What clients say about Habitat for Humanity ReStore in Franklin (TN)

More like Retail Store, not Restore. People donate to Restore and it appears like this one is trying to make a killing off of donations. 1,200- 2,500 for couches, hundreds of dollars for dressers or book shelves. Crazy! Just because you are in Franklin doesn't mean you need to charge a fortune.

Avoid. Most used items are priced at new retail or more. Staff not flexible to come off marked price.

Wonderful selection of furniture and James and Joe Moore were very helpful with loading and packing. Incredible organization!

Enjoyed the variety of items. Found a great buy and staff was helpful in bringing it out to my car. Thank you!

Pretty big parking lot. Customer service was good. They have a variety of items. I didn't find what I was looking for but they do have that end of the month sale. Might swing by then see if they have anything new.

They don't really want donations- they turn away anything that isn't high-end. If you want to spend your gas lugging materials to a store where a stuck-up employee will pick through your the stuff you set aside, spent gas and time protecting, loading and transporting instead of throwing away so that usable items didn't have to be wasted, only to be sneered at and told which pieces are good enough for their store, then this is the place for you. Otherwise, don't waste you efforts, time, and gas.

Most people we came across not the friendliest but the nice lady at the register sent a man to help and price something for us and was very friendly to us for our visit to buy cabinet and even after we drove 1 1/2 hours home and another 1 1/2 hours back she was still there and as friendly as the first time, the rest could take a page out of this sweet young ladies book.

Nice people but their prices are almost as high as retail stores. You really have to search for a bargin.

Always find something amazing at the Franklin Habitat for Humanity Restore! Today we bought the matching sofa and loveseat for a college apartment. Great condition; no stains or rips! Loved the wicker entertainment cabinet, but it was too small for us... won’t last long. They have Porter Paints, ceramic tile, new windows and doors, all kinds of lighting, and even new furniture donated from Costco and local furniture stores!

People are nice enough but unless you want to donate something worth a ton of money don’t bother bringing your items here. Also everything is three times what you should be paying for second hand stuff. I brought a nice Delta stainless steel kitchen sink and 12 house flush mount lights and was told they didn’t want them.

Really high prices, but I always enjoy talking to the people that work there and you never know what you'll find.

The young lady that works here is AMAZING. I have went here a few times within these past couple of weeks and she goes out of her way to help customers, compared to the other employees that work there. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

New and used items for your home. Everything from household items, toilets, sinks, maintenance, tables, chairs, birthday cards, etc. Plus, the money spent goes toward a great charity.

The “assistant manager” has the worst customer service I have ever seen and also rolls her eyes when talking to you. I simply asked to buy a set of bed rails but she insisted that every set they had went with the beds but couldn’t tell me which set went to which bed.

This place is awesome. They're always getting really cool things. You can find some great deals, especially on sale days. The manager is too short for my taste though and he doesn't smile enough either. He also can't count very high.

A few times a year I love to visit and look through this store. You never know what your going to find, but the visit is always worth it.

I was looking to buy a new dining room table and a patio set for my home. I found a nice patio set for $400. However, I only needed two of the four chairs. The manager was a short little guy with poor customer service skills. He refused to break up the set, and never smiled once. I was willing to pay $350.00. He said "No" and walked off. I also noticed other couples looking at dining room tables, chairs, etc. He nor anyone else greeted them or acknowledged their presence. They all walked out empty handed. I won't be back, and won't donate anything to this organization.

I am very disappointed this is not a non profit organization you have to be perfect to get any housing help they want kids to live in a mold field house not enough space with a mom of three kids going to school and working full time to get funding for school a proper place to live I dont make enough for there standards but I match the chart they sent I have less then prefect credit and they still say no let the kids suffer that what they do to families who apply and try to get a place for hard working mom single mom with three kids they are only out for money they don't look out for the well being of families

Although we always want to support local charities, I'm afraid we'll be patroning other organizations from now on. The head staff presented little to no customer service or care and made it extremely difficult to work with them as we had with previous management. Unfortunately, we will not be donating (as we've done many times in the past to this establishment) nor buying from here in the future.
