I just bought a Toyota Tundra from Robby & it was such a positive, easy & effortless experience.Everything just fell into place dealing with Robby & his staff. First off, each interaction I had with any team member at Engine Express was very respectful and cordial. They relayed my questions, and/or gotten back to me promptly. Before I took the truck for a test-drive, Robby came to the office to shake my hand - which I very much appreciated. After the test-drive, I let them know that I wanted to have the truck be checked out by a 3rd party. They were encouraging me to do so which increased my trust further. The checkup revealed worn-down break-pads and rotors that needed replacing. I asked if he was willing to throw in the parts and that I'd pay the labour which he generously agreed to. Not only that, but he also installed the premium version! The price was a little outside our budget, and again Robby was willing to talk and settle on a price that felt very reasonable and fair for the truck he was selling. While doing the paperwork, I had some silly questions as this was my first time buying a vehicle in the US, and he was very patient explaining to me what I was signing, again, much to my appreciation. Overall, it was just such a smooth experience and I'm very happy with how everything went. I feel we got a great deal and they did everything fast and fair. The saying "The customer is king" is very much alive with Robby and his team at Express Engine and I'd do business with them in a heart-beat would I live a little closer!

I had a wonderful experience, the gentleman that helped me was named Terry. He had the best customer service and answered all my questions. He got my truck in and out quickly and it runs like a champ. Terry I can not thank you enough for all the work you have done for me this far. I will definitely be recommending you to any that needs work done.

I called this business on a Friday. I was told, there is not currently a line of cars ahead of me. They told me if I could get it in Sunday night, they would get it in the shop in the order it came Monday morning. I did as instructed. Up on pulling into this business parking lot I noticed there was only one other vehicle in the lot. I'm ecstatic, because of the information I was given about there not being a line of cars ahead of me. Monday morning comes, and I was told the issues with my truck. Same day only 30 minutes later, after being told issues we confirmed for repairs on truck that same Monday morning. I asked about the time frame of repairs and I was told he's getting on it now and that repairs would be done by the end of Tuesday and I would be able to pick up vehicle that day. Now it's Tuesday and this business closes at 5:30 p.m. with me not receiving a phone call of the day to inform me. I give them a call. I was told that my vehicle has not been touched. Not only that, there is a line of vehicles ahead of me! That it would "possibly" be the next day before it is completed or repaired! Engines Express does not care about the working man if they're not tremendously beneficial$$$$. This is not the first time this issue has happened. The first time I went ahead and allowed them to work on my other vehicle even after the wait. This times a no go. I'm taking my vehicle to someone else. Also, this company could not get my name right. I wrote out My information on a form that was given at the drop box. Every time I was addressed they would associate me with another client 😕 the disrespect!

Called to get a round about price to swap the engine out in my 2003 toyota camry (current motor is still running and driving daily just starting to give small problems here and there that im tired of dealing with) with the engine I'm about to order. The guy told me he's not in the business of installing customer supplied parts. I'm a single father of 3 and my kids live with me I can't afford to use a motor he'd supply and upcharge me on I'm expecting the labor alone to be a couple grand already. Wasn't aware mechanic's weren't in the business of repairing vehicles unless they can double the price of parts. Lady that answered the phone was polite and professional though so thank you to her.

I purchased a car through Carvana and had a few unexpected issues with it. I turned this vehicle over to Engines Express, specifically, Robby. They took care of me and kept me updated and informed every step of the way. They took care of every aspect of the process (speaking to the warranty company and sourcing the parts that were needing to be replaced) They were thorough with their diagnosis, and quick to repair the issues. If you are looking for trustworthy, quality mechanics then this is your place.

I live in DFW and have an elderly family member in the Tyler area. When his truck had an issue with the blend door actuator I immediately thought of Terry Lemley the service advisor at Engines Express in Tyler. Terry got him scheduled the same day and after an initial diagnostic by the technician discovered that the repair could be completed without additional parts saving me $400 on the quoted cost of the repair. Engines Express has a convenient payment portal where I was able to pay for the repair while in DFW allowing my family member to just go pick his truck up. I can’t recommend Engines Express highly enough and especially want to thank Terrry Lemley their service advisor for making everything as painless as possible.

Great shop for your mechanic needs. Honest folks at a reasonable price. Have taken good care of my 350z twice now when she needed some love. I won't go anywhere else.

I originally took my high mileage car to Christian Bothers and spent over 2700 dollars and car still would not run. I was than quoted 2200 dollars for new catalytic converter system on car. This was after having car in shop for more than a week. I than had car towed to Engines Express and in less than one day was told that I only needed one new catalytic converter replaced which was going to cost 600 dollars, I gave my okay for them to do work. They called me and said that the car had jumped time and the engine needed to be replaced. I stated that I didn't want to spend that kind of money on the car. They returned catalytic converter and only charged me 125 dollars for service done and really finding out what problem was. They now have a customer for life.

It was on a Friday and I got in my car to start it and it gave me the clicking sound of doom...I had a dead battery. After a few calls I found Engine Express that could fit me in to replace my battery. I've worked in repair shops before. It's not common on a Friday for one to fit you in after lunch for a repair. I got there and the staff there took excellent care of me and got me back on the road at a very, very cheap price. Less than $50 to change out my battery. I haven't used many repair shops in Tyler, but I highly recommend Engine Express. They could have easily said they had other cars to work on, which they did but they still fit me into their schedule. I appreciate them very much. Thanks again guys for helping me out when I really needed it.

Engines Express is by far the best Auto Repair service I have experienced in Tyler. There was an issue with my service contract, SilverRock, and an existing warranty, but an owner, Robby, took the case and handled it very professionally making my life easier and the entire experience of car troubles uncommonly painless. Thank you so much. I encourage anyone reading to trust Engines Express and choose them first!

I brought my 2017 F150 3.5 EcoBoost in for an oil pan leak. Ford decided that a half plastic oil pan was a good idea. We found an aftermarket all metal pan, that they agreed was a better plan than a new plastic one from Ford. Since Ford has a TSB on how to reseal their plastic pan; because it leaks. And since it is not a safety issue, there is no recall. Just a seven page TSB. I would recommend anyone with a leaking plastic oil pan on the Eco Boost, to upgrade to the all metal pan and have Engines Express change it for them. They will need it for 2-3 days, in order to let the RTV dry and verify no leaks. So worth it. While it was in there, I also had the Front and Rear Diff Service and a Transmission Service. Figured at 75k it was a good investment.

We've been using Engines Express for about 10 years. This place is first class and very good at what they do. We have a 2007 suburban we had to replace the engine in. They did a fabulous job and it's still running like a champ today. We've had maintenance done, engine mounts replaced, sensors fixed. They can do it. Very good at communicating and follow up. They have the same staff there as the first day we used them and I think that speaks volumes about a place.

I was first very impressed by the service manager courteous interaction with me when I stopped by to inquire about my engine repair options. Then, as agreed, I dropped my vehicle off for the agreed service close to 9:00 AM, and was overwhelmed to get a call noon time the same day that it was ready. It was not magic in my book, it was honest work worthy of the cost, worthy to recommend and rate five stars. Thank you folks. You have earned me as a customer for life for all my vehicle's needs

Couldn't be happier with these folks! I was out of town and broke down in Tyler. I managed to get my ford e350 van to them based on their excellent reviews, and I quickly understood why they are so highly rated. What was wrong with my truck was pretty serious, but Gerry knew what needed to be done and assured me they could do it. They were pretty backed up but they said they could get it done in two days. As it turned out they had a cancelation and were able to get my truck done the next day and get me back on my way. Having owned a repair shop myself for 25 years, I knew what they had to do, and I appreciate their professionalism and fair treatment of me in my compromised position. Some would have taken advantage of someone stranded 1600 miles from home, but they did not. They did the work professionally, quickly, and charged only what it was worth. I can hardily endorse them and hope anyone in the Tyler area will make them their shop.

Just moved to Tyler and had some brake issues. Someone recommended Engines Express and they did a quick excellent job. Even fixed some minor things without charging me. Sent pictures and called me before doing any repairs that weren't quoted. Called me 5 minutes before closing and offered to have me pay over the phone so that I could get the car that same day. Definitely went above and beyond in service. They have a customer for life. Update 2-2019: I've been using them for several years now and they have always offered excellent service. I once received a quote from them that was half of another shop. I mentioned this to them and they said that the book price for a repair was $600 but because they had done it enough they knew how to perform the repair without having to take as long. Great place! Definitely the best repair shop I've ever been to!

My wife and I moved to Tyler a few years ago and were recommended Engines Express as an excellent business. We have brought all of our vehicles there for repairs and insight. They are kind and thorough always get the job done quicker than we expect. We are always excited to brag about how good they are when the conversation comes up.

Came in on a busy Friday, they diagnosed the issue and fixed it same day! I stayed in the waiting are while they worked on my vehicle and when their team had lunch, they so graciously offered me some of their pizza. Been to a half dozen different mechanic shops in VA and TX in the last few years and this is hands down the best customer experience I've ever had. Furthermore the shop is spotless clean. I'll never take my car anywhere else.

I trust them for honest, reasonable cost, professional work on the vehicle we use for my family's many long trips. Auto safety is very important. The work area is very clean, great waiting room, clean rest rooms. That tells you something too. Have gotten a lender for important errand while waiting. They partner with a trusted nearby used car dealer too. I think I reviewed them first several year ago. EE is still my go-to for all our family autos. Engines express is still the best. I live in Jacksonville & go to Tyler for service. It's a drive but it's worth it.

I knew my mother had her car serviced at Engines Express. After she passed away, I picked up her car to drive back to Hideaway. The brakes felt soft to me so I stopped at Engines Express. Claude drove it around the neighborhood and assured me it was safe. No charge. When I went to Tire Max to have my tires rotated, I asked them to attach a plate that had come loose under the car when they had it up on the lift and they refused. They only did tires. So I brought it to Engines Expressed. Gladly they did it. Again no charge! To my absolute surprise I was told to just bring my car back for future service. And that is what I have done with total satisfaction every time. I am so grateful for your kindness and your skill. Thank you.

I've been going to Engines Express now for 2 years and they have always been professional, upfront about the diagnosis for my vehicle, and very very reasonably priced. I've never left their shop feeling like I got ripped off and the work has always been performed correctly the first time. I encourage everyone to give them a shot the next time they need their vehicle worked on. My Caddy CTS is 10 years old and I know I can get another 5 years out of it simply by going to Engines Express for the maintenance. Jeremy and Dakota are great to work with.

I've gone to Engines Express for about 7 years now, from my Ford Contour to my Honda Civic. The only time I did compared prices, it confirmed to me that their prices are fair and even cheaper in some cases. Even if I do pay slightly more for anything, it is worth every penny for the peace of mind I have taking my car to such a friendly, professional place. They really are great people. Not to mention free tire rotation if you buy your tires from them. Loyalty goes ways with Engines. Highly, highly recommend.

We do not live in Tyler but the folks at Engines Express took care of our son's vehicle when it broke down and were courteous to deal with and took the time to explain everything to us over the phone. When we had a problem with the alternator later they returned it and got us a partial refund. Staff members were professional, and particular thanks to Enrique who followed the refund process and kept us informed. Awesome customer service!!

Just had an awesome experience here! After searching for a place in town that does oil changes on minis, I was recommended here. They were able to get me in the next day for that and a tire patch and both were extremely affordable. They gave me great advice on different things having to do with my car (maintenance, etc) and as someone in the customer service industry, I respect how helpful and honest they were to me. They definitely have a customer for life and I will be referring them to everyone I know!

Enrique and Robby and the whole staff at Engines Express are the BEST!! I have on various occasions had all my cars in for service. Whether it was for a wheel bearing to oil changes they have kept me and my family safe on the road. I have also bought 2 sets of tires and I don't plan on going anywhere else to let someone else work on my car. These guys are the best in my opinion and would recommend them to anyone.
