Never have I ever had a tow truck show up that fast. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ had an oil issue he got my car hooked up and outta the driveway then sprinkled pete moss over the oil that leaked. I asked if he knew a trust worthy shop got a phone number I couldn't be more pleased. Quick and painless thank you for all that you guys do.. mama is 84yrs old gets very anxious when things are complicated this was the exact opposite
This company is amazing. The customer service was top shelf. Aston (shop manager) very professional, courteous, friendly, she made me feel at ease and confident like my Jeep’s issues were a number one priority. My 2017 Jeep Patriot was rear ended at a stop light in downtown Seguin. The tailgate, rear bumper needed attention. Tailgate was replaced as well as step pad, chrome trim, badges (4x4, High Altitude) replaced, black under bumper facia, replaced. Jeep was washed in and out at time of pick up, even the tires were shiny. It looks factory new. The repair was done, finished in time, as promised. I couldn’t be more satisfied. USAA recommended them and am so glad USAA did. Fantastic results. Thank you Ashton and Gary.
Paul was sent to tow my 1969 Corvette which would not get out of gear. he was very careful but also quick. when the tires would not roll he used a very old school approach to carefully load the Vette by sliding the bed down and back and moving his truck rearward. he sprayed water and soap on the bed so the tires would slide on. basically busted his tail to make sure it was done right and didn’t damage my classic.i really appreciated it. he was very professional when i was a little testy when he showed up. he was professional and on time but i was still mad from my car stopping out of nowhere. big shout out to Paul and HCC. !!!!
Recently had body work done to my GMC 1500 AT4 at Hill Country Customs Collision. While the repair took longer than originally planned for, the work done was very good.
This is not the first time we have used this company and hands down 100% recommend. Goes above and beyond to accommodate. We had some last minute changes to the deliver address and it was no problem at all. Excellent communication and customer service. Send photos and overall went above and beyond.
2nd time using Hill Country Custom, Ashton handled my truck and kept me updated during the whole process while working with my insurance, quick turn around and not only did it come back in better shape, it was also clean!

Called and called for a week along with other members of my family. No answer. No returning of messages left (there were several). Nothing but crickets.
Second time I tried to use them because they are close by with the same result.
Needless to say I used Mission Towing. They actually answer the phone and show up. Never in a million years would I recommend them. Nice new trucks, but lack professionalism and poorly run
I am blown away with the service provided by Hill Country Collision and Ashton. She is amazing!! We pick up the truck here soon but with the level of service we have received so far I don't expect to run into any issues. Ashton is very thorough, answers any questions you may have, I feel she goes above and beyond. After dealing with the hassle from a wreck this is the kind of service you want to receive, she just made things easy. Thank you Ashton so much! You have no idea how much we appreciate you and the WHOLE team who worked on it! The person who towed our vehicle over there was great too!
Steven came out from AAA to tow my car because the previous provider said my alternator was bad, and my car was not able to be driven. Steven double checked and found it was my battery that was bad. Spent the time to show me how he knew. He also fixed a nut that I had gotten too tight on the cable, added a washer that I had lost while initially diagnosing, and fixed another broken bolt that was part of the battery tie down. Couldn’t recommend more
I’ve had to take my vehicles here more times than I’d like to admit over the years and they’ve always done a great job fixing them. Mike is easy to work with and although I hope I don’t have to come back, I’d definitely choose them again.
They had always did a wonderful job till now tried to save money to do some parts replace myself 1st quote 4000 dollars did extra work myself and was told 2 weeks ended up being 3 weeks told them my wife was going through major back surgery but they didn't care and still after all the work to make easier on still charged 4200 dollars parts that did not need to be replaced they will not let me return as far as warranty the will not fix the orange peel paint job they are not a company you want to deal with if your elderly Travis the owner doesn't care they over charge and put on parts you don't need ask for all your old parts or they meaning Travis will screw you for more money putting on parts you don't need when I questioned them now they don't want to deal with me
I had a flat tire and a time crunch. My toddler needed to be picked up ASAP and Paul showed up in 30ish minutes, got me to a tire shop, and gave me advice on how to proceed with my tire buying experience. He was so curteous and time efficient, I hope Paul is able to take care of you. Not to mention, he was very careful with getting my vehicle mounted on to the truck. Paul was extremely Rude and unprofessional, He refused to pickup my truck although I have Triple AAA and am covered, yet charged 206$ to make the tow and still charged my triple AAA all while making me pay out of pocket. This is a scam and they want to screw the consumer and still charge the Insurance and thats not right. Don't walk but run away from this shady company.
I have been a loyal customer for years and have consistently had positive experiences with this company due to the high quality of their work and customer service. However, my recent visit for front-end damage repair left me deeply disappointed. The repair took 13 days to complete, which I understood due to the need for insurance approval, parts ect. I arrived to pick up my truck, only to notice a small gouge on the new bumper down to the primer. When I brought this to the attention of Mike, the adjuster, he dismissed my concern, stating that "it's a front bumper; it will get rock chips anyway." I was shocked by this response and felt as though he was attempting to guilt-trip me into accepting the damage.
The owner intervened and assured me the issue would be resolved within two to three days. However, when I followed up after two days, I was told it would take an additional business day or two. After five business days, I finally returned to pick up the truck, the bumper looked great, it was not washed because it was cold which I get but getting in it was noticeably dirtier than I dropped it off on the driver's side. Furthermore, the truck wouldn't start, and I had to jump it.
When I spoke to the owner about the condition of the interior and my overall dissatisfaction, he became visibly upset, wiped down the dirt, and told me I shouldn't return. He explained that they handle 300 cars a month and that I was the only one who had complained, implying that I was expecting too much.
I am disappointed by this experience, especially given the excellent service I have received in the past. I was simply hoping for my truck to be returned without defects and in the same condition it was in when I dropped it off. Additionally, I found it unprofessional that my truck was left idling for two hours, resulting in low fuel when I picked it up. Unfortunately, this recent experience has left me questioning whether I will continue to use their services in the future.
DO NOT USE HILL COUNTRY CUSTOMS TOWING SERVICE – THEY DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING !!!
This tow service does not know what a tow hook on a car is. The service hooked its winch around the rear axle system of the car to be pulled instead of the rear bumper tow hook, creating over $4000+ worth of damage! This could have been easily avoided if the tow service knew what they were doing. Then they had the nerve not to take any responsibility!
“…rest assured we know what a tow hook is.” “We arrived and informed you there would be a possibility of damages due to the conventional tow hook spots being inaccessible.”
Apparently, your tow driver does not and did not know where the tow hook on the rear bumper is on this car – the tow hook on the car is on the rear bumper which was easily accessible. This is obvious in the first photo. These photos are also before the pull, they are photos of when it was stuck. Also, the original damage caused to the car was in the front end – not the rear – which is also obvious in in the first and last photo.
“I spoke with your collision center as well and sent them the hold harmless form you signed. We agree, this could have been avoided if you hadn’t driven off of your paved driveway onto a boulder. "
The front-end damage could have been avoided – but your driver caused the damage to the rear axle assembly WHICH NEVER TOUCHED THE BOULDER !!! Also, I too talked to collision center, and they pointed out that although the front was damage by the boulder, your tow driver caused the damage to the rear axle assembly, and that he should have definitely known about the tow hook on the rear bumper and have pulled the car off the boulder from that point – not from the rear axle assembly!
I admit I had a unique issue. Made an appointment for an estimate with Mike. I explained to him that this was an out of pocket repair. We were discussing the repair options, and then he says to me, here we make the decisions on the repair not the customer. At which I responded, I'm not telling you what to do I just trying to understand my options. He said he needed to go into the office and get something to measure with. Comes out 10 seconds later and says he talked to the manager and they are not going to do the work. I understand if they don't want to do the work it's their right, but No reason for the attitude. Would not recommend.
Noel towed my truck during rush hour while it was raining. He arrived quickly and had the truck loaded in no time. Professional friendly demeanor . He delivered it to the shop about an hour later which is quicker than I made it there! I would recommend to anyone in need
Hill Country Customs did an amazing job on my Ford Edge! I was driving up the hill on 337 at night when the truck in the left lane hit a deer who then caught air and landed straight down on my hood! They replaced my hood, most of my grill and headlights and a few things under the hood that was messed up from the impact and then painted! My front end looks brand new! They even found a Ford emblem for the front of the grill I lost a long time ago! Ashton was great to work with! This is my second time there and both experiences were very satisfactory. Wish I would have gotten our driver’s name. We were stranded with 2 flats on a Sunday night in San Marcos and USAA sent us a tow from Hill Country Customs. Efficient, professional and kind. We felt safe and well taken care of. Perfect experience. Highly recommend.
This place is a joke. They had my truck for months and gave it back to me with a blown control arm. I suggest doing a walk through after any repairs. I’m glad I caught the control arm issue before my 500 mile road trip. They couldn’t source the wheels and apparently my offset was rocket science to the guys in the back. Wish the repair work was as good as the customer service up front but unfortunately it wasn’t.
Wow!!! It is a pleasure to write a positive review for a well deserving small company, especially when customer service seems to be a scarce thing to find. Hill Country Customs staff were friendly, accommodating, respectful, and went above and beyond. They made my unfortunate collision experience very easy from start to finish. They did a fantastic job painting our car and even gave us a little extra for chip repairs. We noticed that they even covered a few of the chips for us as a courtesy and went well above and beyond to buff out some scratches we inadvertently etched onto our car side panel and windshield when trying to wash off a huge mud spot peppered with tiny rocks that was thrown up on our car by a passing truck. They really care and although I hope I don't have to visit them often, I would absolutely bring my car back to this shop in the future and will recommend to all. It feels great to support a small local business. Their shop is very quaint as well.

My vehicle broke down on the side of the toll road during the holidays due to receiving bad fuel from a gas station and Mario M. with Hill Country Custom saved the day. Not only did he take the call during the holidays, he got to my vehicle quickly. He called and texted me to let me know he was on the way and updated me as he was about to arrive. His service was fast, friendly and professional. He loaded up my vehicle with care and drove me safely about 30 minutes to my repair shop. Once at the repair shop, he somehow was able to safely maneuver my dead vehicle off of the trailer into a parking spot in a crowed parking lot with ease like he's done this a 1,000 + times. They towed our truck to the dealership because our truck was overheating. The gentleman who helped us was named Joe was very helpful, courteous and friendly. Most importantly Joe was very timely and quick to arrive & help us. He helped us transfer our trailer from our truck to our other truck. I would highly recommend this company.
Thanks to Hill Country Customs for working on my 1992 Camaro which i have owned now for 28 years. Many shops turned me down. Older cars are challenging to work on, but they did a great job. They replaced my power window motor and rear bumper. They also restriped my back deck wing properly. Paint matches perfectly. It looks Amazing.
