The views are amazing! The bears are horrific pests! The neighbors have video of bear walking down the street at night literally checking every car’s door to see if it’s open. One of our housemates accidentally left the car unlocked at daytime with no food inside. A bear entered and then another bear accidentally closed the door and trapped the first one inside. That bear then proceeded to tear out the ENTIRE inside of the car until a passerby opened the door and let it run out. The car is totaled 600 miles from home. The houses are very cool and unique and a fun place to stay but they are built inside a national park!? And tourists to this area feed the bears and attract them to area rentals?! Be guided accordingly when thinking to visit, especially with young kids who aren’t able to go outside. There are great views in other places where the bears are not quite so aggressive in their foraging.

We stayed at 1441. It was our first in a cabin. We all loved it. Each of the rooms were perfect. All the things we needed was there. The hot tub only had one jet that worked though. So we just took turns moving around. We seen 7 bears total. Didn't bring no harm to any of us. I absolutely loved the swing by the fire pit. Arcade games and pool table was a plus. Pool was just 2 miles down the Road. Would love to rent again in the future.

Great views! The bed mattress needs to be replaced, it hurt our backs so bad we left 3 days early, also the carpet smells like urine so bad it should be removed. I stepped in a big wet spot below the stairs and after smelling it realized it was a fresh animal soaked urine! The cabins so beautiful I hate that prior guests ruined it with their animals peeing all over. New mattress and replacement of carpet will be great! The smell is unbearable.

My husband and I visited Tennessee and loved everything about it. The cabin was great! It was a drive up the mountain but once we arrived we learned the back way down to town. The cabin had a grill and a HOT TUB on the patio. Inside was washer/dryer. We used all these appliances. I got in the Hot Tub Daily!

Had a ton of fun on our week long stay. The cabin was great for all 8 of us. Would be five stars but the kitchen was really lacking in utensils, and it could have been a bit cleaner when we got there. Other that it was a amazing.

This condo is in the perfect location!! It was super clean and we'll maintained. The decor made us feel like we were at home from the moment we got there! The pool and hot tub were nice as well. Can't wait to come back!

We had the best time of our lives in this cabin. It captured it all. My husband and I eloped here and it was the perfect cabin for our family of 5. The bears payed us a visit almost every morning. Super cool experience and the property manager was very sweet. Make sure to keep your doors locked and hot tub covered. The only thing I could complain about was the dirty floors when we arrived. Seemed like it could have been cleaned better. But having to sweep multiple times while being there I could how it’s easy to track stuff in. We had all the stuff to cook with. My kids were so sad to leave and we would definitely book again.

We stayed at 847 Bears with Us and absolutely loved it!! The cabin was clean and fully stocked with everything we needed. We enjoyed the pool table abd hot tub! We did have a bear come up on the deck a few times which gave us all something to talk about. I would definitely recommend this cabin and we plan on coming back and staying longer! It is close to town so we were able to go explore and didn't have a long ride back. It was everything and more.

Picture Perfect is just what the name implies! It is a very nice home with wonderful amenities. The location is perfect and convenient to all the attractions. We had a really nice snow while we were there, however we were able to get up the driveway and the roads were in good shape. We did not get to see the bears that apparently live close. The beds are extremely comfortable and the kitchen has everything that you need! I highly recommend this property for your group of 10.

Everything was Amazing. We stayed at 723 Mountain Majesty and it exceeded our expectations. Kathy was so awesome in making sure everything was taken care of with our last minute reservations. We can’t wait to stay with Chalet Village again. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND staying with them if you plan to visit The Great Smoky Mountains.

The customer service at chalet villages is awesome. During our short stay, we had a minor issue with the hot tub. The maintenance guy arrived within 30 min of my phone call and the issue was resolved. The cabin we rented was beautiful, and clean. I wouldn't hesitate to book another rental with this company in the future. It is obvious they care about their customers.

My family and I return to Gatlinburg with Chalet Village properties every year, and the cabins are always clean, spacious, well-stocked, and well-maintained with the office staff polite and responsive to any potential maintenance concerns. The location on Ski Mountain gives us the best of both worlds with privacy from neighbors high above downtown, yet close enough to restaurants, stores, and the national park. And the three community pools are great to unwind in when people come back hot and tired and need some down time. We appreciate Chalet Village’s high standards, as we’ve stayed with other area rental companies in the past that were not nearly as nice. Thank you for another great vacation, Chalet Village!

The cabin is located in a beautiful setting with an incredible view of the mountains. All of the amenities were great and the cabin was very clean and tidy when we arrived. Lots of wildlife to see, we saw bears every day. Can't wait to go again! If you are thinking of going to Gatlinburg check out the cabins. It is a much better experience than staying in a hotel.

The cabin was absolutely breathtaking and very home like. The views were amazing and the hot tub was perfect. We were only at the cabin for five minutes before a mama bear and three cubs and greeted us in the driveway. A bit scary but it was the perfect start to a perfect weekend getaway. We will absolutely be back to this cabin

Wow! That was an amazing vacation. The pictures don’t express all the awesomeness of the house. We are definitely going to spend time here again. Interior and exterior are stylish. Thanks big time for turning on the hot tub prior our arrival. We had a blast.

It's really a good vacation good place to live Peace Quiet even when it rains

We stayed in 1059 Points of View. This cabin was just redone and decorated! It was beautiful. Perfect parking. Huge hot tub! Had a great family getaway. Never been disappointed with Chalet Village

A piece of heaven in the mountains. Great cabin clean, furnished well. Wonderful view and if your lucky you'll get to see some bears, we did.

We would definitely stay here again! Amazing views, clean, spacious, well-stocked. Very steep driveway and roads to get there, but not a problem in good weather. Private hot tub and just a restful, relaxing setting.

We loved our spectacular views of our Chalet. The 3 tier set up and decor was beautiful and comfortable. The chalet was clean except the side windows had several spider webs. I can understand the difficulty in cleaning them on the side of the mountain. The master suite bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed the views at night in our hot tub. The water in the hot tub was very high and all the jets didn't work, but it still was enjoyable. The driveway to the out chalet is very steep and we would not let out teenagers take the car. We played tennis, swam and played ping pong at the rec center. We had an awesome time hiking Laural and Grotto Falls. We had a wonderful vacation and loved our chalet.

Stayed in 716 "Twilight". The view was awesome! The Chalet was clean and well maintained and the hot tub was a great addition. Had a great time here relaxing after long days of hiking! Only one issue, the driveway was quite steep and since we had a van, a bit tricky to go up and down. Not enough to take away a star though as overall it was an excellent stay!

It is hard to say enough good about our experience with renting with Chalet Village. We arrive late (1:00 a.m.) so they provide codes over the phone to enter the house painlessly when we arrive. The kitchen is incredibly equipped with everything you could imagine. The beds are fabulous. The seating in the main living room provides comfortable gathering for all. Parking for our house is huge and flat and easy - not common in most houses in Gatlinburg. And they provide soap, dish washing soap, paper towels, as well as replacement bath towels and wash cloths if you want. Great experience.

This was our first time with Chalet Village. We stayed at Black Bear Ridge and it was beautiful. Very rustic looking on the inside but had everything we needed and more. We loved sitting outside in the hot tub watching it snow. The cabin is very secluded but only 3 miles from town. Excellent views of the mountains! Comfy bed! Wonderful cabin! Thank you for sharing with us! I am already planning our next getaway weekend and will request your cabin again!

This is the second time we have stayed with Chalet Village. The first cabin was ok. This time, 909 Sweet Surrender was amazing! We loved every bit of our cabin, especially that it was pet friendly. It is a very nice cabin and everything was well taken care of. the views from the cabin were great too! We really enjoyed our stay and will be back again :)

My family stayed at #756 (LeConte's Misty Glow) and had a WONDERFUL time! The cabin has spectacular views of the mountains and is well-maintained. The great room was perfect to keep us close but allowed plenty of space for an extended family. Kitchen was very nice- could have had more in the way of cooking stuff but was adequate. The unexpected crock pot came in handy for chili! Two full baths and two half baths were very nice. Everyone loved playing pool downstairs. There are lots of chairs on the decks to view the gorgeous foliage. Cabin was clean, felt very private (even with neighbors on both sides, you could not see them), was nicely kept and very comfortable. My only comment on the beds is that the king mattress downstairs needs to be replaced- not so comfortable! My only other complaint is that the firewood provided was not dry enough to burn much- very disappointing! Please get seasoned wood.
