We were referred to A+ by Frieze Automotive when our transmission was making very sad noises and leaking. From our first call, Jackson was so friendly and kind, working to get us in as soon as possible. When we dropped the car off, they completed a comprehensive inspection - and while it yielded lots of bad news for our wallet, it was honest and informative. Hector took the time to walk me through what the issues were, what the next steps were, and my options. We went forward with the full repair and replacements needed. Jackson called me again (two days earlier than I anticipated) and said they were completing final inspections. They were so thorough and kind. I felt like I was working with my brother, I was getting fair and honest work, and they were truly advocating for me. Their communication was excellent all around. At the end I told Jackson it was like visiting a hospital - everyone was great, it was a pleasure to meet you, but I hope to not be here again. :) That said, if you need ANY transmission support, PLEASE GO SEE Jackson, Hector, and crew at A+!

As a female I dread having to take my car to a shop especially for anything big but the guys at this shop are amazing. Very respectful gentleman who helped me get my car back up and going. They definitely went above and beyond and I highly recommend them.

Hector and Jackson were great. Within 24 hours I was in and out with a free inspection and diagnosis. Luckily, the problem was not my transmission. The men were honest about it and sent me to a general repair shop were the issue was resolved for several hundred dollars. This is the second time I've taken a car to A Plus and definitely would recommend!

In spite of another repair shop diagnosis I felt it was important to get a second opinion. I found out my transmission was perfect and that the transaxle and transmission mount causing the issue. Thank you

Just had my GMC transmission rebuilt. Their team did an amazing job and my car is running smooth as butter! Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. They explained everything and went above and beyond. I really feel this is a place you can trust, Everything from what they recommend to the quality of work they provide.

This shop is not trustworthy. I took my truck in to get the filter and fluid changed on my transmission along with the front and rear differential and they gave it back to me and lied about doing some of the work. The pan on the transmission showed zero signs of being removed to change filter and they told me they wouldn’t touch the rear end because it was wet which was fine but I asked if they checked the fluid level and they lied saying it’s impossible without opening it which isn’t true… there’s a plug to check it. I took it to another shop and had them check everything and I’m having to pay for another transmission job done right. Don’t trust Jackson and this shop.. I’ll never use A+ again…. More like F-

2019 Chevy traverse transmission 60k service, great price and great service! 1/2 the price that an inspection / oil change location had quoted me for the work. When I have transmission issue I go to A+ transmission! Thank you!

I had such great service at A Plus! Hector and Jackson really did a good job of keeping me informed. They completed a repair I requested that no one else would attempt without a complete transmission replacement. The repair has been successful and I am hoping to get a few more miles from this vehicle!! The price was fair and something I could afford. Thank you guys.

I recently had an issue with the knob on my transmission lever — it would sometimes lock up, preventing me from shifting the car into Drive or Reverse. I brought my car to A+ Transmission, where Hector and Jackson were very helpful throughout the process. Jackson quickly diagnosed the problem as a faulty brake light switch. He guided me on where to get the replacement part (O’Reilly or AutoZone) and even provided the manufacturer part number over the phone. Once I got the part, Jackson installed it right away, and the issue was completely fixed. Their professionalism, clear communication, and genuine willingness to help really stands out. I truly appreciate their expertise and friendly customer service — I highly recommend A+ Transmission to anyone looking for skilled, reliable and trustworthy service.

It's a good place. They do a very good job hard to find a good place. This is a good one. Make your appointment, they'll let you know what they're gonna do. And then they'll do it and you'll be happy.

Hector, Paul, and the rest of the team here have raised the bar for customer experience far above anything I’ve seen before. Originally I called in after receiving a quote on a used transmission from another shop. Hector was extremely knowledgable, guessed(correctly) at what failed on my vehicle and gave me a full rebuild estimate very close to what the used swap would’ve cost. In the days following he worked with me to secure financing beforehand to ensure we didn’t hit a snag after the work had been done. Monday evening I had my car towed there, Tuesday morning they had the transmission already broken down with pictures sent to me explaining the repair. Wednesday morning, Hector mentioned they were only waiting on parts…then 4 hours later I get a call to come pick it up! Not only does the technician that worked on my car, Paul, likely have a time machine with how fast he put the components together; the car now drives 10 orders of magnitude better than when it was brand new. If anyone even suspects an issue with your transmission, take it to this shop. They treat everyone like family and do everything in their power to get you back on the road stress free.

I brought my 2016 Chevy Silverado 1500 LTZ in for route transmission fluid change. I arrived at my scheduled appointment time. They took my vehicle into the bay a few minutes after. Had it done in less time than I was told. Also the gentleman at the front desk gave me some really good information about my truck. Very knowledgeable. Price was great. I live in Pflugerville. It was most definitely worth the drive to get the service done there. When my torque converter starts acting funny. I will be taking it to these guys. I appreciate y'all!

If I could give 10 stars to A+ Transmissions (Cedar Park), I would! Jackson and Hector were PHENOMENAL with customer service, knowledge, honesty, kindness and trustworthiness. I came in for what I thought would be a routine transmission drain & fill for my 2017 Infiniti Q50, however, they found another issue with the "transfer box" that needed addressing that would delay the need for the drain & fill service. The price was VERY fair for what they did today in shop. They explained the issue and let me know at what mileage to come back once they priced out the "transfer box" repair. I have to say, as a female customer who's not well-versed in the auto industry and typically took my car into the dealership for service, but that can get overly expensive QUICKLY! I am BEYOND appreciative of the upfront honesty these two gentlemen presented. I HIGHLY recommend A+ Transmissions (Cedar Park)!

If I could give 10 stars I would! The ONLY reason someone would go somewhere else is because they don’t know about these guys! They are the epitome of a true mechanic shop that CARES about their customers. They want to do right by their customers no matter what. Jackson the manager stands by his guys work and if they need to take a second look or pivot to do the right thing that’s just what they are going to do to make sure you drive home safe and sound! I had a really great experience the manager I believe Jackson is his name was outstanding. He helped me all around and showed me and told me different things that I needed for my transmission and was real knowledgeable and the price was really fair if I have any issues with the transmission or if I know someone that has issue with the transmission I’ve definitely will refer them to you guys. Ok firstly I would like to thank Jackson, he went above and beyond on helping me through the stress of a possible transmission repair. Secondly, when the repair ended up being something ridiculous (apparently my car goes into limp mode if the fob battery starts to go out…like What?!) he didn’t try to upsell me at all. We both got a chuckle out of it and he even didn’t charge me for the new battery for the fob. Would definitely recommend them for any transmission work, and if it is ever actually my transmission causing issues, I will most certainly be taking my car back to them without hesitation! Cannot recommend A+ Transmission enough!

I’ve got to say that these guys are probably one of the little hidden secrets doing transmission work. The crew is very knowledgeable and have years of experience. If you have a BMW this is the place you want to come and get your transmission and Differential fluids changed. Their prices are more than fair. Awesome crew.

Jackson was amazing and explained the whole process to me on the repair of my truck, he was kind and even took time to just chat and listen to my concerns. He explained what parts were needed and where they get parts from, which was a well known aftermarket solution for my transmission. They send pics of your transmission and recommend what components need replaced. Communication was outstanding and they only had my truck for a couple of days and I got a total new transmission. Truck feels better than new now and I highly recommend A Plus for your transmission issues. Thanks for being straightforward and honest on my repair.

I had an excellent experience with A Plus Transmission! I took both my vehicles to have a drain and fill. They did exactly what I wanted (no flush). They didn't try to sell me on repairs or anything else that wasn't necessary. As a woman, it's easy to be taken advantage of by mechanics. I'd say one of the few honest mechanics left around. They definitely have me as a customer in the future.
