I had a great experience with Bullet Towing! I needed a non-emergency tow from my house to a nearby repair shop, and Rick responded quickly through Yelp with a reasonable quote. He answered all my questions within minutes and was able to schedule me for the same day. Abel, who handled the tow, arrived right on time and was super helpful. Had a flat tire, Rick answered in a polite and respectful tone and made the situation as painless as possible. When greeted by Eric, he made the loading/unloading of my car at the dealership seamless and he had great conversation with me. If I needed any help with towing, these would be the guys to call.
Well, I never thought I would be giving a towing company 5 stars that had impounded my car but here we are. 2 years ago my Kia was stolen, recovered, and I thought it was scrapped by Kia when it was decided to not repair it. So I was super surprised when I got a notice it was impounded. I now live in a different state so I called Bullet Towing. They were so helpful and nice about the situation. They made the process of paying their fees and relinquishing the title easy. I could have been charged more storage fees than I was since I had to gather everything and mail it, but they stopped charging me the day I called them as long as I mailed them the stuff.
if you come out and they are towing your car illegally they are supposed to drop it.. so looks like we will be going to war. RAY POPE YOU COST ME $ 7,000 Deceptive trade practices act of Texas coming your way.
Guy towed my car after my wreck. He was unreachable for days and when I finally got ahold of him he lectured me about how busy he is and how hard it is to run a business as an incompetent man. Also super overpriced
Rick says to call him back in an hour well that hour has grown in to 2 days. Apparently no one has information on my car and they charge per day.
Rick has now called back trying to intimidate me to take my review down.
The owner was obnoxiously rude, belittling, and highly unprofessional. Would not give me a quote of what it would cost to get my car where I needed it to go from their tow yard. Said they would give me a price once I paid the impound yard charge and then still refuse to give me a price until after they towed it for me. They refused to let me go in to see my vehicle to try to start it so I can drive it out of there. I had to get a different tow company to tow it for me since this one wouldn't give me a price. The owner was very rude to the towing company that I had hired to move my car. I was made to stay outside the gate at the street to make my payment and then I was not allowed to drive in behind the tow truck driver to make sure my vehicle was okay. The owner took my card and got in his vehicle for about 5 minutes and then came back and threw my card at me and said it was declined. I checked my account and told him to try again and of course it worked. The owner went out of his way to be completely rude and aggressive. Do not ever deal with this company unless you absolutely have no choice like I did because of an accident. The entire business is a racket and they want to scam you out of whatever they can. They don't even deserve one star.
Called late at night about getting a dead car towed, and a gentleman helped me diagnose the problem with my car. He turned out to be correct and I was able to fix the car myself. It ended up saving me a tow and the hassle of a mechanic visit. Thanks!!
Showed up quickly and towed us 30 miles total to a suburb of Austin. Very professional and careful, super friendly. I hope I don’t need them again but I would call them if needed :)
My daughter was stranded east of Austin.. I called Nick at Bullet Towing at 10:30 at night, and he was awesome. He was unable to help me out with the particular need that she was having but gave me great ideas and suggestions and helped connect me with people whom I needed to help my daughter. Not only that, he and I talked the same language, John Deere!!! Thanks Nick!
No one wants to deal with a towing company, but if you must, this is the one to do so. Rick is a sweetheart and will go out of his way to make things less painful. He was also good at calming my frazzled nerves.I spent so many calls figuring out how to get my grandson’s car out that I will almost miss our calls now that the car is out. lol But it was the best (for lack of a better word) towing company experiences I ever had…actually make it the only good experience. Nobody pay attention to Vanessa Gonzales's review. She seems to be the only person in Austin who had a problem with this towing service!
I used Bullet twice in one day for 2 different vehicles. Both times, and each time I called in-between, the owner was beyond friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely patient!
I thought all was lost when trying to get my friend's car out of the tow yard. I truly thought there were no other options without the title or proof of insurance.
Bullet Towing, held my hand and offered wonderful advice! The car was out of the tow yard and back home within 2 hours of me making that initial phone call.
Bullet Towing is the only wrecker service I will use from now on!
Bullet Towing was a huge help today, even with my car landing in a tough spot. Abel was helpful and quick to get me to the auto shop by the time they closed and Rick was a huge help and very kind to charge my battery enough to get it towed.
Overall, I was most impressed by the standard that if they accepted the job, they would help me out (per Rick). Most other towing services would have left after surveying my initial situation and hung me out to dry. I would recommend based on that alone because regardless of the difficulty, they will work with you and they care. Thank yall for helping me on a tough day and being patient.
These guys are amazing! I'm so happy with the service. Rick the dispatcher was great. He set up my appointment and told me what time the driver would be there. Augustin the driver was right on time and knew exactly what he was doing. He explained everything as he was doing it. Over the years I've had my car towed a few times. Seriously, this is the best service I've ever received. I'm so grateful. Thank you!

So much appreciation towards this Business, my car was at aviles&Gabes towing and they were just so rude and I didn’t trust my vehicle being at their yard (DONT LET A&G PICK UP YOUR VEHICLE IF POSSIBLE) So Able came to the rescue and retrieved my vehicle for me and let me get all my personal belongings out without a fuss. Rick (the owner) was so communicative and helpful, and not too mention super friendly. Shoutout to these guys and their business!!
HORRIBLE, UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE! My car was taken without my consent and I had to drive 700 miles to get it back. When I get to this place the man was just so pushy and horrible service. He told us we had only one try to take it out, if it didn't start we would have to go back the next day. Just HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Not worthy of a star review
My car broke down and needed it towed, Rick responded very quickly and had Kevion head to me right away, I had a last second change of plans and asked for my car to be towed elsewhere than I originally mentioned and they worked with me no problem and adjusted price. They both were extremely friendly and made a tough situation go so smoothly. 100% recommend and will continue using in the future!! (hopefully not too soon though) lol

What a great experience. Total tire explosion. Needed a tow to a shop for wheel swap and a new tire. Their front desk operator/dispatcher was professional and prompt and quoted me an accurate time and rate with no nonsense. Driver showed up in the quoted time window.
When the tire shop called and said they wouldn't have the tire for a week I canceled the tow, but then they called back to say they were mistaken and had it ready to go.
Bullet said, "no problem," and worked to get my tow job back in motion even though I had cancelled on them 20 minutes earlier. Really excellent and efficient operation.
The truck operator took extra care to load and unload my car to prevent further rim damage. I've worked a lot of accidents and most operators just dump them as quickly as possible and scoot.
Bullet's straightforward and competent service made my bad day suck less. They are true professionals and I highly recommend them.
I needed my motorcycle transported and neither my AAA membership nor my car insurance covered the service. I'm used to calling AAA and they just send someone. I've never actually called for a tow truck, lol. My insurance agent picked Bullet Towing off of Google and said, "Hey, this company has a lot of five star reviews." So I called them out of the blue and the woman who answered the phone was very pleasant & professional.
She answered all my questions, and when she wasn't sure because they've never done a motorcycle before, she checked and called me back. I needed my bike picked up from my office which is behind a locked gate with a guard, and dropped off at my house. I gave them the window of time when the guard would be there to open the gate for them. The driver arrived exactly when they said he would, got the bike from inside the locked area, took it to my house, and put it inside my garage for me. Everything went perfectly on an unusual request, and the price was really reasonable. I'm very pleased with this company and I can say they really do deserve the 5 star reviews.

I got a great quote to tow my vehicle 24 miles across town from 1 dealership to another. They had to wait for an extended period...and instead of leaving...they waited patiently and didn't leave me stranded.

They were very professional and friendly from beginning to end. They came within the hour that was I was told and I was charged for the exact flat rate that was quoted and not a dollar more. My car needing to get towed wasn't pleasant, but dealing with Bullet Towing was such a pleasantly smooth experience!
They were very professional from the get go. Offered me a flat rate and stuck to their word. They gave me a 1 hour time frame of when it would be and we're right on time. Angel did a great job hauling my car from a sticky spot and gave me a ride back to my house. Highly recommend.
I called early Sunday morning and needed a tow from the north side to the south side. I called and received a quote over the phone and the resulting tow was the same as quote. Very reasonable and in a timely fashion. The man who met me was very outgoing and we had a few laughs about the spray painted van. We loaded up the van very easily with the truck and drove to destination. Van was dropped off in location I requested and I am very thankful for that. If it was any faster they would have been called lightning towing. Thanks
I was having unknown car issues and wasn’t able to get ahold of AAA. I contacted bullet and the gentleman I spoke with was extremely nice and understanding. I ended up calling back asking him if they would submit the invoice to AAA and he honestly explained why they don’t work submit invoices for payment and told me if I needed to cancel the pick up just let them know.
I was able to get through to AAA and was told I would be receiving a free tow. Naturally I accepted the tow and called back Bullet again the gentleman was extremely nice & understanding and even wished me luck going forward and happy holidays. Thank you for your kindness even though I didn’t use your service!
Super nice people and my car got safely towed to the requested destination. I highly recommend them. I never imagined feeling good about using a tow service before, but both the lady on dispatch and the tow truck driver were very considerate. They asked me what was going on and empathized with my situation, which was very much appreciated. I'll use them any time I need anything towed again.
