This is a wonderful, intimate setting. We went to see the D.C. Anthem singers and they were phenomenal. My only complaint is that the seating in the balcony is a bit cramped.
I photographed Nicole and John’s stunning fall wedding here, and I highly recommend this venue! The red barn provided a beautiful and rustic backdrop for their day, and its three distinct rooms offered so much versatility for the celebration. The ceremony and reception spaces were warm and inviting, and the high ceilings and exposed beams created a timeless, elegant charm. From the vibrant outdoor scenery to the cozy interiors, everything photographed beautifully. This venue is truly a gem for couples looking for a rustic yet elegant wedding experience!

I Love the Barns; Great spot for Winter Concerts. Acoustics are wonderful. HOWEVER… What’s with the Chairs? Coming to see Del McCoury but I don’t see any standing/dancing area. This is the Barns of WolfTrap that used to be open area, correct? Filene is the Seated Venue.
The Barns at Wolf Trap was the most stunning venue for our October 2025 wedding! The background could not have been more perfect for our Celtic themed wedding. It is gorgeous, historical, and brought our dream wedding to life! Laura and her team were wonderful to work with, they made the process extremely easy, were very informative, and ensured every little detail was perfect for our day. It is such a naturally beautiful space that you barely need any decor and provides such a fun space to host an incredible party in! Our guests were thought the venue was amazing and we were so pleased with the Barns at Wolf Trap!
One of my favorite venues to catch a show. The staff handles parking and concessions with grace, making the experience that much better. Can't wait to see Trombone Shorty next month!
Wonderful recent Duane Betts show at The Barns, one of the region's best venues for sure...he's a very talented performer of both his own music and a couple from his dad Dickey's band The Allman Brothers.
I saw Rick Wakeman there last year. While the legendary artist put on an excellent show, the show was only about 90 minutes long. This year I saw the Del McCoury at The Barns. The show was beyond excellent, however just before the encore of Del's 90 minute show, Del makes the comment "Y'all don't have a curfew around here do ya?" It seemed to me like he would have liked to have played a longer set. I sure would have felt a lot better about both shows had they been longer. Come on Barns of Wolf Trap! Let the artist play a good long set! Not sure I'll be back for another show I felt robbed both times!
Really love it. Excellent venue. Intimate. Not a bad seat from balcony to the front rows. Go see a musician there. Any musician. If you enjoy the arts you will not be disappointed. Fun drinks. Good food too. Plenty of time to eat ahead with doors open early. Hard to get a table but make friends or stand or wait and eventually room opens up before the show. Food comes out very fast to support getting to your seats. Small venues like this the artists also come out to shake hands and say hi to everyone. It's a special place and the performance shows and guests know it too. Enjoy.
Saw Old Dominion here about eight years ago (right before they blew up) and it was an incredibly intimate venue. We happened to be standing right next to the lead singer’s mom the whole show and got to chat it up with her. Great experience and hope to see more up and coming bands come through here!
What a pleasure seeing Rick Wakeman's final tour at The Barns. It was a chilly night, so the venue location was appreciated. Rick please return! We love your music and remain in awe of your talent!
All it is cracked up to be. The structure and wood paneling throughout create fantastic acoustics that are warm and full. The artists who play this beautiful venue are top notch from around the world as the Barns reputation precedes itself.
The dining area is just as lovely for a nice meal or quick snack before the show and the bar serves enough options for anyone to be satisfied.
I'm grateful we live so close so we can enjoy as often as possible.
After years of visiting Wolf Trap, we finally went to a show at the Barns. Pleasantly surprised, we enjoyed a drink at the adjacent bar/restaurant while awaiting the performance. It's a very nice "barn" and the sound was excellent. We sat up close, but I don't think there's a bad seat in the house.
Great music venue. Acoustics and visibility are perfect. Before the show enjoy the bar with a variety of beers and other drinks. I didn't avail myself of the food, but could see that many people did. The staff is very helpful and pleasant as well. An enjoyable evening all around.
It was our first time there. An impressive space for entertainment. Only 350 can attend. Its intimate atmosphere with the entertainers. Theres Wonderful acoustics with a rural feeling since your sitting in a refurbished Barn. Casual dining is available with a bar for drinks. Service was fast, the food was good and a little pricey. All on all, a very good value. If you haven't been to The Barns, give it a try, you'll be glad you did.
Barnes at Wolf trap has a great auditorium for a musical concert. The hall is small and gives you great feeling. You don't need to have paper tickets anymore and they can scan your digital tickets at the door.
They also have nice cafeteria where you can enjoy snacks and drinks. They allowed us to take drink inside the auditorium as well which was a bonus.
There one downside to this place which is restroom. During the halftime, there was a big line as there is only 1 restroom. I hope they can fix this issue soon.
I was very impressed with this venue. First it is aesthetically magnificent, especially inside. There is ample parking for what the venue holds, which is quite a novelty for most music venues. The Barn serves a small menu of appetizers+ type fare. Although I did not have any, it looked pretty good. The acoustics inside the Barn are perfect for mid-range type music. I doubt they would have a rock concert in here but it is perfect for classical or folk music. Overall, a great experience.
Great venue for live music! Not knowing what to expect, we arrived early. The health check station was really fast. Prior to arriving I completed my check on the Clear app and my wife had a photo of her vaccine card.
After the health check, we were able to get some drinks and sit in the Cafe before the concert started. The food and drink prices were more "movie theater" type prices than "Ritz Carlton Resort" prices.
The seating was not as cramped as I expected and the sound engineer did a great job with the acoustics. Definitely looking forward to going again.
We saw a small performance here. The venue is beautiful and the sound is great. It is a nice intimate space but the chairs are quite uncomfortable. The food was also mediocre and overpriced as you would expect. Ticket prices were reasonable.
Amazing venue with great parking. Lots isn't huge but it's very easy to get in and out of. The seating was all flat, but a great view from all around. The sound was just fantastic.
