Was quoted 15-20 mins and took almost 2 hours to reach me. Driver was condescending over the phone and would not listen to the directions that I was trying to give him; instead he drove in circles. Rude and short with me in person. Just unprofessional attitude and experience; no uniform just a random shirt with crocs? Definitely not worth it and would not use this company again. Edit: Considering I used the information of of the tow truck itself, Im 100 percent sure I got the correct company. My review still stand. Ridiculous behavior
I requested service at 1 p.m. The tow truck arrived, saw the sandy area where I was, and instead of telling me it couldn't, it went in and also got stuck. They called another tow truck, which arrived at 6 p.m. Neither tow truck could get me out, and at 7 p.m. the property owner got me out. The tow truck crew charged me $700 for not getting me out of the sand, and for also getting stuck.
When every other tow company gave me 2-3 hour wait South Texas Towing was ready to go straight to pick. Service was Very worth what I paid. Quick towing for 11pm on a Saturday night! Thank you for your help at that time of night. Thank you, thank you!
Can’t say enough good things about south Texas towing. These guys answered the phone and had a tug at our shop right away! Jay was awesome great guy fast worker! These guys are the only people you should call for towing end of story!
The best experience the gentleman was very nice and polite the price that was charged was great and we got assistance for another police officer to be able to escort us home, cuz my mother was disabled so I think the people that helped

The person I spoke to on the phone told us one thing, had us waiting for over an hour and the person they ended up sending out to us was a complete jerk! We wouldn’t have used him if he was the last tow truck driver in the state!!! Terrible company terrible service

I've had to call them late at night when I locked my keys in my car, and they were there in under 20mins! Most recent I had a tire blow and they got me and had me at a shop in 30mins! Great guys always use them!
They didn't do anymore damage to my car than what was caused from the accident and all of my belongings were just as they were left. That's unusual for that to happen. They offered any help and made sure I was able to load my wrecked car onto my trailer.
Dan is unbelievable...what an outstanding guy. We came into castroville late on our 3rd flat tire on our camper in 3hrs. We called around and unfortunately nothing was open. Castroville PD recommended we call South Texas Towing. Dan came and helped do everything he could with what we had to change the tire... He just wanted to help. He even drove to several tire shops for us just to see if someone was still there and checked his shop for the tire we needed. Way to go above and beyond. Great person...wow!!! With everything going on in the world it was so wonderful to have the privilege to have such a wonderful texas guy do all he could to help out of towners.

I have used South Texas Towing over 5 yrs now. I can call and get service typically within the hour vs waiting on my AAA to send someone! I even call for him to help others on the side of the road specifically elder people I see. We joke that I send him for the strays because I’m always trying to help someone lol but he never turns them down and is always there to help! The driver Dan is a very hard worker and great asset to the company! Thanks South Texas Towing for always being there to help pick up my strays and pop my locks because I’m always leaving keys in my car.

Went to pick up a vehicle he wasn't there but called me back and was back very quickly even though he had been doing a recovery . Good people ,good service .
Always been super friendly and extremely quick whether it’s getting you back in your vehicle after you’ve locked the keys inside to tows. Rates are very competitive with everyone else that I’ve ever had to use! Will go out of their way to make sure your vehicle is taken care of!

Sister-n-law with kids in bad accident and these guys charge them over $400 for one just one day. Because her phone was dead and the deputy called, Owner says its policy if it comes thru dispatch they charge max...your the owner you can change it.
