I am extremely disappointed with my experience with this towing company. After already dealing with the stress of an accident, the last thing anyone expects is to feel taken advantage of—but that’s exactly what happened.
The fees charged were excessive and unreasonable, especially for the short amount of time my vehicle was in their possession. It felt like there was no transparency in the pricing, and no effort to explain or justify the charges in a fair or professional way.
What’s even more concerning is that a company operating like this is being used in connection with the Giddings Sheriff’s Department. Situations like accidents are already difficult, and companies working alongside law enforcement should be held to a higher standard of honesty and integrity—not adding more hardship.
I would strongly urge others to ask questions, understand their rights, and be cautious when dealing with this company. Based on my experience, I would not recommend their services.
Very rude and won't answers questions over the phone. Person I spoke to yelled and hung up on me twice when I was trying to get some general info. Please stay away. Person needs to fired
Sent my niece to them to purchase a vehicle. She found one she liked payed her down payment and got her car. Happy neice right.... nope! She drove about 25 miles and the car began to have major issues. 2 stars because they did take it in to a local mechanic. Found out it had transmission issues and a missing motor mount bolt. Go to get the refund and requested a check so that this 18yr old could go back to car shopping. Well they refused and put it on her card. Due to the fact that we were local and they sold a bus car they would be reasonable and a little accommodating. Nope. They wouldn't have been out anything by writing her a check so that she could go back to car shopping. The only person that's out is an 18yr old that worked hard for her money. Be very weary about shopping here. I would absolutely not recommend it.
SCAM. I hydroplaned during a storm and the cops called them to tow me. (I had AAA but the cops said it would take too long and wouldn't let me wait.) They towed me 8 miles and charged me $1,071 to take me 8 miles.
I called AAA to take the car from them and drive it to a different city. When AAA arrived, this company said their credit card machine was down and refused to even try it. They made me walk a few blocks down the road in the storm to pull cash from an ATM.
They are absolute scammers and if their car dealership operates like their towing side, you can't trust them.
