This business is operating in the state of Virginia and they are not legal company in that state. Will take anything that’s left in your vehicle and it will take forever to get it back. DO NOT USE THE COMPANY!!
Dad went to get his stuff from his Silverado & they wouldn’t allow him to back his other truck up to load his power tools up so he had to walk very heavy tools back and forth. When he got to the truck, the tonneau cover was pried open and severely damaged, the bed rail was damaged from where they pried it open, there was a big scratch on the truck, and there was a huge gouge in one of the tires. There was no need to pry open the tonneau cover since all they had to do was open the tailgate, the truck wasn’t locked. All of his battery powered tools were left exposed to the rain we had yesterday (10/8) since they wanted to pry open to either steal or let the stuff be damaged purposefully. And I don’t know why they proceeded to damage the other parts of the truck. This place needs to be investigated by the BBB and any contracts they have, need to be cancelled. They were extremely rude from the beginning, not only to my dad, who really is non confrontational, but to the other people waiting for their cars. Just by looking at the other reviews and by my dad’s experience, this place needs to be shut down. Pictures from other reviews just prove the point.
This place deserves 0 stars! They wrongfully repo-d my car. They just saw a black Nissan Rogue and that it was the car they needed to repo. I have videos, pictures, witnesses of the company STEAL my car. I am glad my car has a gps on it, because I was able to see where it went. I thought my car was stolen and in pieces. I called the police and they told me it should have been my neighbor's Rogue that should have been repo-d. This was at 7 am and I had to get my mom to pick me up to drive to Suffolk from Va B at 1030. The supervisor told me that he figured out the problem and they were about to tow it back. Are you kidding me, just drop it off like NOTHING happened?!?! I missed out hours of work, pain and suffering. I was told to file a complaint through an email address that was given to me. TWICE now I emailed them, nothing, I found a different email for the company. If I don't know hear anything back I will be contacting the tow board and DCJS. This is ridiculous....first black Nissan they saw instead of turning down the parking lot.
Did anyone else get denied access to your contents in the vehicle? I know it's illegal to withhold property after repo, BUT, they did it anyway. When the sheriff came to ask them why, they said I didn't have an appointment. The thing is, I HAD an appointment that they cancelled! They claimed that they didn't have the paperwork to release my car. So they held it for 2 weeks. I got the run around so often that the bank said they might be trying to sell it illegally since they've done it before. Luckily, I have a mom who knows when to be a Karen and contacted the BBB, attorney general, and a few other organizations. I got my car the next day and they didn't cancel my appointment that time.
The crazy thing is, when I showed up the first time, there were about 5 cop cars there already. When the sheriff came, he said that he's not sure why the state hasn't shut them down.
This company is a joke! They deserve zero stars! I’ve called 15 times and emailed 3 since my vehicle was released and they refuse to answer the phone or respond to my email. I can’t get their online scheduling system to work. It says there’s no appt for 2 weeks! I called their parent company PAR North America and they first said that they had no way to get ahold of them. When I asked for a supervisor it turned into it looks like you already have an appointment. I haven’t been able to make one so I do not know who did. The supervisor said that since they have my information, obviously I made the appt. Also, for you Ring camera families, they had to have had some kind of jamming device for my wifi. On both of my front facing cameras I have zero footage of my vehicle being removed from my yard. The footage is just missing. I’ve reported that to VB Police. Look it up, you can buy a jammer for $599.99 on Amazon. It will send a signal up to 20 meters away and freeze up your wifi. I’m contacting the BBB on both businesses.
What kind of POS company is they do not answer phone calls they repoed my daughters car at 4 am from the hotel that they are staying at with no paperwork presented to them .mean while they just lost their home and where staying in the hotel till they can figure things. Also the lean on the car was from the previous owner that never told them there was a title loan on it. They have there kids cars seats in it for their 3 kids. What a real class act this company is. They are required by law to notify them for the reposition of it. And let them get their belongings.
They hassled my girl when she tried to pay to get her car back. They gave her 4 or 5 hoops and loops just to get it. She tried to get her work badge and key and they said appointments only. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!
My experience was mid you’re unable to contact them at all they never answer . They have the wrong website connected to the website spot . You will need to scroll a little and go to the Facebook which has the correct site in a link . Then it will take you to the correct site which is ORANGE & WHITE in the upper left corner you will see BOOK NOW click it . It will then take you to appointment options. When receiving your vehicle if it is up for repossession you do not have to pay lot fee it is up to your lender . Make sure you call your lender and ask if you have to pay a lot fee . They will try to get you to pay a lot fee bc everyone doesn’t know you don’t have to in certain cases . That’s how they make their money by making it hard or impossible to get in contact . Trying to charge you a false lot fee .
I keep calling to get my personal belongings from my truck and they don’t answer I have been trying to get in contact with them for two days and it’s impossible I have been missing out on work for two days because I can’t get my keys from them
Picked up my vehicle this afternoon to discover not one but two damages that weren't there prior. The lady, Karen (if that's her real name) assisting me had an attitude and wasn't very helpful.
I am compelled to express extreme dissatisfaction with this company's services. The conduct exhibited by the individual identifying herself as 'Jerry,' who I presume to be a manager, was profoundly unprofessional, characterized by repeated abrupt disconnections during our communications. Furthermore, the company engaged in the unlawful retention of my vehicle, and failed to disclose its location. I intend to pursue legal recourse. I strongly advise against utilizing this company's services."
SMH This post is really a zero Torres towing came to my residence and took my daughter car out our driveway illegally on Thanksgiving after seeing these guys on my camera I tried to call them they would not answer so on Monday I went there with the title that had my daughter name on it first they wouldn’t answer the door . I called Suffolk police they showed the owner the title they would not release the vehicle and they scheduled a appointment for us to come back the next day Which never happened they canceled the appointment stating that they did not have paperwork so I contacted Chesapeake police department they told me without proper paperwork that’s stealing I then send them a demand letter they confirmed they received the letter and continue to tell me BS I did not give up I got a judgement on them when it was time to get the moneyI I filed a interrogatories to get access to his assets however when he came to court he was acting like he doesn’t speak English. SMH my uncle is a very respected attorney and my father is in Law as well they will not get away . Crazy part they told me to record everything not only do I have him on tape speaking English but I have the police officer who I have subpoenaed to court as a witness my daughter is a high school student and they are so wrong for taking her car even after the officer showed them who the owner was and showed the title . It was a illegal repossession my daughter does not deserve this and she is going to get what is hers . All these bad reviews it is a sham they still operate and do business in Virginia . I have several people to witness to my case but this is a ongoing thing that needs to be addressed. Justice for my daughter anybody else want to join in and take action leave your info or email . This company is the worst when I was in there office I noticed how rude and disrespectful to people they were . This company has a F rating I have done my research and the finding was bad .
This one star is not real. I give them 0 stars. They are crooks. My vehicle was towed on a Friday I paid the fee and was not allowed to pick my vehicle up until that Monday which I then had to pay another fee. Once I got my vehicle back these crooks stole my $200.00 sneakers out of my vehicle. I'm praying that God will punish them for being low life crooks. 10 out of 10 would NOT recommend.
I can't speak on a lot of these negative reviews that are left here. I just picked my vehicle up, and everything was perfectly fine. Nothing missing, at all, and I had a credit card in my car. The staff were very polite and quick. Took less than 10 minutes
I had a confirmed appointment at 406 Marx st, Va which is a dirt lot with a small trailer. Their customer window is the side of the trailer with the bars cut to handle business. Very hard to find and notice. When I arrived to get my belongings I was told they sent the vehicle to auction. They had the vehicle less than a week. They did not remove all my belongings, and said the bank gave them Authorization. I called my bank and they never gave permission. The vehicle is to be 100% cleared out before sending it to auction. I asked why didn't they contact me... their response "we don't have to do that" I'm surprised this location is still active. Unprofessional and not customer friendly. Rude and inconsiderate
Car was towed to this place. Went to pick it up and my car wouldn’t start. They tried jumping my car when I knew nothing was wrong with my battery. Come to find out they reprogrammed my key and made a new one so my key didn’t work for my car anymore. Forged my signature on a release document until I called them out about it. Filed a claim against them and they lied saying I had my own key and left with my car. When actually I had to get my car towed home. Never answer the phone for anyone and email back when they want to. Very unprofessional
WARNING! Do not do business with them! I literally have no idea how they are still in business and I am providing all evidence to my lawyer and our bank stated today they will be ending service with them. They will go through your car and take whatever they want, and mistreat dent and scratch your car. They even took our brand new wheels and swapped them out with some old looking wheels. Lost our license plate, and took all kinds of stuff that was inside our trunk. It also took them about 2 weeks to figure out where our car is, and they never answer the phone. I would be embarrassed to have any relations with this company
They stole 5 pair of my Ray Ban sunglasses out of my trunk: I had them all in 2 fanny packs and both were empty of everything except 2 pair of non-name brand glasses. Maybe they thought that I wouldn’t notice because there was so much other stuff in the car, but I did. I cannot STAND a thief. I feel totally violated.
Although employees are tolerable in person the system they have set up in order to retrieve your vehicle is convoluted and somewhat difficult to navigate. They have no support or any type of way to be contacted as they do not respond to emails, their phone system only provides pre-recorded messages, and their website takes several attempts to access.
This has been the worst experience I’ve had with a tow company as my vehicle was stolen with an active investigation with HENRICO police department and although the vehicle was towed the employees of Torres failed to contact and or report they picked up a stolen vehicle and made a key and removed my items from my trunk of my car only and took it upon themselves to dispose of the documents shown in the photos they provided and have yet to respond to myself or the detective associated with the case to make me only believe that some form of inside job has taken place in addition the vehicle was picked up on a repossession as I didn’t feel comfortable continuing paying on a stole car which appears to have helped them now locate the vehicle although the license plate was changed and not the registered owners but never the less I was given until May 18th to plan to sell the vehicle and yet they accessed and removed my items and transferred the vehicle off their lot May 8th so again I was never able to view the vehicle directly to determine the condition and make a sound decision if it would be feasible to pay out the vehicle I don’t feel the way this was handled was appropriate and they still failed to send the photos and or copy of their policy where they have permission to access a persons vehicle and remove their items with no inventory check list and or proof which should be taken into consideration as again I was told they moved everything out of my car and into this tub for property redemption and there were no papers but when accessed the photos I’m now requesting and was approved to receive via email that I’ve yet to receive showed that there were in fact documents in the front passenger floor , passenger door and back seat and floor of the vehicle ! Completely dishonest unprofessional and lack of customer service as there is no form of direct communication as everything is automated and or via email which they fail to respond to!!!
I did not have the experience that others did. With my situation, they were doing their job and was not chosen by me. They do close at an inconvenient time and when they say they are booked, they are not lying. They do their appointments 30 min at a time it seemed. The lady was nice and was not rude or impatient at all. I gave her what she needed and asked for and she brought me my vehicle. We did make sure that all of our paperwork was properly handled and got confirmation in writing before going so there were no hiccups. They were quick with their responses through email so that was good also.
This place towed my car. Mya car had no damage. When I went to pay to get my car back my car was damaged on the passenger side. My spare tire was bent to the point you can not put air in it. I made a complaint and they said the car was like that which they didn’t show pictures at time of pick up showing that damage was done already. The lady at the front desk told me they take pictures at time of pick up and when they get to their lot. Where are the pictures at time of pick up? Still have yet to see them. If I could rate them 0 stars I would they don’t even deserve the 1.
After reading the reviews, I was terrified about how my experience would go with this company. From the start, the woman dealing with the appointments was helpful, understanding, and so kind. I was not prepared with all of the correct documents, however the woman and the owner were able to help me with my vehicle. I wish more people had a positive experience like this
This company is by far the worst towing company I have ever experienced. There information and so called website isn't accurate there business hours say 24 hours but there voicemail states different times, there is no one to speak with when trying to locate your car. I truly believe that this place needs to be investigated as well as reported to the BBB because there service is absolutely awful.
Worst experience of all time. Customer is horrible. Pick up is atrocious and very inconvenient. The woman who "helped" me was very rude. You have to make an online appointment to get your vehicle and it can be rejected. The only saving grace is that my bank made it so that I didn't have to pay any extra fees to get my car. They didn't even clean off the number that they wrote on my windshield. If I could give them a zero I would.
While towing my car, the truck backed into my mailbox and broke it. I went to the location of the towing company, and the woman at the front desk seems like she did not want to be there and like she had an attitude. I tried to report my mailbox and she told me that I needed to call back even though I was already there. She didn't offer to take a message or anything. I called back several times as well as my husband and the same unprofessional woman with the attitude answered and to this day, the mailbox issue still has not been resolved with them simply because we have not been able to speak with anyone. This place is unprofessional and I would not recommend it. We can fix our own mailbox, but as an established business we expect more.
I have no idea how smoothly their towing services may or may not operate. But I do know the only experience I had with this company was one of their wreckers blew threw two red lights on Jefferson in Newport News & then proceeded to run me & another vehicle off & onto the shoulder of the road while doing 70/75 in a 55. All while towing a customer vehicle. I’ll be sure that any of my policy holders that are in need of having a vehicle moved go with a company who hires safe & reputable drivers.
