Their approach has been multi-faceted by maintaining a rigorous training program for all staff, as well as utilizing state-of-the-art equipment. The Bates staff undergoes specialized ongoing training provided by many of the top names in the collision repair industry, including: I-CAR®, ASE®, Akzo Nobel®, and Sikkens®.

Staff pretty friendly, but what really hurts this place is hidden fees. They give you a quote, and later the total cost comes out higher and higher. They are never out front and clean and don’t call when new things that require repairs are getting fixed.
Excellent customer service. Very thorough in their explanation. Daily communication was promised and delivered. Financial portions I owed was clear and up front. Car finished when promised. Detail I asked for after repairs was amazing!

From the start, the staff was friendly and professional, and they kept me updated throughout the whole repair process. The quality of the work was outstanding. They handled everything with my insurance which made it completely stress-free even the rental was waiting when I dropped off my vehicle. I really appreciate their attention to detail and customer care. I wouldn’t hesitate to come back or recommend them to anyone needing bodywork or paint repairs.

I had the BEST experience with Bates! Alexis took me in right away to help with my repair estimate, and made sure I was happy with everything when completed. She took extra time to walk through all the repairs and was so quick and easy to work with. Sonia at the front desk was so sweet and had all my paperwork ready to go. My repair was completed way ahead of schedule and the repair work was above my expectations. Thank you for such an easy and stress free experience! Natalie at Bates collision was a pleasure to deal with. Someone got a little to close to my front bumper in my F150 pickup and misaligned it you might say. Natalie had her technician shim it in less than 10 minutes and it looks great and didn’t charge me a dime. I’ve taken work here for years and these folks are the best. Great place with great aesthetics a d car was beautifully cleaned. People were very professional and kind. I was picked up and help very kindly into the vehicle with my post surgical knee and safety was ensured . I am very much satisfied with Bates collision shop and repairs.

Brought my 2019 F150 to Bates after getting T-boned and crushing my rear quarter panel. They did an excellent job in replacing my quarter panel, rear bumper, taillight, wheel and tire and had me back in my truck much quicker than I expected! Customer service was second to none as they handled everything to the point where I felt like I had missed something! Super easy process working with them and the repair quality was as good as new, would give 10 stars if google allowed and recommend anybody in SETX to bring any repairs to them for quality work and customer service.

After being in a wreck which involved being rear ended, this specific staff and crew made what was a bad situation into a great one getting my vehicle repaired. The service was excellent and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Truly a great experience to get my vehicle back on the road.

Very unprofessional, no communication with the management here. I sent my vehicle in for repairs and replacing parts. The first go around there were issues with the parts they replaced. Didn't match my tint to my windows. There were water stains all over my headliner from the water leak that their glass company created when replacing my windshield. After some time after getting my car back. We had some rainy days come in and leaked water all inside my front cab of my vehicle. The water damage to the headliner and the control panel to my AC was caused by the glass company Bates uses not properly installing the windshield. When I took the vehicle back to get fixed because of their horrible workmanship. I was told by their manager David, it was a wear and tare. So I got my vehicle back with nothing resolved. All I got was a new windshield because the previous new windshield they installed was broken when they took it off to see why it was leaking. Oh and a bunch of lies and false information was also a portion of what they gave me. They wouldn't call me and give me updates as often as I wanted them to. Maybe once ever 4 or 5 days they would call. Had my vehicle for a week until I had to call them and get updates. I also asked David to keep me updated so I wouldn't be without a vehicle and so I can call for a rental reservation. But again, David never called. I had to take matters into my own hands. Parts and even cheaper quality to their workmanship was only the surface of problems I dealt with this place. I really should've read the reviews before giving my vehicle to this place. I should've read the reviews before trusting the safety of my family's vehicle in the hands of this body shop. Word of advice. Don't take your vehicle here!
They kept me updated every step along the way. My truck was finished a week ahead of original estimate. Quality work and amazing customer service. My second time using Bates and would definitely recommend.
One of the worst bodyshops in Baytown horrible management & body shop. They are so unorganized and are big time liars/scammers and couldn’t fix my truck right. Yet they charged my insurance a whopping 12k saying they bought new parts but just fixed and installed the old parts. Till today my truck still isn’t fixed right. I kept hearing a rattle coming from the front of my truck so I got curious and jacked up the truck just to see missing bolts and brackets everything loose like wow this is what I get for going to them. I would not recommend this shop unless y’all want to have missing clips/bolts and rattling on your vehicle .let me not get started on them giving u a pick up date and you go pick it up just for them to tell you it’s not ready they did this to me 3 times and everytime i would go get it I would see horrible work on the truck overall a horrible experience and a waste of time
Team very customer service oriented. There wasn’t one person that I can in contact with, that didn’t smile and greet me. Now let’s talk about the work that was completed. Nothing short of beautiful. From the time I left my baby with them, to the time I picked her up, the team was In communication with me regarding updates. I have nothing but accolades for the entire process. My husband just picked up his truck after having repairs done from an accident and he paid $250 for a detail. He is highly dissatisfied as you can see from the photos the detail done was poor quality. Floor mats not cleaned, mirrors not cleaned, one of the headlights was not buffed out and others were not buffed fully, bumper was not cleaned, windows were not cleaned, soap residue spots left on truck, replaced outer skin on tailgate and left raised imperfections on the tailgate. I would not recommend this business.
I would definitely recommend Bates Auto Collision Team ANY day of the week for their professionalism and excellent customer service! I was greeted by Veronica at the reception desk and she was super cool and polite. Then Russell took me on a tour of the facility and to do the pre-inspection on my vehicle. He's very knowledgeable and took the time to explain the whole process to me and the timeline for completing the repairs to my vehicle.
The next day I got a call from Raegan. She is top notch! She communicated with me EVERYDAY, sometimes twice per day and kept me in the loop with my repairs. She's very meticulous and pays attention to detail! Being a United States Marine I'm all about the small details and order, she got it done! Raegan is proof that dynamite does come in small packages! When I came in to pickup my truck Raegan delivered it personally! It was detailed and ready to go. Not one scratch or water spot. To the entire Bates Auto Collision Team, a big thank you for making this not so good experience an awesome experience!!
