Everyone was very professional and friendly, excellent customer service! They thoroughly explained the diagnosis of what was going on with my car and were able to get it fixed in a timely manner.
I have been taking my vehicles to Christians Brothers Automotive in Hendersonville for a few years now. The service people are super nice, and the waiting area is clean and comfortable. As well my vehicles have been either maintained or repaired to my satisfaction. My only concern is the cost for services. The costs for services at Christian Brothers have always been higher than other auto repair places I have been to. And I have realize that prices for practically everything have increased exorbitantly and exponentially recently. However, and much to my sorrow, I will likely not be coming back to CBA for future auto maintenance or repairs. I can no longer afford the higher costs for services that I can possibly find elsewhere and for hundreds less. Sad, but it is what it is.
There’s no better place in Hendersonville, Tennessee, to take my car. The service is outstanding, and the customer care is top-notch. The facility is spotless, and they treat you with the utmost respect while valuing your time.
I've been going here for nearly 10 years. They're a little pricey, but the service was always good until now.
I recently got an appointment when my truck shut off randomly after a rainstorm, but by then the part dried out and there was nothing to diagnose. I was told to come back as soon as it happened again so they could get it scanned and have some idea what's wrong with the truck.
I went back today when it occurred again, but the service manager refused to even scan the computer. I know this shop is busy, but I was told (with the understanding that the truck would dry out before an appointment can be scheduled) that I should bring the truck in without shutting it off so no codes could clear.
Unfortunately the service writer has a firm "can't do" attitude.
Stay away, they've clearly got more business than they can handle and have let customer service slip.

The service writer refused to scan the codes the second time I brought it in. I know it had codes because I scanned them myself, but the writer refused to get out of his chair.
I came in to get my breaks replaced bc my car sensor was notifying me the breaks only had 17% life left and with the snow and ice I didn't want to risk it. They could've replaced the breaks and I would've paid not thinking twice. Instead they called to let me know that the breaks were checked and they have 80% and 100% life left. It is most likely a sensor issue which would be covered by the dealership. They made no money off of me yesterday, but bc of their honesty I will be back the next time I have an issue or repair. Thank you
I was able to schedule everything online. I was able to drop my car off after hours and it was fixed by 3pm the next day. They where also very good with keeping me updated and presented my options and their prices up front. I am very happy with their service.
Great service and professional .They were able to identify my misfire issue with my Thunderbird and repaired it the same day at a reasonable price.Christian brothers kept me informed at every turn of the repair process
I have been taking my cars to Christian Brothers for servicing and repairs for quite some time now. They have ALWAYS been fair and honest. Their charges are compatible with other repair/service centers around. More than the charges is the fact that they can be trusted with your car. One of the very early factors that made me feel comfortable with going there was that on my first visit, I saw a Service Tech that I knew and trusted from a Car Dealership for several years. Danny has always been trustworthy.
Over the past year, i brought my Ram 1500 in four times for issues that resulted in coolant leaks, and each time I think the work performed was necessary and done well. Too bad we had to stretch out the investigations and repairs over a year, which probably ended up costing me more time and money, but I'm confident that with a new radiator, water pump, and thermostat, my coolant leaks are now behind me. Always enjoy my staff interactions—professional, courteous, friendly and informative. Mechanics are first-class; you won't find better anyplace.
In the future, if any friends need auto maintenance work done I can assure you I will refer them here. The staff was nice, helpful and transparent. The shop was in great condition, and the quality of work and timing was outstanding! They even have an app which allows you to read/view the notes from the mechanic working on your vehicle as well as any pictures of the issues they found. I have attached screenshots of the notes in the app as I found this EXTREMELY HELPFUL and transparent. If you need auto work done --> BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE!!
Got some work done here that I couldn't do myself. The staff is helpful and takes the time to explain repairs needed and what truly needs to be done rather than just trying to upsell. There are not a lot of reliable, competent, and honest businesses out there nowadays that are still affordable. Especially in the automotive space.

The Christian Brothers in Hendersonville did all they could to examine my vehicle and give it the best diagnosis Plus they examine things that the vehicle was not even sent in there for. I would recommend them to anyone.
I flew into Nashville to purchase a car and found Christian Brothers offered a pre-purchase inspection. They worked me into their schedule and provided me a report of their findings. This gave me the peace of mind to buy a car and make the long trip back home to Texas.
Christian Brothers is always attentive to customers’ needs and treats me well time and time again. They inform on their recommendations without being pushy. It’s why I always take my cars there for service. I trust them to have my best interest in mind, not their profitability.
An elderly family member was driving alone on Nashville Pike when her car started running bad. She was unable to reach any local family by phone immediately. She called Christian Brothers. 2 of them came immediately. They unsuccessfully attempted to drive her car. They took her home, towed her car, repaired it and returned it to her within a couple of days. This is beyond expectations and a huge relief to our family!
Took my truck in for service today. I could not be happier with the quality of service, the time they had it for repair and they are oh so kind. Felt the price I paid was very reasonable. I’ve found my new mechanic for sure! Thank you all for helping me out today!
I came in with a "Service Engine Soon" light on my dash and paid for a diagnostic fee (almost $300) and was offered a free vehicle inspection report, which I accepted. The next day, I was told the battery needed to be replaced ($520) and also a vacuum reservoir tank ($360) before the rest of the codes can be addressed. They do not wave the diagnostic cost like other dealers so I declined the work (almost $1200) before addressing the other codes. The following day when I arrived to pick up the vehicle, I got a print out of all the codes that literally Autozone does for FREE. When I asked where some of the issues were, they told me "under the hood"...No one explained the codes to me, if you decline the work, they send you packing fast apparently. Also, I did not receive the free inspection report either. That's a business that does not care about you. And it gets worse. I get back in my car with 5 lights now on the dash with a warning message and reduced power steering! I told all my friends to steer clear of this place.
Don’t recommend!!! Inspection fee is a joke. Estimates are based off of assumptions. Didn’t even remove a wheel but was able to give me a $4800 estimate to replace front end parts on a 2018 Ford F150 with 65k miles. Wouldn’t take a vehicle there for an oil change much less anything else. I don’t ever leave reviews but this one was needed.
I had an issue with my vehicle starting that another shop could not find nor fix.
The issue came back and I was able to have Christian Brothers look at my vehicle an hour after I called. Not only did they find the issue, they were able to have it fixed and back to me 2 hours after I dropped it off.
This was my first time coming here for an oil change. They were very fast and detailed. In and out under 45 minutes, I had an appointment with them. Everyone I spoke with was very knowledgeable and nice.
We continue to take all of our vehicles here over the dealership because they do a great job, communicate, and listen. Danny and the rest of the CB team were respectful and did the work that they said they would at a price that I felt was reasonable. I recommend them to everyone because the owners are also good stewards of Sumner County.
I will be recommending CBC to my friends. They were able to look at my car the same day when it broke down, and talked me through the options for the fix that evening. CBC did not try to overcharge me or sell me things I didn't need. I was able to research the options they suggested and chose the best option for me. They gave me plenty of time to ask questions and answered them without being condescending (the bare minimum but some mechanics don't do that)! They were incredibly kind and friendly, and kept me in touch with the original person I spoke with which I appreciated since he'd been working with me throughout the ordeal. I ultimately decided to fix the issue myself, but I will definitely be coming back for oil changes and the like!
Christian Brothers are very dependable and knowledgeable people who are very informative about what’s going on with my vehicle. I’ve only been there twice now, and both times they’ve shared a detailed written explanation and video evidence of what’s going on with my jeep. When no one else could locate my issue, they did. As long as they can get the parts, the work is completed within a day and correctly. Allowing me to move on with my life and not miss a beat getting to and from work. They are hands down the best automotive shop I’ve been to, and have gained a life-long customer!
It was so easy to book an appointment online and I was able to get a next day appointment. I had to drop my car off outside of their business hours and they had a easy system for that. And then as soon as they looked at my car they gave me a call and a text. The followed up with a quote that was very specific and easy to follow with pricing for each item. Danny was a great service rep.
Recently needed some work done due to my emergency brake light, stabilitrack, and ABS sensors going off. Also a routine oil change and I cannot say enough about the service. Was in the shop a day and so far so good. Drives better than before. They are reasonably priced and definitely reliable. We have used them in the past and will continue to use them for any of their services offered. Highly recommend
Finding a mechanic that is trustworthy can be challenging. These folks were professional from the time I scheduled my drop off until the time I picked up my vehicle. The cost was fair and the work resolved my problem with the engine. I will definitely use them again.
