After calling another place and them never showing up at the scheduled time (then trying to negotiate a reschedule), I decided to reach out to Capitol Junk Cars. Richard contacted me back within 5-10 minutes after I filled out the online form and was so polite and courteous. He asked a few questions, made an offer, and said a driver would be here to pick up the car within the next hour to hour and a half. Richard picked up the car and we had cash in hand within 1.5 hours of our initial conversation. It was difficult to see the car go (so many memories!!), but he made the process easy, smooth, fast, and fair. I'd recommend this business ALL DAY! If we ever find ourselves with another junk car that we're looking to get rid of, we know who to call. Thank you SO much for making this a wonderful and painless experience! :-)

Richard arrived and picked up my car promptly the same day I called! I was super surprised how kind and polite he was. He loaded up my car and put cash in my hand and my old car was brisked away. Ill miss it, but it was time to set my old car free. I highly recommend Capitol Junk if you have an old car you need taken off your hands.

This experience was quick and easy! They were very helpful in how to get my car out of the towing yard, which was a nightmare when dealing with the towing company. They were so nice and explained everything, even called his competitor (and gave me the name so I could call myself) to ensure he was giving me a fair price for my car. After calling a few different companies about getting rid of a car that I had since 2008, I stumbled on Capital Junk Car Buyers. Richard was wonderful, polite, kind and very helpful. He told me he had a driver in the area and they would call me when they were on the way. 30 minutes later the driver called, arrived timely and was extremely polite. From the time I placed the call to the car being picked up was a little over an hour, cash in had! Saturday service. Called them around 10:15am, answered a few basic questions about the car I wanted to salvage. I indicated brand new tires, new starter, body in good condition--seized engine. They gave me a ballpark figure over the phone I felt was fair. They were on site just over an hour later. They came out to look at the car and did not try to reneg on their offer. In fact, they noted some favorable things and provided the higher end of their initial estimate. Good people, good offers, and the whole transaction was painless. I definitely recommend!
