing to pay

Go to Mason, he was fantastic, helped me dig out a car that was buried that I really liked! The boss guy was openly racist which would've made me storm out if I had any other option but my hands were tied so I just felt bad for the Hispanic employees that have to listen to him. But outside of the abusive leadership, the staff were great! So nice, so helpful, solid comradery and professionalism amongst the sales people. I'd go back for the people, not for the boss.. his rant was wildly offensive and innapropriate and again, had i had another option, I would've gone somewhere else but I really had no other option :(. The vehicle itself is solid, they have a good selection, their mechanics take good care of their vehicles, and their finance people were able to work with me on my very difficult situation.

I purchased a truck in September. I still can’t get the title from them. They stop emailing me back. Stopped returning my calls because I just kept getting voicemails. I just keep getting the run around. The truck also had lug nuts falling off the first week I purchased the truck. Poor customer service across the board. Edit: the company comments that they’re sorry and that I should contact the dealership directly. This is one of the few times I have heard from the dealership. I have email threads that go back to September where I get little to no response. I have a phone log as proof that I’ve called and left voicemails for Jess in the records department, Shane the manager and even on Mikes work phone and cell phone. Mike is the owner. Not even the owner has responded to my many calls, voicemails or emails. I last talked to David in sales on Tuesday. David insisted he would have someone contact me with a response. It’s Saturday and still nothing.

First off, it's our fault that we bought cars from them in the winter and at night. Bought 2 cars from them. They said no accidents for both of them but obviously they were in accidents. AC didn't work in both of them. Floor heat didn't work in both of them. Oil leak in one of them and the hood ended up flying open on the freeway. Just be careful when you buy from them.

I would leave them a zero star if that was an option. I strongly caution anyone considering buying from Carson Cars. Today we test drove a 2013 Jeep Cherokee, and the experience was extremely dangerous. While driving on a main road, the car’s power went out entirely - no lights, no electronics, nothing. Thankfully, there were no cars behind us, but this could have been a serious accident. This experience reinforced something I’ve been telling my partner: buying a used car, especially from a dealership without verified reliability, is a huge gamble. If you don’t have excellent credit or enough money to put down for a car with lower miles that is actually dependable, you’re risking your safety. Honestly, in many cases, public transportation is far safer than gambling on a used car that could fail you at any moment. Buyer beware. The SUV details: White 2013 Grand Cherokee 168,000 miles They didn't list it online yet but told us 10k.

I was in a bad situation, literally stranded in Seattle after my car went out. I called several dealerships but was turned away because of my situation at every one. I almost passed up Carson but saw their reviews and reached out. Trevor responded and listened to my situation, what I needed and the constraints I had and somehow within less than 12 hours, I was in the perfect car. He was attentive (and easy on the eyes) and well informed and made the process incredibly smooth. But everyone I interacted with at Carson was absolutely amazing. Customer service and dedication to the customer was shown by every single person. I damn near felt like family when I left. Shane, who wears many hats even offered me some options for my broken car so I didn't have to immediately stress about getting it towed the 3 hours home. Incredibly thankful for Trevor, Shane and Carson Cars for helping me today.

They claim to help everyone regardless of credit situation, but at the last minute they change their mind and don’t let you know. I visited the dealership three times: on Friday I went to see a car, did a test drive and didn’t like it. Then I drove another one and liked it. I sat down with the manager Robert, and he offered me a better car for a similar payment and even offered to split the down payment into three parts. I didn’t have time to drive the car on Friday and couldn’t return on Saturday, but I came back on Sunday ready to buy. I drove the car, liked it, but had issues getting insurance. The quote from the dealership was very high, so I decided to contact a friend for a better quote — but he was unavailable on Sunday. On Monday I managed to get a better deal, spoke with the salesperson and confirmed the car was still available. We scheduled for Tuesday to finalize the deal. When I arrived, the salesperson even asked about the down payment amount I had negotiated with Robert on Friday. I confirmed it, called the insurance agent, paid for the insurance, and gave the policy info to the dealer. Then, a few minutes later, the salesperson came back and said they had changed their mind — that the easier down payment option was only valid on Sunday, and now I’d have to pay double what we had agreed on. It was extremely frustrating. We argued, and they said they had the right to change their minds. Sure — but they could have told me before I paid for the insurance. That would’ve saved me all this stress. To summarize: they tried to push another car in poor condition, I even offered more than what we originally agreed to get the car that I liked, but the manager Robert was inflexible and did not keep his word. I left the dealership with a paid insurance policy… and no car. Terrible first impression. I do not recommend this dealership.

Some people love car shopping and some people don’t. I am on the latter half of that equation. After having a horrible experience at a different car dealership, (Trucks Plus NW, don’t waste your time going there!) my sister and I randomly ended up at Carson Cars in Lynnwood, WA. The minute we were pulling into the lot I felt better. We were greeted kindly & appropriately. We were treated with respect and were not jerked around over prices and affordability. They respected my price point and didn’t show cars that were too high or too low in price. I ended up getting a really really good deal from them. I will always go back to this lot to purchase used cars. (Actually any cars because I damn sure will never be able to afford a new one!) When I was inside waiting for them to work their magic and get me into the car, they cleaned the car up really nice and installed the temporary plates on the vehicle for me. Being a female shopping for cars can be extremely difficult. This place did not make it hard for me, did not make me feel uncomfortable, and did not treat me like a simpleton. I HIGHLY recommend Carson Cars!

Carlos really helped me out, i’ve been trying to get a car for months but have never had any luck. He made the process as fast as possible and walked me through the whole lot to find just the right car. He gave me his honest opinion on each vehicle, their finance manager was also extremely helpful and did everything he could to make sure i could walk out with the car I wanted, they gave me the most for my trade out of 12 different dealerships including carmax. If you’re in a tough situation with car buying or just want to go somewhere where they’ll treat you like family and not a credit score I highly recommend Carson’s Cars ask for Carlos!

Had been shopping around for a Mustang and came across this one at Carson Cars. Sales team was always polite, in a good mood as well. My salesman was Trevor and Scott was our finance manager for the purchase. They definitely helped us get the best deal we can that worked out for everyone. I'm grateful for them going above in beyond to make sure everything went smooth. They were transparent about everything and made sure that noone lost their time. Fernando at Carson cars was amazing… After going to 4 different car lots the moment I got to the store it felt like family. He was able to walk us around break down all of our options and was straight with our expectations. Less than 30 minutes he was able to recommend the perfect car for us. I did not feel pressured at all, no overwhelming sales tactics and i feel like we got the best option for our family. My only concern was that the car was passed due for an oil change when we purchased it. Here is a picture of my son driving away in his very first car!

Bought a car from Carson Cars. Met with David Gonzalez (had an appointment with Jack, who wasn't there) David took me under his wing and took GREAT care of me. Couldn't have asked for anyone better!
