I always enjoy my visits to O'Reilly Auto Parts in Yorktown. The store is consistently clean, organized, and welcoming, which makes it easy to find what I need. They also offer military discounts, which I really appreciate. Today, I stopped by to figure out what was going on with my car battery. Eric helped me every step of the way, from diagnosing the problem to replacing the battery. He was an absolute gentleman—kind, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful. I even told him I wish more people shared his positive outlook on life! Whenever I need something for my car, O'Reilly's is my go-to. With team members like Eric, it’s no surprise why.

Best auto parts store! They are military friendly and customer service is second to none. Shout out to Gary, thank you sir for your customer service. You are one of a kind!

Friendly people that are helpful with looking up what part you need. Only downside is that after looking up the part number I was on my own to find the 2 air filters I needed for my vehicle amongst a ton of other ones.

Been coming here for years, always helpful and friendly. Thought I needed a new battery, but Doug helped me clean the corrosion off and sprayed protectant to do a battery test. Turns out my battery is still good, and I left learning something new and saving money. Because of that, I’m able to go to work without taking a day off to mess with the car. Really appreciate their kindness in the community!

The light to refill coolant had been coming on intermittently on my BMW 528i. I had two places check it and they both said that it was fine. I won't go into the details behind that. I walked into O'Reilly's Auto parts and two gentlemen there where exactly what I was looking for. One of the gentlemen went out and checked my coolant and indicated that yes it was low but more importantly the color was off. He recommended that instead of spending money on coolant that I get the radiator flushed. He gave me the name of H&H Auto Repair in hampton. I couldn't be happier with the service that I was given by Doug Miller at O'Reilly as well as the other gentleman in the store. In addition to service that I received from the O'Reilly his recommendation was I will be posting a separate review for the service that I received at H&H.

Well first they had enough people to work there. The young man who changed our battery did it with precision and in a timely manner. They have me as a customer!!!!!!

Gary went beyond the call of duty today and spent over 40 minutes with my car battery installation, which was not easy due to older vehicle, worn out parts things like that. He was a real pro and didn't let that hinder him at all and exhibited the expertise of an A-1 car mechanic! That's just one of many positive experiences I've had at this store - the Yorktown location.

Needed 11 gallons of 15w40 for my truck they only had 4, business lost on the sale, got all 11 at Grafton parts store.

I’ve been shopping at Oreilly’s for the past 5-6 years and have never ever dealt with anything like this. There’s a big guy there that’s a manager that didn’t want to warranty my part. One of his employee, long blonde hair dude, snatched a part out of my hand and told me to not touch the part even though I was trying to show him the difference in a new one and the one I wanted to warranty. Worst customer service I’ve ever received at an Oreilly Autopart store. I threatened to call the district manager, even though I never got through to talk to the district manager cause they never pick up their phone, to tell him/her that their employee snatched an item out of my hand. By then, they decided to help warranty my part but I had already gone to another oreilly and got the warranty I needed. WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN!

I love there auto parts store ONLY place I get parts. I HATE THERE WEBSITE it’s a joke no matter what I am looking for and no matter how I type it it ALWAYS TELLS ME NO PART FOUND There web site needs some serious work just saying and it’s ONLY there website cause I can go anywhere else and BAM there is the part I’m looking for

The young man working was absolutely amazing!!! My moms car started acting funny, and all the lights on dashboard come on and dinging. I turned car off and back on it cleared all lights and he was so nice and knew his job he went above an beyond to check other ways and was able to tell us exactly what it was. He deserves 10 stars I wish I could remember his name?? He unlike others come outside after me telling him I accidentally turned the vehicle off and no lights come back on. Thanks again and keep up the GREAT WORK. this was Sunday July 31st around 4pm I hope this is seen by management and they will look back to see who im talking about, HE DESERVES RECOGNITION FOR SURE!!

Place opens and I'm thinking great, another auto parts store to go with the 14 we have in like a four mile radius. Out of the 14 you know how many will take time to research or help, 1. This one.

Just to let you know the manager at this O'Reilly's is the ultimate professional. He located the part that I needed over Newport News but I just got to say him and his complete staff at this branch are the best.Thanks for the help

After looking several different places, this O'Reilly's had exactly what I was looking for. A 350 cold cranking amp battery for my riding lawn mower.

This store is especially clean, well run, and with a very knowledgeable staff. On several occasions, staff and managers have gone above and beyond to provide diagnostics, purchasing guidance, and help solve problems. This creates high customer satisfaction and loyalty. Based on my past experiences, I would highly recommend O’Reilly Auto Parts.

Only reason im giving 3 is yesterday i went to get a check engine scam and the older gentleman was hesitant to do so cause it was "pouring rain" (misty rain honestly) and when he did he said was 10 codes and to unhook battery and such. Took to autozone and they said was a misfire in sparkplugs n wires. Otherwise its a very good store.

These men and women consistently go above and beyond anything minimally necessary. They're knowledgeable, polite and very helpful. In 99° or 29° weather, they have checked my vehicle's electrical system and as needed replaced the battery, replaced windshield wipers or just checked out the engine oil after I had surgery and couldn't do it myself. You will not be disappointed. Always honest and competitively priced. Thank you.

Went to browse and see if the had window wind deflectors that fit my truck. They did and customer service was great. Even reminded me of my discount card.

Mike and Eric were simply amazing! After trying to figure out a part for my Jetta for about a week with different stores, Mike was able to assist me right away and the part was at the store the next day! Great customer service last week with finding a light bulb and testing the check engine light. The guy that helped was friendly and knowledgeable.

Wow, did they rip me off! Valve lapping compound - only one 'rude as hell' old man attempted to find 'grease' looking in the wrong area of the store. They found Permatex 80036 in a tube (water soluble) and I paid what I thought was too much. It was! Summit Racing has the same product for $2.99 and Summit is high. This store ripped me off for $4.49 - not a lot but just enough to keep me out of their store in the future. Never again....
