Our Motorhome died on RT. 460 in the pouring on our way to the Outer Bank on a Friday afternoon. Good Sam’s was unable to find mobile service or tow truck. We called around and found Overeast. Kyle came out to help us. We were able to get the RV started so Kyle followed us back to his shop. Kyle was able to read the codes which indicated firing issues. Since the RV was still under warranty, Kyle called ahead to a local Ford dealership, who agreed to see us right away. Can’t say enough about how friendly and helpful both Kyle and his wife were!
One of the best diesel repair shops in the Tidewater area. I would want to keep this place a secret, as it is hard to find a good mechanic that is honest and does superior work. But, I want to let truck drivers know that this is the shop that you want to get your truck fixed and serviced. A++ customer service. They also can handle your towing needs.
Had an air leak couldn’t find where the heck it was and lucky enough Eastover Service was right across the street from the drop location. Made me park on the street since I had 53’ trailer attached, had to wait a bit since they were very busy (good shops are always busy) then when it was my turn it took them 15 mins to take care of the issue. One of those few shops that’s left with good people thanks!!!
Our Truck broke down in the middle of 13, he was stuck for nearly 2 hours. Cal seen our truck and had him back on the road in minutes. Honest people 10/10 will send his contact to all of our drivers.
This place went above and beyond for my daughter. Her husband had deployed, she had no family or friends in the area. Kyle made sure everyone knew to try to get to her first thing in the morning. They came over first thing this morning, very friendly and respectful. They diagnosed truck, took back to shop, fixed it quickly and delivered it back to her. Everyone we talked to and dealt with there went above and beyond. I cannot recommend them highly enough. The BEST experience we’ve had with anyone in this state. This service is very rare this day and age. Sad but true! Thank you again for going the extra mile for my daughter!!

My husband and I were in an accident on a dark, back country road, in a curve. We called several companies and Eastover was the only one who did not blink an eye. Kyle arrived approximately 20 minutes after we called. He was very professional and took his time with us as we were upset. He got us and our truck home safely!!!!! Thank you Kyle & Eastover!!!!!!!
My semi broke down on the side of the road. Not only did Kyle accept the truck and trailer on a Saturday at his location but he had it diagnosed first thing Monday morning. The worst of my fears were confirmed the clutch and input shaft were bad. Kyle came to the rescue and had this large job done within 2 days. Now came time to pay, and I thought it was going to be a substantial bill. To my surprise it has been the most reasonable price I've ever received from a mechanic for a job that big. Eastover service has earned a customer for life. I, 20 out of 10 recommend kyle and his team of pros!!
Called Kyle at 4 pm Saturday Labor Day weekend. Only guy willing to come take a look at the issue one of my trucks was having in Chesapeake Virginia. Wheel bearing went bad and needed to be fixed ASAP. Humble and honest is just the start of this guy. He came out looked at it scrambled till 1 am that night locating parts, no other company was willing or wanted to be bothered but he got it done. Fair priced and just an all around nice guy. His follow up, was spot on every time he said he would call back or be there. Hands down would not hesitate to call him if I was in the area with an issue. Thanks again Kyle.
Went in for a state inspection. Got an estimate to replace brakes. Prices are fair. The owner is humble and honest. I'll be coming back here for my future car repairs.
