LISTEN TO THE REVIEWS. Called a tow truck at 9am to the Valero literally next door. After waiting 30 min we called back for an eta, they said “15 minutes away.” Another 30 minutes passed and we called back (10am) at this point) the sassy little dispatcher caught attitude when we complained that it’s been an entire hour and not 15 minutes, he kept pressuring for us to cancel and just go to the towing company next door instead. (So they can collect the non refundable fee) After this irritating phone call, we waited more and the ONLY reason I got a call back was because I locked my card. No service, no pay, sorry not sorry. After settling the pay, sassy pants finally called a tow truck after waiting an entire hour. This is a subcontractor, DO NOT GO HERE. The driver is literally the only reason I gave another star, and he was part of an entirely separate company. Should’ve called them instead… Driver Miguel was 10/10, wish I could’ve cut the middle man and went straight to him.

When they towed my AWD vehicle they didn’t put account for it being AWD & only hooked up the front 2 tires which destroyed the AWD system. They said I have no way to prove it was them, so I’m outta luck.
Called to schedule a tow for the next day. The guy was on time, although we had a bit of difficulty trying to get him in Ft Sam Houston. They didn't charge me for any wait time, although they maybe could have. Professional service, on time, and good price. Thanks!
The person that towed my car was named Miguel if I remember right, he was super helpful and even helped explain how I could fix what’s wrong with my car and I really appreciate it, it took a long time to pick it up but he was very friendly and easy to talk to

The towing company was fast and efficient and the driver was good service. I was able to get a ride as well to my drop off. Great company and prices are good. Clean drop off pic as well I'll post it in. For reference my car was hit and didnt want to start up.
Very responsive and helpful people here. I spoke to Isaac who was very professional and tried to help me as best as possible. Quote for the tow I needed was a little out of my price range due to it being a classic car, but no big deal. If these guys fell into my price range I would definitely have used them. Highly recommend giving them a shot.

Called this company and they said they would be there with the hour and they would have the driver call. 1.5 hours later no call from driver so I called them back and asked for an ETA and told them the driver never called. He said he would get hold of the driver and have him call. 20 minutes later still no call from driver so I called the back and reminded him he said service would be there with in an hour. Guess he got butt hurt because he said he would cancel the service after they had already charged my CC 135.00. This is the worst service I have ever seen. If I could give a negative star I would!! Do not use this company!!
I’m not sure who I was speaking too, but he was so rude, I told him I needed a quote and immediately cut me off and told me I needed to give him more details then that, so I gave him what he needed and he priced it at 180 dollars (for a 10 min drive) and then told me I needed to pay him and I told him I was just looking for a quote and I thanked him, he then hung up on me. I wouldn’t go here, now I know why they have a low rating.
Unfortunately, I encountered the unfortunate event of my motorcycle breaking down. However, I must commend this towing company for their exceptional service and expertise in transporting motorcycles. They demonstrated great caution and diligence in ensuring the safety of my delicate vehicle during shipment. Thanks to the driver's skillful handling, my motorcycle arrived at its destination without a scratch.
I recently had to have my automobile towed, which was not a pleasant experience. But let me tell you, this towing service was fantastic! Their service was excellent from the moment I contacted. The guy arrived on schedule and took excellent care of my vehicle throughout the process. They ensured that everything ran smoothly and safely. I cannot recommend these highly enough!
I regret calling this company. They have no sense of time. They don't know the difference between 1 hr and 5 hrs.
I called this company (towing San Antonio)
Also know as Shield towing. I told them I needed a tow. This was at at 10:30pm. They said "tow truck will be there in an hour". I said "ok"
I told them exactly what year, make, model of vehicle I have. They even asked me for pictures of my vehicle. I texted the pics to them.
Tow truck never arrived.
By 12 midnight I'm call them back, and no answer. I called the original number and the number i texed the pictures to. No answer.
I Can't even leave a message because voice-mail is full. Tryed multiple time. (At minimum 10 times) No one answered.
Keep in mind they already charged my credit card $300. I had to pay up front. That was a big mistake. Lesson learned.
They farmout the job to another company.
They send a tow truck that arrived at 1:30am that could not do the job. Flatbed tow truck could not handle the hight nor the weight of my vehicle.
That driver call their office and asked for a different tow truck.
He tell me 45 minutes.
So I wait. At 45 minutes I call them ask where the tow truck was at?
They tell me 35 minutes out. So again I wait.
Finally the driver calls me, tells me another 15 minutes.
Finally the tow truck arrives at 3:30am (5 hrs from original call)
He gets it loaded. By the time we get home to drop off my vehicle, it's 4:30am.
It took a total of 6 hrs.
These people are not honest. The lie and take advantage of you, And you can't do anything about it because they will charge you a cancelation fee. $169.00 cancelation fee.
Don't hire this company. They lie, and are deciving.
Definitely use someone else. I'm going to file a complaint with ground transportation, where they get thier permits from. Not sure if this company is just a broker, but companies that operate like this should not be in buisness.
Don't waste your money or time with these clowns.
Its Not worth it
You want to Prove it, you all told someone else the same thing. Do you really expect me to use you after that horrible experience we had? Are you for real? I don't think I would use you if you were the only towing company in existence. I would figure it out on my own. You'll just need to accept that you'll are a bad company, over charging, Don't answer the phone, can't tell time, lie, deceiving, no good company. Prove it, huh. You can't prove it.
You didn't even send me a receipt, and the company you sent said I'd can get it from you. Where is my receipt?
This has got to be the worst tow company in history. Their motto is "lie, cheat, harass and steal" from customers. The dude on dispatch will lie to you, and tell you a driver is "nearby", without giving an ETA. Then after 30 minutes you call to check, and the driver is supposedly another "20 minutes" away. Then after that you keep calling to check as no driver shows up. Then 2 hours later, when you finally get another company to actually come out, their driver shows up with attitude. We tell him forget it, then his rude dispatch keeps calling and threatening you. Threatening that they are going to charge you $90 anyway because they came out and they take your credit card information when you first call to book them. He tells you hes got all these recordings and notes on file and that you "won't win the dispute with the credit card company and you'll lose more money from fees", but "he'll work with you and give a discount", if you still want to use them. And the dude hung up on me multiple times because he couldn't get his way. We will challenge them. They like to make people wait forever and then harass and bully them into still using their extremely overpriced and rip off service, or they will steal your $90 for not even showing up, without an ETA, knowing that its a hassle to fight. Worst company ever and they shouldn't even be in business. Will be reporting them to the BBB. They will not get away with their tactics. DO NOT RECOMMEND EVER.
Do not get services (or lack of) from this company. They requested our cc up front to reserve the service, gave an estimated time of 30-45 mins. After that, they won’t answer your calls. They wait well past the ETA and we already got my vehicle to nearest auto shop so we called to cancel and they refuse to answer. We understand there is a fee of 89 for the service call but we are currently trying to get a refund for the $75 hook up charge since never used their service. Awful!
When my car had a flat tire in the middle of nowhere, I called this towing company for assistance. They arrived promptly and provided excellent roadside service. The technician not only changed my tire but also checked the other tires for safety. Their efficiency and expertise were impressive.
After the first call waited for almost thirty minutes, only to receive a second call ironing out details I had already given. I then waited another 30 mins. The only saving grace to this day was the absolute legend you sent to give me a tow. He brought my car back home, parked it right where I wanted, and then spent his time giving me different tips and tricks about my vehicle for future use. I wish I got his name but he was from Texas Roadside Services.
Avoid them. Called when we had a dead battery. They said it would be 45 minutes and the driver would call when on the way. After an hour no call. Luckily someone with a jump box was passing by and helped us out. Driver finally called 2 hours after our initial call. Said he was delayed giving a ride home. Was still charged even though the driver never even came out. Find a tow service with better customer service.
I called these people today at 5:19pm CST and was told a tow truck would be at my location about 45 minutes but with traffic also since it was rush hour, no tow truck in sight. I called again at 6:41pm CST and was told 15-25 minutes more because the tow guy had a delayed job, still no tow truck in sight. I called again at 7:57pm CST and was told that the tow truck driver is stranded and there's a code for the truck and he can't make it out. He also told me they have nobody else available to come out. I told the guy I've been sitting out here with my kids waiting for over 3 hours and I want my money back. I thought tow companies don't charge your card until the car is on the flatbed but with these guys they charged my card. I told the guy I want my money back so he did put it back on the card. They charged me $145. Now as I write this review I'm worried they'll retaliate because they already took my card information. I gave these guys 1 star because it's very unprofessional to not let their stranded customers know what's going on.
Awesome sauce! They told me 2 hour wait time. I got a call in about 30 mins they were with my car. I left as fast as I could to meet them. 10 mins into my drive they called me again said to meet at the drop off location. I met them and they were both super nice didn’t catch their names but my car was parked and the driver was kind to put my key in the center console for me. They did the job and it was done. Thanks so much!
I needed a battery jump late on a Saturday night. Their dispatcher got me squared away over the phone in just a couple of minutes, and they got to my car within about 15 minutes. Quick, friendly, and fairly – priced. Highly recommended!
Got there fast and got everything done super quick and was way cheaper than what I thought it would’ve been and car was professionally strapped down and taken to my house and dropped off with ease, definitely will use them more in the future
I called this morning spoke with Isaac. He was very understanding and helpful. No hidden fees. Easy to get ahold of. The Tow truck guy that went to pick up my car was very nice. Had to wait a bit more than the actual time given but it was well worth the wait. I even received a courtesy call before the tow truck arrived. Highly recommend.
After my insurance company made me wait 1 hour and ended up sending a battery jump start, then telling me it’d be another 2 hours before a tow truck arrived, I had enough and called Shield Towing. They had a truck out to me in a bit less than the time estimated and kept in contact while en route to me. Excellent customer service from the dispatcher and the driver. 10/10 hope I never need a tow truck again, but if I did, they are the first one I’d call!
