How criminal! I had my car towed from the parking spot I pay for, due to a “lack of registration” all because they couldn’t pull it up in their system. I registered my vehicle in May 2025 when I moved in. Apollo just so happened to never have proof of such. It’s appalling seeing so many others having gone through a similar situation. $339 down the drain- they should be ashamed.

After reading other’s reviews, what I think is going on is that the apartment complex’s leasing offices tell new residents they can park anywhere. Residents believe that and then park in what’s actually reserved parking; their car gets towed, the tow company and property management companies get paid off of it!
$350 and the car hasn’t even been gone for 3 hours? Get when my car was totaled my car it was $750 for 4 days… make that make sense!
And when my relative went to pickup the car, I called ahead of time and explained a situation that is currently going on with the car in which we do not have dmv paperwork yet. They said and I quote, “oh…that’s fine just bring your ID/driver’s license”. Yet when he got there, they argued with my relative about not having the title. Then, when he got inside the car he noticed a bunch of dashboard warning signs! So, they’re also a downright terrible at their job towing company.
Been calling and calling and calling day after day to get this car towed that’s been in my reserved spot for days on end. They keep saying they’ll send someone to tow it but it never happens. Awesome
Towed my car from my apartment complex. At 9pm. I called back today at 4:00 to get a price. Then told me I would be charged for two days storage when it hasn't even been 24 hours.
Although having your vehicle towed is inconvenient, Apollo towing made the process of picking up my truck seamless and easy. They’re customer service is top tier and I appreciate the care they took with my and my truck.

Another parasitic towing company preying on working class people. Towed from our apartment that we registered to park. Apartment says we weren’t registered. We registered the day we moved in. Missed a day of work and down $350, no recourse. This review doesn’t even matter nothing can stop this from happening other than institutional change.
Very disappointed with the way my car was handled. After it was towed, my suspension was damaged and the car now pulls to the right. I provided proof that my vehicle was legally parked with a valid permit, yet the towing company has not responded to my claim. I’m still waiting for clear communication and a resolution. Cars are valuable, and towing should be done responsibly. I just want my car fixed, but instead I’m left dealing with the damage it’s new Kia car 2025
They have towed numerous cars from my apartment illegally and then when I showed them the copies of files that I had showing that this car is registered, it didn't matter because they didn't have it on their side and that wasn't my problem but somehow I still had to pay. Rudest people on the phone told me it wasn't her problem and lied stating that they didn't tow my car.
A guest of mine got their car towed from my complex in Coppell all the way to this dump in Denton and had to pay a ridiculous $350 to get it back. I understand that the guest vehicle registration had expired while the car was still in the visitor's spot for a bit longer, but it is outrageous for it to be towed 30 MINUTES AWAY and that price is absolutely INSANE. This was devastating to have to pay on the spot and was a very frustrating process. Thanks for scamming us!
Towed from my apartment, lady on the phone kept changing the cost and said it would increase by the hour. Is that even allowed?? This gotta be illegal or you gotta be heartless to be doing that. When I got there the lady was so rude it’s kinda sad. Hope she recovers from her nasty attitude and behavior
The lady that works the front window is very rude. He claims that she is the manager but come to find out she was not. My sis car would not start. She only came to get her clothes out the car and she told me sis if you not taking the car why you need to jump the car..STUPID to get the clothes out the car. She said we would need a jump box my sis ask do yall have one she said no. How in the hell yall a towing company and have no jump box. So I asked I have jumper cables can I take my car back there she was like no only one person allowed back there. Also when yall pay cash make sure it’s exact change because she was not giving people money Change back
If I could give them negative stars I would. These people have no right to be in business. They will damage your vehicle, pretend like they never got your claim, then lie and act like they never damaged your car because they don't want to pay for repairs. Their driver is incredibly aggressive and unprofessional, I literally watched him curse my friend out completely unprovoked while we were walking across the garage. These are horrible, lying, unprofessional individuals and should be shut down. I will also be filing a complaint with BBB.
The text messages for towing fine that I got from Apartment, Heather Ridge, was $200. But on getting to the Apollow Towing office at Saunders, I was told to pay $396.21 (cash) or $410.08 (card). Please, is this the charge other persons pay?
This place is absolutely terrible! So let’s begin with my wife was at an apartment complex with family for a birthday party. She came out only to find her car was gone. So this poor of an excuse towing company took my wife’s car . When my wife went to the office to talk to an employee. The employee said they shouldn’t be towing until after 5pm on weekends. Mind you my wife called the police because at first she thought someone stole it. So the police said the tow company picked it up at 4:15 pm and didn’t report it til 5:15 pm at there lot they call papa’s lot. So I get there to get the car out of the lot and the lady tells me they can tow when ever and at whatever time they want. But the apartment complex said they can’t tow til after 5pm. So I am going to prolly file a complaint against this poor of a rip off company. Lady was rude not to mention the charge was 332.00 to get it out like are you kidding me not to mention my wife’s car was there less then 3 hours. I honestly can’t believe they allow this place to even be open for business. This place is garbage!
I Swear they were watching me get out of my car had my phone in my car went in the house for a bottle of water came out not even five minutes. My car was gone. I called the police cause I thought someone stole my car. No got Towed off I guess I can say at least they let you go in your car after they take it At least they let me go inside of my car and get my phone back after a 21 minute drive to where they took my car. And just know people 320 to 340 to get your car back, but that was absolutely ridiculous
My car was towed today front my apartment complex that i just purchased from a dealer 7 days ago. Went and picked it up same day and now my car has front end damage due to negligence of this towing company. Please dont say i purchased it this way may car is certified and has a warranty. Im imost definitely suing for damages and now my lost wages to get it resolved
Beware of Apollo Towing – Predatory and Unprofessional!
This company operates like a scam, patrolling apartment complexes to tow vehicles without warning. My own car was in the shop, so I was borrowing a family member’s vehicle when, at around 10 PM, it was towed — no notice, no knock, no courtesy. Just hooked it and dragged it away.
I contacted the number provided by the apartment complex and was told by Apollo that they couldn’t see anything in their system yet and to call back in 30 minutes. We showed up in person within that time.
The “facility” is a run-down shack with four windows — only two open. The first person we spoke to was immediately rude and dismissive, mumbling through a small vent that made it hard to hear. When we asked her to repeat herself, she snapped that they were in a “shift change” and ignored us.
Another employee showed up 20 minutes later, equally hostile. When we explained the insurance was in the towed vehicle, she got visibly annoyed. We offered the license, which she flicked back at us through the slot. Both employees showed zero professionalism, zero patience, and absolutely no communication skills.
To get the car back, the registered owner has to be physically present — ID, card, insurance and card you are paying with has to match exactly (kept in mind with cash there is a no cash back policy so you have to give exact). They make copies of all your ID and documents without properly explaining anything. The entire interaction was hostile, confusing, and sketchy.
They charged us $330 for less than 2 hours of holding the vehicle. Rows and rows of cars filled the lot — clear evidence they do this all day, every day, exploiting tenants and visitors for profit.
These are not people trained to work with the public. They’re rude, aggressive, and clearly used to bullying people who are already in a frustrating situation. If you get towed by this company, expect DMV-level treatment at best — and a scam at worst. Watch your parking and keep your guard up.
If I could leave 0 stars i would, when we got there we had to pay $346 to retrieve our car that had been sitting outside our apartment for not even 10 minutes. They towed and didn't tell us. so we contacted the police to report it stolen. Luckily enough the operator told us that it was towed. when we arrived at Apollo we gave them our info, and asked why we had gotten towed less then 10 minutes of us parking. She said that THEY DON'T KNOW HOW LONG A CAR HAS BEEN THERE FOR, so they steal your car, and then expectyou to pay $346, also when we got our car back it smelt of weed and our back tire was flat.
They towed my car and took it out to the middle of nowhere. It felt like a kidnapping but with a car.
They don't expect people to go get their cars.
There were many good cars in that lot. Sad to see that some may not be able to afford to get their cars out. People are already struggling, towing their vehicles only add to the stress.
This towing company is a predatory towing company. This company comes through the apartments around 2-3 AM looking for vehicles to tow. My vehicle was towed from Corsair apartments, and the tow company is very well aware that this apartment complex did not have a visitor parking protocol and many residents have been parking in other areas. They were not previously towing vehicles in that were parked here because they were aware of the parking situation and the property owners putting a structured plan in place. However this company is taking advantage of the lack of the protocol because they have access to the property.
They illegally towed my brother's car on the day of our mother's funeral. He was only visiting for one day and was parked in a visitor spot. They charged him well over $300. They are an illegitimate business. They are NOT accredited by the BBB. A fight broke out in their parking lot and someone pulled a gun. They had no safety precautions in place for people trying to get their cars back, offered no apology and still charged an insane amount of money. It took hours to get my brother's car back. This business should be shut down for good. They steal people's property and then hold it hostage, forcing people to pay to get their own property back. They tow illegally. They owe us an apology, and a refund plus pain and suffering.
I get something called Idiopathic Anaphylaxis, it means my throat closes with the exposure of random and unknown allergens. I have to keep my places that I go very clean and safe for my health. To find out that I was towed (Wrongfully, by part of the private property I was at, not from the company) with not only my lifesaving medication in the car but that the employee went INSIDE my car to tow it was disgusting. The exposure to the amount of chemicals and allergens is insane.
I know I should not leave my medication in the car, but I was wrongfully informed by the private property that my car was in a verified space and was at no risk of tow. I now have to pay to get my car detailed and deep cleaned to be free of any possible chemicals and allergens. Not their fault that they towed me, but they need to be more mindful of what exactly they’re doing when they tow someone.
I awoke today to find my car was towed from my apartment complex Tuscany Square Apts . I signed up as instructed when I moved in march 16,2025 . I got off work at 4:30 pm went out to day to find my car was gone. I went to Apollo towing to pickup my car which costed 346.21 . I approached the window and a lady by name of Natalie was the person at window. She was rude and arrogant. I gave her my license and asked the price . I requested the amount owed and asked for the paperwork to see the amount charged after I had googled and called Apollo for process of releasing my car. This person refused to give me any information or paperwork until I paid the amount she quoted. Stated I will give it to you when you pay. . I was bewildered at her negative attitude towards me. I gave her 347.00 not realizing there was a sign stating they don’t give change . I offered her the 21 cent . She refused. She went as far as telling me I am not arguing with a grown ass woman . . My children who are grown don’t curse me . I’m 64 year old elderly disabled woman. This place is horrible. I never showed her any disrespect .I was only there to retrieve my car. There was a sign that said 3.5% discount for cash payment. I questioned her about the sign and asked what the original amount was I was told it was 358.00 . Ok where is it on this paperwork can you show me the discounted amount . She continued to be hostile and aggressive. I wanted to know what did I do to you ? It’s my car that was towed fraudulently. I want to know why is it people are so rude and get so much pleasure out of being rude to people just trying to live their lives. I went in to get my car there was so many lights flashing malfunctioning lights a gentleman Brian approached me about where my car was parked and stayed we had an influx of cars today. as if he was proud. He apologized for her behavior. I think management should address this issue. Why was I treated like a criminal for having my car towed. I feel so sorry for this young lady who feels superior because she is in control of harming hardworking people that are just trying to live day to day. This was a horrible experience the first I had my car towed. Clearly this is a behavior that is acceptable at this company. Clearly Natalie is a miserable human being who doesn’t know compassion or respect or have empathy lord only knows how she was raised to feel it’s ok to address people in this way. If she were my child I would be ashamed of her . Maybe she wasn’t raised. It doesn’t appear she has any home training. It makes you wonder who are raising these people . They were friendly and helpful.It happen to be really late at night but they let my friend get her vehicle even though it was after midnight and were fairly quick about the process.
Absolutely idiotic group here, vehicle was moved out of reserved spot and was still towed hours after. Crooked company just ready to collect money. No way to contact drivers or a manager either. They will not help you in any way. Ridiculous the amount of hoops I had to go through to get MY vehicle back that was NOT wrongfully parked.
I came here to pick up my vehicle after it was towed illegally by this company because it was parked in front of my garage "said it was unauthorized." I spoke to the lady at the front and she had an attitude from the start. She then proceeded to say that my VIN Number didn't match my insurance or my registration (which was a lie) and wouldn't let me get my vehicle out. I had to call the police to get them to show her the VIN numbers match. She also would not let me get my car because she said it's not in my name.
However, the address, name, and information on the insurance and registration matched perfectly. I checked the form she gave me to sign and it said that I could either be the owner of the vehicle, or an authorized driver (which I am). This is the most terrible towing business in the state of Texas and their rates are outrageous.
Also, in the process of all of this I asked her could she call her manager because I'm sure they've dealt with situations like this before and she told me no around 8pm. However, when I show up to get my vehicle and the cops are there passed midnight, she's able to get in touch with them.....
They just tried to use a third-party towing company to come and steal my box truck lied that I was given a warning I couldn’t park there. Straight crooks scammers
I can’t stand this company, and this is one of those businesses that need a boycott. The first time my vehicle was towed last year, they said I wasn't registered but I lived on the premises? Like huh. Then I show I live there they said it was too late because I wasn't registered when I was towed, desperate for money. The second time was a week ago, My vehicle Chevy, Malibu 2015 was towed on 04/29/2024 or the early hour of 04/30/2024. I was moving out of my apartment when I walked outside to find my vehicle gone. When I asked security, I was informed they were not sure and to wait for management to come in the morning. Later that morning, Erin the property manager, informed me that it was towed due to being on the white line or occupying two spaces. I informed her that she's very much aware I was moving out of the apartment and I needed space to open the car doors to fit bins inside to not damage other vehicles. Also, I wasn't there long and this is not right. I had to find a ride through Uber as I live here alone without anyone and the family that moved the bigger items the previous day were gone back to Florida. Once I obtained the vehicle around 1it started to act up. Once I parked it was like the theft mechanical system was acting up where I wasn't allowed to drive it or it wouldn't crank not unlock. I had to call a mechanical/ lockout company to assist and it cost $270 and if I didn't pay my vehicle would be towed again as I wasn't suppose to be in the premises, I no longer lived there.
I never got my picture of my vehicle I requested but here are vehicles in the same garage parked the same, are you kidding me?
On 10/04/2023 They took my truck supposedly at 11:30 without letting me know any information about I ended up calling tow truck at my trailer home around 9am the same day just to find out they took it knowing they’re not suppose to take residence vehicles. I talked to customer service just to have a unprofessional associate tell us it’s not their problem it’s ours. Just for them to end up wrong later on that same day to offer to bring my truck back or pick it up for free so I asked them to bring it back where I live. They brought my truck back without saying anything at my home just to find out for myself my bumper missing with license plate and the front paint chipped under headlights pulled off from side. That same night we went down to the waxahachie police station to talk to an officer to get help on the situation and he help us a lot and told us we should get the claim # and insurance card and all the information that can be used. Today on 10/06/2023 we had to drive all the way to Fort Worth to get a single paper for a damage claim form asked for a manager no manager they wouldn’t give a tow ticket even though they took my truck to their lot they wouldn’t provide any type of information when they took the truck, publicly listed telephone number, towing company certificate of registration number, and the TDLR license number of the towing operator. The did not help us in any way and gave us no customer service with no information but just told us to go get a estimate how much it will be to fix and put it on the paper. I have a more in-depth complaint that goes within my day/ work life that is affected because of the tow truck doing and I also have more information with everything else that was held throughout the 3 days that had happened when they took my truck.
