I bought an alternator at autozone in alpine and less than a week it went out in pecos. I asked for another to replace it and the store in pesos didn't have one I got the money back for the part so I could go to o'riellys to buy one. I had already turned my core back into alpine. Now autozone is making me give them the one off my car and I had to pay an EXTRA $40 CORE CHARGE TO O'REILLY BECAUSE I DONT HAVE ONE TO GIVE!!!!!!! Because their part was defective it cost me an extra $40 NEVER AGAIN AUTOZONE!!!!!

Customer service was 10/10, one of the employees even came out and helped me change my headlight.

Drove 10 miles into town to get a radiator cap had my wife go inside and get it the Box matched right part number when we open the box it was a plastic coolant cap not a radiator cap called the guy back he said he opened and looked at it he thought it was strange too just don't know why he sent me all the way back with it 40 mile round trip 10 over there and 10 back twice to get I'm sorry say he's not a mechanic but I wasn't taking it to a mechanic I was buying parts what do you think simple mistake or incompetent workers tell me about your experiences

Truckers Do not park in the dirt lot behind the building towing companies watch this lot like hawks and they wanna charge $1200 to give you your shit back. kinda disgusting behavior in my opinion

Stopped by to check if battery was good. It wasn't. Had warranty on battery and warranty was voided. So had to purchase new battery.

Was gone for six months got transferred somewhere else this place with a disaster before you couldn’t even walk through the isles, management was horrible. Employees were horrible. Got back last week to Pecos and walked in and I was surprised wanna give a shout out to the management you guys turn this place around I was going next-door but now that you guys turned this place around you got my service back. Congratulations to the management team and employees.

Walking in, I was already asking the desk if I could get someone to read a code that tripped the check engine light. Was impressed how quick Jordan responded. Gladly, the code came back with no issues, but I wanted to take the time to attest how friendly and eager to help, the employees here, are. Did not meet him, but by witness the quality of staff, I will bet that manager, Ruben, has the same people-friendly attitude. Thanks, everyone!

Not the sharpest tools in the box. I was looking for a camber kit for our truck. I had the part number and all the info needed. The guy on the phone tells me there is no such thing because it doesn't come up on his computer...I had one in my hand so, yes they do exist...ended up ordering it from Wal-Mart of all places...sheesh.

Even though they look like they are shorthanded, the 2 that were working Sunday between 3pm and 5pm, they were running around trying to get parts and tend to customers and still were nice and positive. Some customers were rude but they stayed very polite. They were very professional and didn't leave the customers in the store hanging nor let the phones ring unanswered. Those 2 deserve good praises.

Worst service and knowledge I have ever seen. Went in for a points file. They were clueless what that was. Couldn't find a battery for s key fob next trip. Even gave the kid the parts number.

Was able to get help from Chris C. He fixed my new windshield wipers I purchased from Chandler, Az Autozone location and they wasn’t able to figure out how to install the windshield wipers so I drove dangerously across the country in the rain until I got to Texas where Chris fixed them in 3 mins. ✅?

Regrettably, they didn't help in any way shape or form. If you're traveling and need help, stop by the O'Reillys right next door. The guys at O'Reillys took the time to help me and my family out as we were traveling and even lend us tools to get the job done. Great folks at O'Reilly, they said yes to all the things that the guys at Autozone said, "Nope, we don't do that".

I called to get a price on a part that I know for a fact they carry because I have bought it there on more than one occasion in the past. It was obvious the girl I was talking to on the phone had no idea what this part was. Her immediate response was "We don't carry that." I could have asked for a manager, or someone else, but I didn't do that. If they have people working there that are uneducated to that degree on auto parts that's not where I need to be dealing. In the future I'll go to O'Reilly's or Napa.

Very courteous staff. The store was well-stocked found everything I needed. However the loaner tool program was very limited in what it had and I ended up having to buy tools instead of borrow tools. But when you're on the road in a strange town some is better than none.

So when tragedy strikes while road tripping most people think to look for an auto shop. But when it is the weekend and your vehicle wont hold coolant any better than a strainer options are limited but the reps at this autozone location went well above and beyond with providing all the needed tools amd expertise required to assist me with my water pump on a 2003 ford excursion 7.3l turbo diesel. Maria thank you and all your staff for literally everything you did for us we won't forget you or this amazing experience.

I went in and asked for a repair book for my van and they didn't have it. Asked for them to order it and the guy behind the counter said ok. Went back a few days later and they said it was never ordered. So I asked them to order it. They said ok. Went back a few days later and once again it was never ordered. Went to O'Reilly's Auto Parts, they had what I was looking for.

It's hard to rate a place properly when you have had good experiences and the most awful experience possible. Its hit and miss really. But like every other place in a small oilfield town, the lines can get pretty long.

Only one of two auto parts stores in the area and there is always a wait in line but never anyone in the store the people never greet you or ask if you need help I had my check engine light on and asked if they could get the code the guy handed me the reader and told me to bring it back and it didn't work but he never offered to go check it

Sales Reps have no clue of what they are talking about. They couldn't even give someone the right size windshield wipers. Were extremely disrespectful to the customer in front of us who asked for a full sized receipt that he has to send in to his company. The Rep rudely said "well they need to start taking normal receipts cause that's a lot of work." If you can't do your job correctly the least you can do is print out a sheet of paper. Never coming here again. I'd rather drive another 100 miles.
