“Run and drive “ doesn’t mean anything here at this branch. The car I just purchased from here was listed as run and drive which means it goes into reverse and drive and moves in the lot. This is all false. The car I got from here has a bad transmission and DOES NOT GO INTO GEAR AT ALL!!! I will no longer be bidding at this branch.
Terrible service, starting with the manager. That guy thinks he owns the place, but he's nothing more than a simple employee, just another cog in the company's machine.
Don’t trust these people without confirming your payment because they will not help you once they take the car. They’re very bad for business and give a hard time for any payments. Do not use these people for insurance… coming from a shop in Virginia. These people are not worth trusting.
Great encounter with the staff! Front desk woman, went waaay out of her way to help us! April, I believe. The loader had it on our trailer in a very courteous timeframe, & we were back on the road.
This place has blatantly disregarded all corporate policy; the due diligence in which they handle the black business man is, outlandish. On every level we deal with them from corporate, to portfolio holdings and this one Suffolk branch is going to make us go bull and void on the entire investment for our team.
Quick in n out in less than an hour just tight getting in on a full size spread axle careful not to cut your tires on the railroad tracks had to back up 2 times to hug the left side and swing wide and still barely cleared my rear tires on the pavement if there was a vehicle parked there I those parking spots I wouldn't be able to make that right turn.. but good professional service and quick in n out not no copart headache lol

These guys are totally unprofessional, Driver was at the location at 4:25 and they didnt let him in, coworker said to me that driver was supposed to be there at 4:15 while all other IAA locations close gate at 4:30, avoid this place as much as possible. They will just close the gate on u even if u make it on time.
The IAA in Suffolk, Virginia is absolutely the best. Inside and out the ladies that do the paperwork titles is so respectful and considerate and professional and polite. The loaders are very efficient. Smooth through and through. Anyone who has had something negative to say about IAA Suffolk must have been having a bad day before they even got there.
The worst iaa location by far… they make their own rules, won’t help you with anything and oh boy the attitude through the roof! The location is definitely something else you need to make 16 u turns to get there since it’s off of an exit ramp, all the other locations are way better
Terrible attitude. My company has the same driver since 2013 and we have never experienced such as insulting and disrespectful attitude towards him, we go to this location almost every week, it has been like that for the past 12 years and my driver has a bad experience every week; he has been complaining about it but we were trying to tolerate it, Today the Manager Albert was having a blast kicking three driver out of the Auction with the worst attitude possible, my driver was exposed and expelled in front of everybody, humiliated and disrespected, we will file a formal complain and we are completely sure this behavior is racist and will continue until we solve this. There is no reason for a Manager to treat customers like this, our customer is suffering the consequences too by having his vehicle left behind because a "manager" decided today was his day to show off his ego around. Our truck has cameras installed at All Angles and I will send a formal/legal explanation request to IAA for the aggravating results to our business and our customers after todays Show presented by Mr. Albert. Please investigate that it was performed not only against my driver, 2 more drivers were treated the same way today, and very surprisingly all latin!
Everything about this location sucks.. Attitudes and rude about everything and anything outside of the office.. Also could care less how they load a vehicle and what they break in the process of the truck they are loading and the truck they load it onto.. Seems to be done on purpose my honest opinion...
very unpleasant people work, and the place in the swamp (this is a swamp) came at 4:30 pm to pick up the car, the lady was on the phone while she finished it was already 4:35 and her whole working day was finished, wait until morning, came in the morning to pick up charged fi $40 for being a day late
I am giving Suffolk IAA an 1 because negative 50 is not an option! I made a deal with Peddle to sale my son’s 2010 Dodge Avenger which was scheduled to be picked up on 9/3/21 between 12-5 pm. I cleared my schedule to ensure I was available to meet the tow truck driver at the service center where the car was located. The representative at Peddle informed me that the towing agency would call me when they were 30 minutes away. I waited for the phone call that never happened! At 4:30 I decided to call Peddle to get an ETA. When I made these arrangements I said it was imperative that I have an ETA so I would be able to notify the service center of their arrival time, and get there prior to the tow truck to retrieve all items in trunk and give the the title. NO ONE FROM SUFFOLK IAA had the common decency to call me to let me know that the tower was running late and needed to update their ETA. When I called Peddle-all they could tell me was that the driver was in route. I explained that I needed to know he was in route AND be provided with an ETA so I could inform the service center manager! Their customer service is below par and this agency has actually CLOSED without contacting me! I am furious that I have wasted 5 hours of my day sitting by the phone waiting for some to let me know what is going on! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY ! THEY ARE HORRIBLE and so is Peddle since this company works with this tow agency! I was asked if I wanted to reschedule…ABSOLUTELY NOT! I will cancel this transaction and find a company that not only values me as a customer but, also values my time!
Unfortunately had to visit to clean out my belongings from my vehicle that was was declared a total loss. Sign when you come in states all visitors please sign in. After about 20 minutes one of 5 people on the other side of the counter finally acknowledge that I'm there and asked to help me. While I'm there a tow truck driver appears to be giving hell to apparently the dispatcher about not getting a tow. All in all a very displeasing events to top off having to go there due to also displeasing event of why your there. Just glad I'll never be going back hopefully anytime soon.
Be warned, "Run and Drive" doesn't have any meaning here. The picture pretty much says it all: the last person to crank this one up didn't have to shut it off.
IAAI LODER OPERATOR BROKE MY WHEEL LIFT ARM TODAY AND THE MANAGER SAID THEY ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGE INSIDE THE YARD 🥴🥴🥴🥴They can do do whatever they want if the loader hit you or you car his said don’t care is terrible manager because his said is nothing what he can do is under you RISK GOING INSIDE THE YARD SOMETHING HAPPENS IS IN YOU NOT MATTER WHAT THIS IS CRAZY his need fair his job today his damage my truck tomorrow somebody else
I haven't been to this place. I wish Google could ask have you been to a place before asking you to rate it. You can't rate something just cuz you ride by a place.
