Just had my son’s vehicle break down in giddings. We were given the phone number to Govan wrecker service and less than an hour later, his vehicle was on the wrecker and headed to the dealership. This is definitely a top notch company with great customer service!
The young man that helped me was very polite and professional. He made a rather unpleasant situation much more bearable and went out of his way to make sure I was satisfied with the service. Highly recommend!
We will always 100% use govans. we had a pretty unique situation in retrieving our vehicle that may have caused some grief but because Becca was so knowledgeable and skilled in what she does, she was able to retrieve and deliver not only the car but an awesome experience. Thank y’all again!
Our vehicle broke down at seven eleven in giddings about an hour ago. One quick call to Eric and he was there to get our vehicle in less than 10 minutes. He was extremely professional and quick to offer a ride home as well as the tow. The price was extremely reasonable. I would definitely recommend Eric to anyone in a bind. He even figured out the issue with our car. Definitely would recommend and definitely would call again if ever in a bad situation.

Eric is an amazing young man, but an old soul. He's level headed, well mannered, and his enthusiastic work ethic is unmatched. Along with his new driver Rebecca, they are quite the team! So, should you have a vehicle that's not cooperating, an unexpected flee from the police, or an unfortunate accident, request them or give them a call, they will hook you up....LITERALLY!!
I had a flat tire and found out my donut was flat too. I was stuck outside Lexington a late Saturday afternoon 280 miles from home i called several places for help but nobody said they could. I called Govans and Eric was the only person who said they would try to help. He suggested I call to see if the Shell station has a tire and he would take me there. Well they had a tire but said they close in 30 min so I had to get car there in that time. No waiting. Eric offered to go get the tire and pick me up and mount it. This man helped when nobody else would! He got me out of a jame and back on the road in 2 hours. Eric was very polite and helped me work through this problem i would highly recommend Govan’s Wrecker. Thanks again Eric!
Eric helped us when nobody did at late hours and didn't charge as much the ride was very nice and he is a really sweet person to talk to on your way to your destination.
The man who runs this business has an attitude problem. He needs to learn how to talk to people. Only when told that we’d call sheriffs dept. to release the vehicle did he change his attitude (we had ALL necessary paperwork).. then my husband arrived to pick the vehicle up and the “staff” stood in the parking lot and watched my husband struggle to load the vehicle onto a trailer, not so much as an offer to help. I understand people have to make money, but we just paid almost $700 for an 18 mile tow and 12 hours in the impound lot. Over $300 in additional “fees”. Disgusted at the service, disgusted this man has lasted 10+ years in business. Be a better human.
I asked how much it would cost me to put my car on their flatbed truck at THEIR location and the quote was $150-.
I asked another towing company, B&M Towing and Recovery the same question and he said $75-. Hello??? I know where I'm going.
My wife ran out of gas and was stuck with 3 small kids in the SUV. They came out and put some gas in for her to get her going again after I made a simple call...value?...priceless.
