I was told that the tow would be 120 and 20 a day for storage. I went to pick it up same day as they are open 24 hours. The man that was there at the location said I need insurance and license to Pick the truck up, but my information was in the vehicle and they wouldn't let me get it. 3 days and $350 later I'm finally able to get my vehicle back. Well when I was dead in the water with a boat and trailer this place did the job and was reasonable.They loaded my 18ft Kenner boat on a 23 fr trailer with basically I wheel and drove it 73 miles for under 500 bucks. On a Saturday. They were very proffesuonal,professional, the driver was super cautious and safe. If you need a tow company that you can trust with good rates call Bay Area towing.

I cannot say enough good things about this establishment. Jose went above and beyond to help me with my car troubles showing nothing but professionalism. It is not ideal to have/need your car towed, however, everyone working at this amazing business was kind and so helpful. If I ever need a tow in the future I know I will be calling them. Highly recommend!

Very friendly and helpful.. Jose went out his way to help me out with my vehicle... I was stuck in the mud and called for a wrecker when Jose showed up he made me feel very comfortable especially because I was in panic mode. I was with my 3 children and it was late night.. my car was involved in an accident on 0613/20 at about 4:00 PM. I arrived to the scene at about 4:30 PM when Jose was loading the car. I told him I am the owner and would like his card so I could get my car. He refused to give it to me telling me to call my insurance. I explained that I don't have full coverage and he proceeded to tell me the car was "gone" it was totaled. I told him that doesn't matter I can't leave the car impounded. He then told me he gave it to the guy driving the car which is unprofessional! he had no idea who the guy driving was in relation to me! As the OWNER he should provide me with his card! He left and I had to call police station to get his info. After getting his number I called starting at 5:00 PM and called numerous times and left VM's. with no response back. I went by the impound which was 5-10 min from my house and no one was there. There was a sign stating vehicle release 24 hours a day. I called again and no response. The following day 06/14/20 I started calling at 8:00 AM and went up there again still no response. I asked another tow truck driver what I should do and was told to call him again and leave a VM stating that I was reporting him to TDLR. After doing so jose Called me back within 20 minutes. Called me back saying he would help me out but since I'm threating to report him that he wasn't going to. He told me he would go to the impound and only be there an hour. I had another wrecker call him because the car needed to be towed out and he gave him an hour notice that he would be there with me to get the car. Once arriving we called Jose again stating we were outside and he told us he was about to eat lunch. We waited another 30 minutes for him. In total I called Jose over 20 times. Had I not threatened to report him he would have held my car to increase the fees. He told me I should understand that some people have families. I told him that is not an excuse when I am trying to get my car back the same day it was towed in!

I just took a video of a wrecker from this place going home in Highlands on Easter Sunday. Truck was doing 55 miles an hour in a 35 mile an hour zone weaving in and out of traffic. I followed it into the neighborhood and took a picture of it sitting at it’s house. I will be turning this photograph and video into the police in the highlands to review. hopefully we can shut his ridiculous behavior And dangerous driving!
