I was Quoted one price after completing the job I was charged a different price $230.00 more than the Quoted price they tried to justify it by saying they had forgotten to Quote fuel and mileage. The competition would have done it for $100 less so sorry i chose them for the job

Awful, price gouging experience. Avoid at all cost. Driver, who was a nice guy, told me one price BEFORE they loaded up my car and once they dropped it off less than 10 minutes later, he passed me his phone to sign for a much higher, never agreed upon price that he said was set by his boss. He then called his boss who said he would impound my car (at this time it is in my driveway) if I did not agree and sign. Criminal.
This is most definitely a reliable spot. Answered quickly both times I called, were efficient with getting my information and it was just a pleasant and quick experience all around. Shout out to David in particular. Seriously the most down to earth truck driver I’ve run into. He went out of his way and put in effort to make my day that much easier. If you need a quick tow, this is the company.
David came to get me after my truck broke down coming home from the funeral home. It's been a rough day and he was prompt, courteous, professional and compassionate. I tried to start an agreement with this company to tow on my property. After almost a month of asking repeatedly for help and a little girl at the customer service line who kept telling me she couldn't help me and refused to give me the owners name....I finally gave up and went with someone who helped me same day. If you value your time....do not work with ATex towing because they absolutely don't value yours.
I'm sure having a tow isnt fun anyway you slice it most times but these guys did me a solid and was on top of it. David, my driver was good people. I own my own biz so having good people is hard to come by. David took care of business. Thanks man!! True Austinite.
We had a neighbor call to tow our car without proper reason or any authorization from our apartment complex. A-Tex came and towed my car without any questions or confirmation they were able to do so from proper authorities.
After we had to pay a drop fee, we called A-Tex to explain the situation. Prior to being hung up on - the extremely rude woman on the line stood by their actions without any apology and refused to help in any way. Very sketchy way to do business.
THANK YOU David & A-Tex Towing!! After 6 failed attempts to get a tow company to "tow out of a low clearance parking garage", David showed up WELL prepared.
He listened to the known issue (completely dead, cannot put in neutral) and got right to doing what he does! He was able to get my Honda Ridgeline out of the park garage after 5 days!
Finally, a tow company I will proudly recommend to one & all.

I encountered significant difficulties while seeking assistance via phone from the office. Despite six attempts to resolve my issue, the information provided was unhelpful and seemed to delay any resolution until after my vehicle was no longer at the location. I would appreciate a more transparent and efficient customer service approach that prioritizes direct assistance.

By other reviews the ladies that answer the phone there are extremely rude and do Not want to help you out. Don't see how they have jobs. Tow yard owner must be desperate.
David did a great job towing my U-Haul. He was extremely professional, fast, and fun to talk to. He turned a stressful experience into a positive one. Highly recommend.
I called a few times and the woman answering the phone was incredibly rude and inconvenienced by the idea of needing to transfer my call to the person who handles the Uhaul rentals.
The Uhaul person never answered the call for the several time I called and never responded to my messages.
I don’t know about their towing service but if it’s the same as their customer service I would definitely be cautious.
I had to have a truck towed twice during its service at a mechanic, and I drove in from Rockport , and David at A-Tex helped me jovially both times, and calmed me down during the first visit at a time where I was incredibly stressed , and he helped me jump a truck that we hadn’t had running in four years and had an anomalous hybrid battery. David did a great job both times, and I recommend A-Tex highly and will use in the future anytime I’m near Austin if I need a tow! Thanks again!

I was stranded for hours with three other companies dispatched and no one could accommodate our needs. Mondo came and within two minutes figured it out and got our car safely to the dealership. I know who to call without a doubt! Thank you A-Tex and especially to Mondo!
Was referred to A-Tex by another tow company when my truck suddenly wouldn't start after running errands. David showed up within minutes of calling. He arrived, lifted the hood of my truck, checked for possible issues with the starter and the alternator and was able to determine that it just needed a good, long jump - which he did - to recharge the battery enough to get it home without a tow. He even took it for a test drive for me to make sure that it wouldn't stall on my way home - AND offered to follow me home, just in case I stalled again. Then, since he didn't need to tow me, he refunded a good portion of the tow charge back to me. David was friendly, quick, and knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to check my truck for issues, and to ensure that I got home quickly and safety. Will definitely keep his card in my wallet permanently.
The driver showed up early which is surprising most don't do that very polite picked up my vehicle safely and dropped it off...
I would recommend this company service every time! It was a pleasurable experience dealing with a professional towing company... Even when having your vehicle towed, is not one!

Yesterday, on April 13th - My wife was driving with me and our 7 month old and 3 year old daughters in the car heading North on Mopac by the Captial of TX Highway Exit when an A-Tex Towing Flat Bed Tow Truck with no cars on the flatbed was throwing rocks/stones/gravel off of the bed. Several rocks and stones hit our car as we were 60-75 yards behind the tow truck going 65 mph and cracked and shattered our windshield. Glass came inside our car as well. Luckily we were able to stay in our lane and didn't cause an accident while rocks/stones continued to be thrown off of the A Tex Tow Truck. I called the number on the back of their tow truck and they proceeded to tell me that no truck was in the area and I was exaggerating.
Completely unacceptable to have rocks on the truck without a care in the world and to disregard what could have been an awful accident or worse. I emailed them with pictures and no response, to no surprise. Hopefully they have some consideration to return my email with a solution.
