Don't buy batteries for motorcycles here, I bought 3 batteries in last 3 years, every year i have to replace, they dont cover warranty every time with different reasons.

Above and beyond level of customer service. Both workers there, Maggie and Deandre went out of there way look up how to properly address my key fob issues for my new car. Can't recommend them enough.

I visited this location because it was conveniently on my way home. I needed a coin battery for my key fob as well as 9-volt batteries, both of which I couldn't find at HEB. The salesperson who helped me was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Since the store was organized and labeled by sections, I was able to quickly find the batteries I needed. The salesperson was easy to talk to and appreciative for my business. I will definitely return to this location for all my battery needs.

Terrible services dishonest representation or battery warrant. Purchase battery in 2023 with a 5 year warranty . Started having issues with battery took it back to get tested. Told that the battery was dead they would not honor our warranty due to “Battery Abuse” no other explanation. This vehicle is a daily driver no excessive use.

My car let me know my key remote had a low battery. I was unable to get a hold of my husband so I remembered Batteries +. The help and information I received from Deaundre Manley was greatly appreciated. I paid far less for the battery replacement than I would have at a dealership. Best of all the battery is guaranteed for life...thanks

I went in to buy a portable battery to power my stereo system to do DJ gigs on the road. Maggie helped me find a perfect unit that has a lifetime warranty and she did a price match for me. I highly recommend this place for any of your battery needs.

I came to the store by recommendation looking for a car battery, didn’t realize this was the place I should have been going. James was super helpful and knowledgeable with the limited information I had. I also ended up stocking up on some high-quality accessories for my personal business while there!

Maggie was fantastic! She went above and beyond to help me find exactly what I needed and took the time to explain everything clearly. She was patient, knowledgeable, and friendly, which made the whole experience stress-free. You can tell she genuinely cares about her customers. If you go to Batteries Plus, definitely ask for Maggie—she’ll take great care of you!

They have a female that chooses to be a smartass rather than sell batteries so I went elsewhere where I was treated with respect. Unbelievable what is left in the hiring pool that someone actually hired this person to talk to customers. Too bad because I USED to buy all my batteries here but Auto Zine was happy to take my money and they were friendly and helpful. 9/15/25 9:30 AM

Went over there to return some batteries and I got met with a rude manager telling me I couldn’t return them because they were opened. When I had first purchased them I was told i could still return them as long as I opened the package neatly enough for them to put it back together. If I was first told about their return policy and how terrible the customer service was I wouldn’t have bothered buying anything there at all and save myself the trouble and money.

A little disappointed in this store. Have been getting all my unique batteries from here for quite a while. i.e. golf cart batteries, key fob batteries, etc. However, went by to get a price on a key fob and they are wanting $450 for the fob and $70 to cut the key. $520 WOW! I knew instantly that was way too MUCH so I came home and called the first place and the same one was $200. Online I can find them even less expensive. This would have been a one star review but they have been good in the past so that is why the 3 star.

I never knew batteries plus did phone repairs. Mine was a mess. Broken screen and it started to flash on the bottom half. They basically rebuilt it and had it ready in an hour. I was surprised. So from the time I dropped it off, I was back getting it in 1 hour I should say. Looks brand new and works flawless. Saved me feom buying a new phone which would have been double. Anyway, the guys there were all super friendly and extremely helpful and upbeat. I have had watch batteries replaced there in the past and their prices were very low. They have every battery there you can imagine. It is my go to spot now.

One of the Worst customer service experienced. Went to purchase 2 heavy duty Duracell, 18 wheeler batteries ( purchased at the same location 3 years ago and multiple other things ) walked into store and said "hello how's it going"...no response but an eye roll from a woman and the other employee just looked with no response. We had 3 cores to replace and the woman helping said she can't take it back it wasn't purchased at her store. ( we just had to replace 1 battery from the Temple location ) she then said she's corporate and that the Temple location franchise store so she can't help out. Not much of a back-and-forth I have my receipt and will return it in Temple. After spending $384.85 Never to return to this location again. My suggestion is that general, district, cooperate manager reevaluate their staff, and who they have representing their company as a whole. Speak with your management on customer service and how to engage properly with customers even if you're not having a good day. This is so disheartening especially since we've spent multiple years and thousands of dollars with this company . Hope y'all can do better!

Update: The new battery I bought from here lasted about a month... read 6 volts on my MM... no misuse, no tampering, no fault to the machine it was placed in (verifiably so..no draws.. nothing). I brought it in and the woman? manager mentioned warranty is null if it reads under some oddly set voltage... mine was well below having read 6 volts... which is borderline fraud for a battery that was defective or most likely had internal damage to a cell or cells. They took it overnight to "charge it" as a 'favor' to me... I am quite sure swapped it out for another battery... near guarantee it. Not the forget I never received a call to pick it up the next day or the following... so I reached out and had to verify it was ready. She claimed she called but I have records there was never a single call via phone records or my call log itself. Be careful and pay with a card you know will protect you if needs be. Dodgy practices and unreliable products, on top of a secretive front store staff when confronted with problems and a angsty manager.

Horrible customer service by the General manager. I bought an Extreme 12v 10A 2 weeks ago from another location and the battery has already failed. The Manager continued interrupting me while I was speaking and when I asked her for the same respect and space I’d given her to talk she rolled her eyes. I went back to the location I purchased the battery from and they said this woman is known for poor customer service and is also known to cuss at other customers. I will not be doing business with this location at all and am considering not doing business with this company as a whole given I took proper care of the battery and it still failed. I am currently waiting to see if I can warranty it out. I will update my review as I find out more info. As of now I’d heavily encourage buying a battery from a reputable company such as Shorai or Antigravity.

Recycling Fee Disappointment This location used to accept batteries for recycling at no charge and no questions. I was in there last week to drop off two small lithium batteries for recycling and was told I would have to pay $4.50. They are now charging for recycling by the pound. $4.50 is the minimum charge for the first pound. My batteries were about 1 oz total. I complied and paid the $4.50. I won't do it again. There is an orange hardware store nearby that still accepts them for free. I will take them there, along with my shopping.

Their website advertises light bulb recycling at this location. I drive 30 minutes to recycle. They tell me they are full (seriously? I only had two bulbs), but gave me directions to another location that would take them. I drive 20 more minutes and then get the same story. Easily could have earned a customer, but instead lost one.

Had a X2 battery fail in less than a year. The manager was a bit condescending about how she could get it to work again, so the warranty didn’t matter and they wouldn’t credit the cost to a different battery. Once I said I didn’t care and wanted a different type of battery, she was easier to deal with. She does know her stuff, but still had to make a final dig that, “I was the only person to complain about the X2.” Got what I needed. Now I know not to get an X2 and not to go to this store.

I bought an aftermarket key fob replacement for my car. I did the work myself to replace the programmed chip but needed the key blank to be cut. I asked Jordan at batteries plus if they could do that, and said he was about 88% sure. He cut the key for me, and at first try it didn’t work in the ignition. He gave it a second cut and it still didn’t work yet. But before I left, I tried to wear down the key in the door lock. And on the third try it worked. I appreciate Jordan’s willingness to give it a try, no promises made. I’m especially happy that after all that I only paid $11. Jordan got me set to go with the new key.

Battery Plus did what AutoZone could not. I was back on the road within 20 minutes with a fully charged car battery. The battery was not an easy install, but the Battery Plus associate had the specs and tools to get it done! Thank you!

I purchased a battery an Odyssey in 2/2023 a year later the battery will not charge. After I inspect the battery i realize the battery was manufactured in 2017 so it was 6 years old on the date of purchase. I dropped the battery off in 5/2024 to have it warrantied i was told it would take 3-4 weeks to get a new one. So i called the store back in 3 weeks. I was told by the manager of the store that they where not going to warranty the battery or refund my money. I told her that was not going to work for me. So I contacted the Regional Sales person and they called me back and said they would warranty but it was going to take some time. 5 weeks later I get my battery. So I am 2 months without a battery moral of the story do not think just because they sell you a warranty that they will easily honor that warranty.

Never been here before but will be a reacurring customer from here on out. Came in looking for a good phone charger and Brianna helped me. She was awesome! Very knowledgeable and pleasant to talk to. Spoke well of the company and explained everything in the store is under warranty. It's rare nowadays to find great customer service like this. Will be comming here from here on out for any batteries/bulbs I need.

I started buying all of my vehicle batteries here two years ago in hopes of supporting a specialty store. Unfortunately when one started having issues, they failed to honor their own warranty process. Despite the policy stating they would have two days to work on a battery during a claim, they held mine for six days. I called repeatedly to check and was told by an employee the battery had failed. When I came to pick it up, he said he had just tested it again, and it was fine. Very suspicious. Generally bad customer service throughout the process and very disappointed they would not honor their warranty. I will never use them again.

I brought a mini flashlight in that was not working with a brand new battery. Kevin went out of his way to find the issue completing the circuit. So he fixed my flashlight, woo-hoo! I always get excellent custer service when I bring my business here.

My motorcycle battery died. It was an old style flooded lead acid type and the fluid was below the fill line. I bought an AGM replacement. Works great!

My iPhone 11 battery needed replacement immediately, and Batteries Plus was the only place around that was willing to schedule me an appointment on short notice. The cost was a little more than other repair places, but you get what you pay for. I was able to schedule a convenient appointment time online very easily. The staff inside the store were very friendly and and super helpful. They replaced my iPhone battery quickly, in about an hour. My phone was returned to me in the same condition in which it was received. They did a great job. I also needed an obscure 23A battery to operate a remote for a ceiling fan. You can’t find them at the grocery store. Not only did Batteries Plus have them in stock, they were reasonably priced. I now have enough to replace batteries for all the ceiling fan remotes in my house. I’m very happy with my customer experience at Batteries Plus, and I would definitely shop there again.
