I needed a new battery for my Tahoe. Called the store & Dave said they'd get it in for me in about half an hour. The price for AGM Battery was better than any competitor including some that were just acid. Got there & Dave did an incredible job. Should've done a YouTube video of his work! Unbelievable service and effort from Jeremy. Alternator was going out on the interstate, traveling with our hockey team from Roanoke back to VA Beach. I had nothing and was in and out within 40mn. Good parts with good prices that will get you out of a pinch. The workers behind the counter can track down just about any car part, and sometimes get parts for things other than vehicles. Fair amount of parts in stock and usually if you need a special order it can be there in 1 to 2 days.
My aunt and I were on a road trip from Ohio to NC when we started having car trouble in Virginia. It was close to 7pm when we were looking for a place to go to try to get some help. I called this store and explained we were close but didn't know if we would make it before closing and asked if they were willing to stay just a few minutes later for us. Not only were they willing to stay, they also came out and checked a couple things for us to see if there was anything more they could do. I know by 7pm I'm ready to go home.... These guys were absolutely wonderful, didn't try to rush us at all, checked what they could, recommended what they could, (and the recommendations were only $10 and $15) even put the stuff in the car for us. I cannot say how thankful and appreciative we are for them. I wish I knew these gentleman's names to give them the personal credit they deserve. This happened on Thursday, July 23, 2015. Thank you guys for all your help and just for being the wonderful people you are!!! This store should be proud of their employees!!!
Our battery gave out after we filled our car up, leaving us stranded at the Farm Fresh service station in Norge VA on Christmas Eve. We've been customers of Carquest in Toano for years, so we called them and they ran a new battery out to us before they closed for the holiday. Thank you, Carquest, for continuing to be the best. You're number 1 in our book!
