Top-tier service! I took my car to Driver’s Edge to have a tire mounted on a custom wheel, and I couldn't be more impressed with the experience. As anyone with custom wheels knows, it’s always a bit nerve-wracking trusting a shop with them. However, the tire tech here was incredibly professional and handled my wheel with the kind of care and attention to detail you usually only see at high-end specialty shops. Not a single scratch or scuff—just perfect execution. It’s rare to find a team that genuinely respects a customer’s vehicle as if it were their own. This kind of quality workmanship has earned my trust, and I will definitely be coming back for any future work on my cars. Highly recommended if you want the job done right the first time!

Recently, moved to the area and I've utilized driver's edge before at a different location. However, they were very fast, very friendly, very cost effective.And they support small business.I would definitely recommend checking out this particular driver's edge in irving.

Went in for a state inspection. Was in and out in 30 minutes. Staff was friendly and professional. I will definitely use Driver’s Edge again in the future.

I’ve attempted to update my original review several times but google has not allowed me to so here’s the full review and timeline. -11/8/25 Quality of overall service is great and labor prices are reasonable. I recommend bringing your own parts to avoid a 450% mark up. - Update 1/31/26 After I picked the vehicle up the light came back on before I reached my next destination. I took it back again, not sure what they did but the light was off and they told me the problem was fixed. I drove to a drivetrain shop and had $1800 worth of work done, picked the vehicle up and the check engine light was on again due to a misfire (same issue Drivers Edge fixed). Took the vehicle back to find out the cylinder is cracked, it needs an engine for a minimum of $10k and the compression test I requested to be done up front was never completed (should have been done at the very least when I brought it back the second time). This would have at least saved me the $1,800. I get that we had to take steps but a critical one was missed and cost me a ton of money. To add insult to injury I was told the vehicle would be held hostage until I paid another $217 diagnosis. I’m now $3,400 into this project and need an engine due to a misdiagnosis. I could have forgiven ALL if they didn’t hit me for ANOTHER diagnosis and insist they have nothing wrong. I was told “the tech would not be paid if I was not charged”. Unfortunately your tech’s commission to perform an additional diagnosis to confirm I was right in asking for a compression test doesn’t sit well with me. I ran a shop for 14 years and headed our org development team so I know things happen and can go wrong, but the middle finger at the end was unnecessary and a reminder why the automotive industry has a black eye.

Super nice guys! Personable, let me know what was going on and weren’t pushy about what needed to be done. Went in for a quick oil change and they got me in right away. Really appreciate the info about future car repairs without being pushed to do it there. Would recommend!!

I had my power steering pump replaced a front alignment and more fluid put in. Everyone there was a very informative and didn’t recommend something that I didn’t really need. The answered a lot of my questions and I felt heard and I will be going there for all of my auto repairs from now on instead of Nissan dealer

Customer service was nice but being this was my first time (AND LAST) taking my vehicle here I will say almost every repair they did didn’t last more than a week and then they’ll charge you more to fix the SAME problem if it’s something they “missed the first time”. $250/hr labor rate is insane as the techs/management seems to be greedy and untrustworthy. Also first time I’ve heard of a “shop fee” but none of it would matter if they actually rmfocused on repairing the issue and not trying to squeeze every dime out of you.

Car battery died unexpectedly. Jumped it and Drivers Edge on MacArthur got us in quickly. They could have easily sold me a new battery but after running tests determined the battery and alternator were fine and the issue was corrosion. Service was prompt and my bill was very reasonable. Great job.

I arrived with a flashing check engine light and was initially quoted to replace all four ignition coils. The staff recommended replacing all four coils, and they went ahead and completed the work. They addressed my concerns and explained the pricing clearly, including the diagnostic fee, parts, and labor. After the repair, my car was safe and drivable, and the engine warning light was resolved. I appreciate their professionalism and the thorough service they provided. Prices : Direct Ignition 4 Coils : 518$ Labor charges: 205$ Diagnostic: 200$ Taxes : 100$ I hope prices are reasonable.

I brought my F-150 to Drive’s Edge with massive electrical failures, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the experience. Trent and Darious are hands down the best service agents—knowledgeable, honest, and truly caring about their customers. Drive’s Edge really is a one-stop shop. I’m incredibly grateful to have my truck back and running strong. Starting the new year with reliable transportation gives me confidence that I can do great things, especially when I have a mechanic shop I can truly trust. Way too long to just get an emission test. More than an hour. I get they want to make money by trying to sell you on maintenance stuff, but they should ask you first if you want them to check. Kind of upset they tried to sell me on a new battery when mine was brand new and I confirmed later it was fine. Definitely not going back

My car was brought to Drivers edge after a minor accident down the road. Tre and his team were able to line up a flawless repair for my bent wheel, as well as order a new strut from across the country whilst continually keeping me in the loop with any updates. I great appreciate their candor and no BS way of handling things and I will be returning for additional services in the future.

We've used Driver's Edge several times now. They are straight shooters. Every time dealing Trey, he has been articulate in his explanations and professional. Highly recommended!

I had a good experience with my Subaru here. It just needed a reprogram to connect the tire sensors back to the computer and it was only $30. It was quick and easy and they were nice and helpful.

Do not come here if you value your time and honest service. I called ahead to see how long the wait time would be for an oil change and was told that there was no wait. I showed up within five minutes. When I arrived, I informed the gentleman at the counter that I just called and was told there would not be oh wait. He said no problem and took my information and the keys. He asked me to wait in the waiting room separate separate from the front. After waiting an hour. After waiting an hour, I went out to see where they were at, and noticed my vehicle still parked in the same place. It was parked before. I asked him if it was done and he informed me that it would be the next car up. I had a meeting to attend and had to leave. I burned an hour for no reason because of their deceptive practices. The best part, they have a sign up from that says 0 wait oil changes.

Brought my car in twice and both times was a great experience. They explained all the parts of the review and went item by item with me and answered all of my questions. Definitely will be bringing my car back again!

I took my truck in for an alignment and the customer service was top notch! After my truck was completed they gave me a final walkthrough of the recommended services and showed me all the completed work that was done! I was blown away by the quality and knowledge that the staff from front to back provided 10/10!

Vehicle had alotta issues with it and repair costs got a bit too high but they work with you every step of the way and we were able to come to an agreement on what work was done. Trey and the folks up thete are very professional and while I live 2 hours from the location if I'm ever in need of mechanical work and are in the area there is noone else I'd go to. Yall were wonderful thank yall for all you do! Edit: welll scratch what I said.. so I was told that the vehicle was running and driving. Once we were able to make it back to the shop (about a week or 2 later) the battery was dead, no biggie so we attempted to jump start the truck, it would roll over good but wouldn't even try to start. We tried, the workers tried with a better jump pack, even with starter fluid it wouldn't even try. So we leave empty handed. So our next option was to tow the vehicle home but we need a tow truck to do so, after about a month of trying to save and it not being very fruitful I get a call from trey saying that we need to find a day to get something figured out to get it off the lot. So we get that day, and due to unforseen circumstances we cant make it. So I hear nothing from them for awhile and about another month goes by and I can finally get up there to get it hauled home and on the way I give them a call, it is at that point that I was notified that a few days prior without my knowing or consent they had my truck illegally towed off the lot and to a car impound. So not only did they LIE about my truck running, they then TOW my truck away without giving me a notice in advance that it was going to happen... I would not recommend this company to anyone. Do not take your vehicle here for any service done, they don't deserve your money. One good thing tho is trey has amazing customer service but other than that I wouldn't even spit in that places general direction

I was told I needed a complete headlight assembly for approximately $1200. This was because the receptacle or connector was broken and would not hold the bulb anymore. As a matter of fact, a technician told me he fit it into the socket but after a couple of bumps in the road, it’ll fall out. I paid $140 for a bulb and this misinformation. I promptly took my VW to the dealership. They told me the bulb was improperly installed and installed it correctly. Problem solved. Be careful with this place and get a second opinion.

Stopped by to get my vehicle inspected. Was done in about 20mins. Extremely professional. They also send you a report of things they suggest need to be replaced or serviced. We’re pushy at all and over to give me quotes for those items.

Hello, The experience was great. But i had a problem during my visit. There was a miscommunication between me and your staff. I was not okay with paying such a huge amount for the alternator repair and some other tiny services. The bill was about 1223$. So i asked them not to do repair of my car. When i went next day to pick my car he said the car is already fixed. I didn’t even gave any positive response to the guy. And i didn’t even signed it. But when i saw the invoice it was already signed something related to my name. I didn’t want to argue with the guy so i paid the money in cash. Im not okay with paying such amount for nothing. Important thing is I didn’t ask them to repair. Please respond to me asap if you guys care for your customer.

Excellent Service and Honest Staff! I recently visited Driver's Edge for an oil change and emissions testing, and I couldn't be happier with the service I received. From the moment I arrived, the staff was friendly, professional, and efficient. They explained everything clearly, didn’t try to upsell unnecessary services, and completed the work in a timely manner. The waiting area was clean and comfortable, and I appreciated how transparent they were with pricing. It’s hard to find a trustworthy auto shop these days, but Driver's Edge really earned my confidence. I’ll definitely be returning for future car maintenance and highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and honest service!

I spent 2500 dollars to get my car fixed and they forgot to put the oil screw back in. I’ll be taking it back for them to fix on Tuesday. The leak they tried to fix is still leaking.

I had an issue with my undercarriage shield falling off, and the team at Drivers Edge went above and beyond to help me out. They popped it back in place quickly and without hesitation, showing their commitment to excellent service. Special thanks to Teddy for his outstanding work.
