I had a puncture in my tire yesterday 12/15 and I stopped by at 4PM. They were able to fix my tire and I was back on the road by 4:15 PM. These days is difficult to find people willing to help without an appointment so I am very grateful for the quick and efficient service.
My car was vibrating badly while I was driving. I called Heath’s Tire & Lube and they told me I could bring my car in the next morning to have it checked out. They quickly found the problem. My front tire was so worn that the wires were showing, and it was just a matter of time before it blew out.
They replaced both front tires and now my car drives smooth again. Matt printed a couple tire options and explained the differences, and I went with his recommendation. I’m glad I did.

When we arrived at Smith Mountain Lake after towing a camper for five hours, we realized that we had a serious problem with the rear brakes on our truck. Not knowing anything about the area or anyone in the area, we asked at a local convenience store "where should we go to have our brakes repaired?" We were told to go to Heath's Tire & Lube in Moneta. We arrived at Heath's around 9:00 am and the lady behind the counter told us that she didn't know if they could get to us because they were very busy. We told her our situation and asked if someone could just take a look see what the problem was. They worked us in, found the problem, ordered parts, and had the repairs done by 12:00 noon.
Clearly do not know what they're doing. Broke off a lug while changing tires. Was quoted 120 for mounting and balancing, 100 for labor on new lug. 15 for tire disposal bill was 607$ highway robbery!
When we were heading to NC we realized that one of our tires was low. We stoped by Heath’s Tire shop to get it checked and within 10 minutes a very nice mechanic took care of it and fixed the problem! See the picture below. Everyone was professional and friendly. Thank you!
I made an appt at 9 am for two new tires, I made this early appt so I could be to work on time. My car wasn’t pulled back till almost 10am… no big deal, I understand things happen. But I was almost two hours late for work, and time is money.
I noticed when I got back in my car, everything had been flipped.. including a console drink holder with a drink in it. When I finally get to work, I go to open my convertible top and it won’t open. I call over there and they tell me all they did was change the tires (but they had to open my convertible top to get my old tire out) so I knew they were the last to operate the convertible. I call back over there and I get the run around, a young kid gets on the phone and ask me if I know where the button is to retract the top (Ummmm yes sir I do… that’s what’s not working) he was condescending and hung up on me. Took my car back the next day and when I got it back there’s a tear in my convertible top and all my fuses were thrown in the front seat… my cig lighter (charger) no longer works…. All this for two front tires! And they made me feel like it was my FAULT!!!
The work they have done for me in the past 6 months has been ok, sometimes I have to go and have them fix something they messed up while working on original issue, but my last visit there I felt like they were not completely honest with me and over charged me ( on the labor ) Long story, but I told them I would not be back , and he said okay have a great day . I guess they really don’t care .
I have never had anything less than 5-star service from this company. They care about your time and money and go above and beyond to make sure everything is taken care of correctly. They are always my first call for any auto problem!
Very disappointed with this shop. After being a customer for a while (thinking who can you trust around here with your car), I brought my car in to replace an axel, and check if a caliper is stuck. They call and inform me the caliper is in fact stuck and I need a new caliper, and both side pads and rotors. 500$ later, I go get my car and the warning lights on the dashboard are still on so I ask why. After hooking my car to the computer they say my abs sensor is bad ( the right side, opposite of bad caliper). After I left, the receptionist calls me to apologize for the mechanics poor handling of my business and said he was embarrassed for the company. He said he would speak to Scott (the owner) when he returns. After waiting 5 days he calls me back to tell me I can purchase the part and they would install for free, however I need a new assembly hub. I said well last week it was just the sensor so how is it the whole assembly now without you even seeing my vehicle. ( my opinion the mechanic broke my abs sensor while installing new pad and rotor and they don’t want to take accountability so they’re saying the whole assembly was bad which was a flat out lie!!!!!!) had it hooked up to a computer myself and it is just in fact the sensor which I firmly believe they broke upon install. Which is a much cheaper part to replace than the whole assembly. very disappointing and will never return nor recommend this place.
Heath tire & lube made sure my Acura was on the road in 3 hours vs days. For that I am forever grateful.
We had a tire blowout on the Blue Ridge Parkway on Sunday, Mothers day. We had our vehicle towed to Heaths Sunday night.
Monday morning we were at their garage & Mr Scott Heath told us he sent his wife to Roanoke to obtain a perfect match to the other 3 tites on our vehicle. This act saved us several hours of down time.
His wife arrived, with the new tire by 12:30 & we were on our way by 1:30. This was no small feat as Mrs Heath took time out of her busy schedule as a new mother with a toddler & an infant. Mr. Heath gave priority to our vehicle because he knew we were traveling.
He was knowledgeable, efficient-above what we expected & very fairly priced.
I would recommend this business & this service because they went above what anyone expects a business to do.

I called for tires and got an appointment the next day. I was charged exactly what they quoted me. The service was fast and friendly. They didn't do any damage to my BMW wheels! I definitely recommend this shop and I will definitely be back when I need more care for my car! Thank you guys for an easy, seamless experience!
Heath's has taken care of me twice over the past month. Oil change then brakes. The entire process both times went seamlessly. They were efficient, courteous, and charged what they quoted. The shop and waiting area are very clean. I will definitely continue to be a customer.
Took my freshly powder coated BMW wheels to have tires mounted. Asked them to be super careful. They damaged and scratched all four and then overcharged me!
Don’t let them touch your car! They suck!!!

Sitting here in the lobby waiting for my four tires to be replaced. Also was told by the dealership I needed new brakes. Watched the lady at the desk work very hard to help save $100 dollars for a customer by ordering a less expensive tire than they had in stock, and then watched them tell another customer that a screw had not punctured the tire and she was fine. She asked how much she owed for the check, and they said nothing. Then she asked me “who told you that you needed brakes? You have more than half a pad left and your rotors are fine.” Just impressed how honest and nice they were.
Found a tire leak as we’re about to leave out of state. Stopped by and the gentleman in the shop fixed the flat within 10 minutes. We were on our way quickly. Thank you
We were very fortunate to come across Heath's shortly after moving here. Had a good feeling the first time I took a vehicle there and they didn't disappoint. Sadly, finding a mechanic you can fully trust isn't always easy. These people are great.
Came here for new tires mounted and where I also discovered outer tie rods that needed replaced. I'm very please with this shop. From Mary to the techs in boh, everyone is extremely nice and knows what they're doing. The best part is, they won't try to upsell you just to make more money (which I'm sure a lot of views of auto shops include). In my experience, they tell you what they recommend needs replacing but won't pressure or scare you into it. Highly recommend this place for all things auto maintenance. I'll definitely be coming here for anything I need done that I can't do myself on my cars.
Had a screw in my tire on vacation; they were the first firm in the area to pick up the phone when I called, and invited me to bring it in for a plug as a drop in. Immediately got to work on the tire and I was in and out in 15 minutes for a fair price. Very helpful and kind; thankful that they were available.
First time ever stopping there. Desperately looking to get state inspection. Employee was outside and very nicely explained they didn't have anyone at the time to do them. I WOULD GO back there if I needed service, only because the guy was nice enough to stop what he was doing to talk to me instead of just rushing me off.
My husband and I have been customers of Heath’s for over a year, and find them to be reasonable for their services and most accommodating. Their work is thorough, their staff is very professional and they take a special interest in any procedure, whether it be small or complicated. I took my van to Heath today to have a leaking tire plugged. They repaired my tire ok, but when I pulled out to come home, I had no brakes. SCARY.
I cant prove that they damaged my vehicle. But they let me go out on the road, knowing that I had braking issues. They even later admitted to knowing there was a problem with my brakes after they pulled it out of their shop, and they let me drive off anyway!!! These folks don't deserve a single star, and I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!!! My brakes were working fine when I pulled into their lot.
Also overtightened my lug nuts. Impossible to remove wheel with conventional tire changing tools.
These folks are the best of the best. When a local competitor emphasized my need for brakes I took their advice. I called around for pricing and Heaths was the best. I took my car there and received a call that I in fact didn’t need brakes. Heath’s is the most ethical and honest car repair around! Highly recommend!
