Had emergency lights all over our lease car come on asking for immediate service. Had to wait for several hours in service department turned out to need an oil change.
I asked the Nissan guy for a specific model car at a specific price. He hooked us up for a test drive, but didn't know the price. I told him to look that up at the office while we were driving. We return and I'm trapped for 20 minutes to wait for the manager to get a price. Apparently, only managers get to see the price list. Eventually, he shows up and the car is 40% over the budget I explicitly set.
We walked out. Worst old-school "let me get the manager", "the price is a secret", "bait and switch" and "trap the customer" of the whole day car shopping.
Definitely a bad experience for us.
I was visiting Hyundai. They were offering a deal if you test drove any car you received a $40 gift card. I went in and met the salesman Jack. He was very nice at first. Told him I wanted to drive the 2020 Sonata. He wrote my number down on a Post-It note got my info. I told him I was there for the deal they were offering but I was also genuinely interested in how the car performed. I told him I wasn't looking to buy either and his mood went from happy to "don't talk to me." I still test drove the car but during the drive, Jack was quiet never really said anything about the car unless I asked. When I did ask it seemed like he didn't know much about the car. I asked him questions I already knew the answer to just to see how well he knew his product. We finish the drive. We say bye. I go back to look at the car and I see the Post-It note with my number crumbled up in the passenger seat.
There are plenty of Auto dealers in this area. You are able to see Nissan Cool springs dealer, Hyundai and Infiniti dealers. I may miss some other/more dealers. My apology if I am not mentioning about all the dealers.
