Amazing staff! Had a scare when driving through Giddings and the workers were so nice and helpful!

I had an amazing experience at AutoZone not too long ago all thanks to Melissa, the manager who is clearly the MVP of customer service! Honestly, I walked in a bit confused and probably looking like I was trying to fix my car with duct tape and hope. But Melissa swooped in like a superhero, armed with knowledge, patience, and a smile that could probably fix my engine. She not only helped me find exactly what I needed, but also made sure I felt like I was the most important person in the store, no small feat when it’s packed with car parts and confused customers like me. If you're ever in need of auto parts and an uplifting experience, ask for Melissa. She’s basically the Beyoncé of AutoZone.

The new manager Melissa was awesome when I pulled up she was on step Stool installing a battery in a big f250 ID be a proud husband when she came home. Only took 4n a half min to install I was counting she really deserves a pat on the back she really turned this place around

Had the worst day ever, started off with a car accident and I am unable to drive the car. I get home and the battery to my other car is dead. I ask the neighbor for a jump rush to Autozone 10 minutes prior to closing. Angela replaced my car battery with no problems. Stayed after hours to help me. I am so grateful for. I was having acceleration issues with my car on my way into Austin fom Houston. This issue kept pushing my arrival time further into the evening. Slowly but surely, I made it to this location. Inhsf the idea to just supplement my car with a lower end fuel injector cleaner, but Frederick Thomas helped by recommending a top notch motor treatment. After just 5 minutes of putting it into my car, I was back on the road accelerating properly without further strain on my rpm. I really appreciate the efficient customer service. There was another employee present who was polite as well. Great team here! You are appreciated!

Stopped in at closing time to buy fix a flat because a friend was stuck in Giddings on the way home to Conroe, with a flat tire. Wesley went above and beyond to contact a tow company, and ultimately a tire company that could help us. Rather than just sell me a product (that I later found out wouldn’t have worked for the situation) he took time after he got off work to make sure we were safe and got the service we needed. Such a gentleman, rare to find these days! Thank you Wesley for ALL of your help!

Has the stuff i need but manager on duty was a slack jawed jackanape that kept mixing his words up and refused to understand a simple yes or no question on refunding trying to confuse me on purpose instead of just saying, no once it is used it is not refundable thats all i needed not a antagonizing waste of words with a "yes sir manager" employee not helping at all, not feeling good and did not need that today id rather go 30 to 40 minutes out for better or real service without antagonists or people who refuse to listen and awnser simply

I want to express that this was the best experience I've ever had at AutoZone. While driving through Giddings, Texas, which was four hours away from home, my truck began to overheat. The manager of the store listened to my concerns and quickly diagnosed the issue with my vehicle. Despite it being past closing time, he stayed with me and called a local mobile mechanic to fix the problem. As a young woman who frequently travels alone, certain tasks can be intimidating to tackle solo. He went above and beyond, treating me as if I was his daughter, making me feel safe and at home throughout the entire ordeal. Additionally, he prayed over me, and I feel extremely blessed to have encountered such a kind and compassionate person in the middle of nowhere. A huge thank you to the mobile mechanic, 'V & A Automotive Care', who not only spent hours working on my truck but also made me feel safe and provided exceptional service. I am truly grateful for his kindness and dedication.

It be your own people Whoever the black man with glasses and the tattoo on his hand is need to go period . I said what I said . Very unhelpful and rude. I just got a car and was trying to make sure everything was ok with it and was told by another employee of the store on the phone to come in the store and he would help me ! When I came in the store and explained he told me they don’t do that and then asked me was the check engine light on . That’s not your business or concern I asked u to put my car on your machine !!! But y’all don’t do that …. Ok. Your lazy!!!! Period point blank !! Standing up there leaning against the counter with your hand on your hip real sassy like . Do your job or go home

I’m a local, and deciding on which parts store to take my business to today. Due to all of the positive reviews I’m reading about the store manager Mr. Ortan Haywood, I will definitely be shopping at AutoZone in Giddings,Tx USA!!! It’s folks like this that make or break a business….Never met the man before, but whoever is his district or regional manager, Please give this gentleman a BONUS!!! Moral building goes a long ways. $$$

I purchased three things for my truck in Elgin, tx, I tried to do a refund in Giddings The guy who was there, cashier maybe a supervisor was really rude, no respect. Told me he couldn't help me and need to go back to Elgin to take them back. I'll stop going to AutoZone and continue to go to O'REILLY'S

Ortan was very helpful and friendly. I appreciated him putting on my new windshield wipers for me. Hope I get to use them soon!

I was so lucky to find this auto zone on 290 my car was giving me problems coming from austin they were a great help checked literally everything on my car did not let me leave til my issue was fixed i want to say thanks again to the young gentleman that tightened my battery cables

Ortan is the KINDEST human out there! Took time out of his work schedule to help us fix our AC on Memorial Day weekend. If you support any auto parts please bless this one. Pulled off the freeway into this Autozone because part of the undercarriage of my car had come loose and was flapping while driving. The staff was super friendly and helpful. An associate, Ortan, immediately grabbed his tools, crawled under the car, and tightened it back up. Very thankful for his help and prompt attention.

Was GREAT! Helped fix the problems and even installed the cable connection to the battery. Also had an issue with the dome light, he was able to get the bulbs out to avoid a fire. Always use Auto Zone

We had some trouble with our rental car. Although they could not help us with the car troubles, Ortan Haywood was unbelievably helpful with trying to contact our car rental service. It shows that they are just very friendly and helpful even though they knew they would not have any business from us. Thank you again Ortan for your incredible help and understanding. You made sure our vacation could continue on a good note.

The store is going out of business or something? The long lawn in front and around give the impression of and a really bad view of the town. Probably management needs to put a little bit more attention in the aspect of the store and what is the presentation that you offer to your customers. Thanks.

My daughter was traveling from Houston to Austin and had trouble with her battery. The men at AutoZone went above and beyond to get her back on the road safely and quickly. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

Glad they were open during the Texas snow storm of 2021. Needed 2 deep cell batteries for my RV and they had them. No one else was open. Just one guy working but I'm glad he braved the weather and got out. Friendly Service.

Buying stuff and ozone is like going to Walmart I enjoy going to outer zone because people there are very polite and always asking if you need something or they can help me with some things and they're very polite very clean social christians and they they need to use the restroom when you have to very clean restroom keep up the good job boys
