We had a great experience with D and R collision shop. Dan was very personable, honest, and truly dedicated to making sure everything was handled the right way. Communication was prompt throughout the process, and he took the time to answer questions and keep us updated. Dan especially went out of his way to ensure we were taken care of, and his professionalism and kindness really stood out. It’s hard to find a shop that is both professional and trustworthy, but they definitely are. I highly recommend them to anyone needing collision repairs or body work.
Got a little squirrelly on the zero turn turned it into a bush hog/forestry mulcher needless to say I beat up the deck pretty bad. Took it by D&R to have them take a look at it. I explained that I beat this thing up pretty bad and always will he said he had a solution. Couldn’t have asked for better service. They did an absolute amazing job added some plate steele where needed re welded everything now it is better than new. Thank you.
Please don’t waste your time with this place. On top of taking a month and a half (the owner kept blaming GEICO, but now I see it was really D&R) and making me lose my rental because they took so long, they also did not do an alignment on my car after hitting a deer. I asked the owner why it wasn’t done and he once again blamed GEICO saying they didn’t tell D&R to do one. No accountability at all from the ownership of the establishment and lying to your customer to make you look better is pathetic. My car is veering off to the right so bad it will try to overcorrect while driving down the road. It’s shaking horribly. The only reason they’re getting one star is cause I actually got my car back.
I found this place to undent my SUV's right side doors and repaint them after a little fender bender. Dan was very communicative via text from the beginning and gave me a reasonable quote. When I picked up my car I couldn't even tell where the fender bender was, looked flawless! I highly recommend!
There aren't many tradesman you meet nowadays that take pride in their work the way that Dan does, as he should. He worked with me every step of the way to make sure I got what I wanted and he stood behind the quality of his work like no one I've ever seen. The paint job they did on my tank, front fender, and side panels for my motorcycle are show quality. This bike will be turning heads around forest and Lynchburg. Cannot reccomend these gentleman more.

These guys helped me out for a month with an insurance company that wasn't budging. They were patient & working with me everyday to get it resolved. Excellence is an understatement
D&R did an absolutely fantastic job repairing my car. They found damage that the insurance company missed and did not want to cover. D&R dealt with the headache of the insurance company to ensure my car was restored with all OEM parts. The fit and finish of the repair looks like it just came out of the factory. Hopefully, I never need a body shop again but if I do I will 100% choose D&R again.
If there was a 10/10 star rating this place is it. My front number got damaged and it looked minor but there was damage underneath, the looks brand new as if I bright it of the lot, they not only repair your car but they paint and wash it as well. Dan makes sure that you understand what’s going on at all times. They also really great witj insurance companies as well. D&R Collision Center is truly top-notch! Dan is absolutely amazing incredibly helpful, honest, and patient throughout the entire process. He goes above and beyond to make sure you understand what’s going on with your vehicle and never makes you feel rushed. Their prices are very fair, and the service is impressively quick without sacrificing quality.
One thing that really sets them apart is that they’re one of the only places open on weekends, which makes getting repairs done so much easier. Their communication is excellent, too — they keep you updated every step of the way and make everything feel stress-free.
