The guys at Filmon are great. Our car is a 16 year old Saturn Vue and we frequently have things that need to be checked out. Filmon has fantastic availability (they can often squeeze small issues in same day while you wait when we call in the AM) and are incredibly reasonably priced compared to other places. They diagnosed an issue in 5m that had puzzled our grease monkey guys, despite being related to power steering fluid. We also had calipers needing replacement - they took them off to show us the issue and explained why one absolutely needed replacement compared to the other which could wait if we wanted to spread them out. The other well rated shop we got an estimate for didn’t give us the same info and would have been 30% more expensive. They’re kind too - have given us freebie help even though it took him about 30m (no parts). It’s a casual place - don’t expect fancy waiting rooms, shiny customer service, or other premiums you’d find at a dealership (that costs more money). Filmon has knowledgeable mechanics, gets it done for a good value and are trustworthy. We don’t go anywhere else.

I was recommended here by a friend, and it did not disappoint. I went in to get a recently purchased used car inspected, and Fili and the team pointed out leaks the dealership missed even though they had certified the car. They provided videos as well, and made sure I had the right info to present the dealership. I’ll be making this place my go-to repair shop.

During a stressful moment of uncertainty I had a wonderfully positive experience at Filmons Auto Repair. Their pricing is fair and I felt my questions and concerns were met with thorough explanations and care. They diagnosed the issues with my car at no cost and began working on repairs right away. I added in an oil change ($82 after tax for synthetic blend) and left with a weight lifted off my chest! Thank you Filmon, I hope both sides of your pillow are cold tonight!

My go-to car repair in Seattle/Shoreline. Excellent customer service. Honest upfront prices. Have had my water pump and timing belt changed in 2017 and car ran smooth until 2024 with routine home maintenance. Came back to Filmon again recently for a throttle body issue. Would recommend to any family member or friend!

I have been coming to Filmon ever since I have owned a car. My family loves the care they take in repairing our vehicles, the proactiveness they practice to get them done on time and the friendliness they show when we need work. Almost 5 star reviews on google and you almost think it's too good to be true to find an honest mechanic with great reviews but here's the catch. These guys DELETE ALL THEIR NEGATIVE REVIEWS and cherry pick the ones they like. What's the point of having a business when you can't receive feedback and have honest reviews from your clients, it's almost sickening. These people are unethical and nontransparent with their work and advertisement. First of all, they don't have front desk staff so it's almost impossible to get ahold of them during business hours. Second, they source all their parts at O'Reilly's down the street, which is terrible if you drive a luxury SUV like me that needs OEM brand but instead you have them replaced with several cheap suspension parts (which they don't tell you about) and that don't last more than a year. Third, these guys don't paper warranty their work, instead they simply go off their good word which is not held by any sort of stature and of course when something does go wrong they won't honor it. I had to go to an actual insured shop down the street to order new parts and have them reinstall everything TWICE. Save yourself money and a headache by going elsewhere, these guys are horrible.

Awesome and easy experience only place able to get me in no hassle next day. Lobby/lounge is comfortable and clean. Team is easy going and hard working. This is the best mechanic in Shoreline, possibly in greater Seattle. Absolutely no BS and just excellent service. Thanks for your help!

I can only concur with all the other reviewers who hadn't seen a real honest car mechanic in a long time. These guys fix cars and won't waste your time. It was a refreshing experience to stop by here for an urgent break job. Thank you again!

Great customer service! Been there 2 times now and have been helped right away. I called before the second time which helped. They really narrowed down my problems, showed me what they needed to do before they did and just communicated really well. More than fair pricing. I'll go here every time with my car now. If you haven't been there before you should and won't regret it.

I usually do not write reviews, but do not waste your time going elsewhere for car repair. I called several other places for quotes, but Filmon's was the best. I dropped my car off for a complete brake and rotor change Friday night, and it was done Saturday before noon. Quick, cheaper than the competition, and eager to help fix any car issue you have.

Great service for a very reasonable price, honest work and a mechanic that you can really put your trust to take care of your vehicle and not worry about getting ripped off. Highly recommend it

Filmon has been our guy when it comes to getting our cars done for quite long time. One thing that I like about this shop so much is that no delays and no long wait whatsoever. Once you go to this shop, you will not go anywhere else after that. Keep the good job, Filmon and his colleagues.

Best auto repair in shoreline. Great price and customer service.

This is the second time that Filmon Auto Repair came to my rescue. Both times, my check engine came on and they were able to diagnose the problem quickly and make simple repairs / sensor replacement quickly, correctly and without over charging me. They were kind, patient and very knowledgeable. I trust them 100!

I bought a new car (BMW) about a month ago and took it to Filmon for repairs. As a girl it’s very hard for me to not be fooled as I don’t know much about cars .. filmon took care of the repairs -big jobs like valve covers/ oil leak etc.. He gave me a very fair price and kept his word ! BMW Are very expensive to fix .. I keep going back to him and call him over every little thing and he always takes good care of me ! I really trust and appreciate his business he is my go to mechanic right now and I can’t recommend him enough ! It’s hard to find trustworthy mechanic !!

First of all, I really want to thank Filmon for being honest, trustworthy and easy to work with. He has unbelievable knowledge about cars like no others. He was able to find the problem right on the spot and helped me understand what was going on. I’ve taken my BMW 3 series and BMW X6 for many major repairs and maintenance done. Im very satisfied. Very friendly and straightforward staff. Unlike other car repair shops, he doesn’t try to rip you off. He has really good pricing for the quality of the job that he is providing. I called a few repair shops in the area, and no one could get me in for some time. These guys made room for me the next business day, which was fantastic. They got the work done very quickly and had my car returned to me the same day, and where I have seen tune-ups cost quite a bit of money for my car, these guys billed me a very fair rate. I will definitely look to take my vehicles back as needed! Thanks guys!

This is the best mechanic shop I have ever taken any vehicle to. They are honest which seems to be hard to find from a repair shop. They fixed multiple issues with my truck and the total was exactly what they quoted in the end. I have multiple work trucks, diesel and gas. I will not trust anyone else to work on them from here on out. If you live on the north end, this is where you want to take your cars.

Visited Filmon auto repair end of March as I was recommended to get my vehicle repair done. I have a 2016 Jeep Renegade and all i can say is I am thankful! Filmon put a whole new engine in my car and she drives beautiful now. His customer service was awesome. He was competent, fast and fair. I was charged exactly as quoted. I will not trust my baby to anyone else. Overall great experience!!

Filmon has been working on European cars for over 20 years. I’ve been a loyal customer for about 4 years now. He’s been punctual with the mechanical work on all of my cars. He values his & customers time. He takes care of the cars with such care. And has never denied further repairs. He lets me know the exact cost of parts and labor. I have yet to take my cars to a dealership. Except for updating systems. I appreciate his passion for his work!

The shop owner Filimon is such an amazing person. I recently had complications with my Lincoln dealer, i took it to Filimon's to get it looked at and he was able to diagnose the problem with in few hours. I was charged 85 at the dealer for a false diagnostics but Filimon spent at least an hour on my car taking his time to truly get to the root of my leakage problems and he didn't even charge me for it. Need less to say i had my leakage problem maintained at his shop, his price was reasonable and his customer service was excellent. I highly recommend Filimons for anyone looking for a genuine mechanic with great professionalism and good work ethic.

Excellent shop. Took my Volkswagen in because my engine was misfiring, and Filmon and co. managed to diagnose the issue, repair it, and they charged a FRACTION of what the dealership and other mechanics quoted. Great communication during the whole process as well. I would honestly give them a sixth star if I could.

A perfect place to take your car. Friendly staff excellent repair services. I have a Nissan, Mercedes S 500 and a Toyota Cerria. They take care of all my problems on my vehicles. And they do a excellent work.
