I chose this business because they allowed walk ins for RV state inspections and it has ample maneuver room for a 62’ rig. I arrived during the lunch break, but the state inspector still came over to speak with me. The inspector, Clint, was very professional and fast. While waiting for my state inspection, I observed and heard Clint and the shop manager ask questions and engage with the other mechanics on the status of the trucks they were working on and in queue. It was reassuring to know that they have people who’s monitoring the work load to get trucks in and out as fast as possible. They also said they could do work on my Chevy 3500 Duramax in the future if I needed anything.
Well let me tell you about this place most awesome bunch of guys and gals that I've ever dealt with courteous professional and make things happen correctly without a hitch these guys went out of the way to make things work for me in a timely manner I had an emergency repair job and the shop manager rolled me right in and the mechanic jumped on it immediately of course I realize it doesn't always happen like that but I actually broke down at their def pump which coincidentally has the best prices of Def that I've seen. The shop floor and the tools and the men were as clean as I've seen any diesel mechanics in my years running diesels the waiting room was exceptionally comfortable and clean and Michelle in the front office was so accommodating and felt this feel right at home as well as all these awesome things the price for the repairs was less than I thought it would be so if you need diesel, trailer repairs. Or I see that they offer storage securely as well please look these guys up they're well worth the time and the trip thanks again guys 12 Stars
Reasonable price for LOF service and i was so impressed with the process they use. After the service was done the shop manager went over the service making sure fluid levels were correct, no leak were present, and all fill caps were in place.
I brought my 2006 truck in for a fuel injector fix, after paying $7000 for a rod, head, and cylinder replacement because apparently it got destruction when my number 3 injector went out. 2 weeks later I got the truck back and I went to work. 4 hours into my shift my engine locked up, so I had it towed back to the shop where they proceeded to tell me that it wasn't their fault and that they fixed the original problem I took it in for, and that it was a separate issue on why my engine locked up and wanted to charge my all over again to "fix" the new issue. Don't trust this place to do major work on your truck, they don't have any integrity and will pass blame to avoid having to fix issues they may have caused. Beware!!!!!!
I stopped here to get a check engine light diagnosed. Shawn quickly pulled up the trouble codes. I didn’t have the time to wait (a day or two), so, he gave me a copy of the diagnostic to take to my mechanic at home . He was very generous and I am glad I stopped here! The shop was very clean and organized. The yard was asphalt, not the usual dusty potholed gravel at many independent shops. Thank you again!
I recently had a disappointing experience with The Truck Shop while getting repairs done on my trailer. The manager, Shawn was incredibly rude and unprofessional throughout the process.
Not only was the customer service severely lacking, but I also felt like I was taken advantage of in terms of labor costs. The final bill was much higher than expected with no clear explanation for the increase.
Requested estimate was never received.
Nobody authorised the work but they started working knowing it won’t be approved.
Overall, I would not recommend this for trailer repairs due to their poor customer service and questionable pricing practices.
Was charged $700.00 ( 5 hrs ) labor for replacing 1 air bag and 3 way air valve. Rediculous!!!!
Excellent Shop. Awesome Service Manager, Staff and Mechanics. They immediately troubleshoot my truck issue identified my problem and fixed. Customer service outstanding. I was informed about my truck every step during the diagnostic process. Took the time to show me my problem and how they were going to fix it. Thank you Truck Shop.
If you are considering the Truck Shop or another location, I would go elsewhere. After speaking to the manager at that time, I brought a 1986 camper to the Truck Shop that had the engine replaced (with 40,000-50,000 miles on it). My plan was to get make sure everything was running correctly and to have a thorough inspection on the camper before investing money renovating the interior and repainting the exterior. The service shop and manager kept an open dialogue with me and I agreed to all of the repairs and improvements recommended to me. When the camper was ready, I paid my bill in full and drove it off the lot only to have it overheat and shut down no less than 3 minutes after driving it away. The Truck Shop towed it back to their lot, but there was no further communication about what happened to the camper or what a repair plan would be. Fast forward to new management under Shawn Middlebrook who called and had no assessment of the issues or what happened to the camper. After much dialogue and a polite request for him to pay to tow the vehicle to Richmond where someone would properly assess and fix the vehicle that was rendered unusable after being serviced by The Truck Shop, he was incredibly rude and refused to cover any tow costs and threatened to call the sheriff if the camper was not removed from the lot. When I asked for service records, he did not send them to me. When I asked him what was wrong with the vehicle, he was not able to tell me and he told me that I should have taken it up with the manager that no longer works there. He also said that none of the service people currently working at the Truck Shop were working there when the vehicle was serviced and allowed to be driven off the lot even though no one test drove it prior to allowing me drive it off the lot.
Given this lack of professionalism and poor customer service, I would strongly consider another business to provide service to your vehicles.
Best of luck with your repair needs! If you go with the Truck Shop, hopefully everything is seamless and you don't experience the same issues with having your vehicle broken beyond repair and no accountability by their team.
This shop works on our food pantry's 24' International straight reefer truck and our 24' Freightliner straight reefer truck. They try to fix our trucks that day - sometimes while I wait. Tim does his best to present real time lines on repairs, however getting parts these days can be unpredictable which is totally out of his control. I have been impressed with the mechanics and staff. They are very nice people to work with on getting our trucks repaired, and they are very experienced and professional with great knowledge. We even towed one truck to another shop who had it sitting for 3 months, and then we towed it to the truck shop in the evening, and they started working on it the very next day. We have found our big truck shop. They only do federal inspections - no state inspections and they don't have computers for smaller trucks. They specialize in the larger trucks. We are well pleased!
Always does great work and quick and timely manner never kept my truck longer than 2 days! Dealership will keep truck a week before even working on it and only diagnosing it, not the truck shop! Bring truck to these guys tell em the issues or what needs to be fixed they have they look at your rig and get right on the job!
