Most professional and honest mechanics i have known more than 20 years. They do not charge for fix imaginary vehicle issues. They charge reasonable for repairs. Very welcoming Family Business... Veyeran Owned.????
Was traveling to UVA to have surgery the next day and my truck was spitting fuel out the exhaust. I called Calvin and he said come on in. Was very nice to see me last minute even though he had oil changes and inspections scheduled. His son checked it out but it was too involved to fix that day. I had a friend who offered me his truck to make the trip so “limped “ to his house. But, just want to say how nice it was of them to try? Thank you!
I needed to put a tire on a rim after having a blowout on the freeway. The big name shops refused to do it as they don't want to be held liable if anything happens in the future with that tire. They will only put on new tires. But Calvin Smith Garage took care of me and put my tire (which is still in good condition) on the rim after removing the damaged tire. Thanks!
These guys are absolutely amazing!! They will fit you in on the day you call out of the blue, which I've had to do twice now for emergencies. They will look at your car at that time, they will be FAIR and HONEST and they ALWAYS go above and beyond! You do not need to worry about them screwing you over, or telling you they'll have your car ready and it's not or selling you something you don't need! Can't say enough good things about these guys!!

Calvin Smith's garage they were great towing my truck to pinkerton's which set for 3 days they couldn't fix it so Calvin Smith's garage code is the Nissan which only took them a couple of hours to fix it the Calvin Smith garage was real good about everything
Close to town and not too far off the beaten track. They towed my damaged car and had it stored until I had it picked up. No surprises, except cash only payment.
This garage has helped our family tremendously since we moved here seven years ago. Between all the family members and all their cars, we've had over ten cars cared for by them. They are knowledgeable, expert, fair and give the best prices. They tell you when there is something they cannot do, and will refer to someone who can. Will never go anywhere else!! Trustworthy.
It's hard to find a mechanic that you can trust to take your automobile to for repairs I find my experience here will keep me coming back. Very good customer service
I called many places to tow my vehicle that had a broken bearing and was in an accident. The vehicle could not be moved due to a tire laying on its side, it was in a tight space as far as a tow truck getting to it, yet they were able to pick up with no problems no questions asked, and no hassle whatsoever on my end! I truly wouldn't call anyone but this garage or any towing services!
incompetent..... for a one word description. unfriendly and and inconvenient. Had a breakdown and got it towed there not knowing about them. took over a day to just "look" at it and then it was their best "guess" as to what was wrong. Unsatisfied with being asked to pay 2 grand for their best guess we decided to have the car towed elsewhere. We attempted to pay over the phone only to find out that they only accept cash payments. Cash only means no paper trail which means at minimum they are probably committing tax evasion or they are laundering money for drug dealers. Eventually they just left the phone off the hook because I assume they got tired of me asking questions. By far my worst shop experience ever. one star because I can't give zero
