Gentleman running the register is very rude, and very UNFRIENDLY. Others in the store were nice and friendly such a shame one person can make the 2 hour trip to shop there not worthy of our time and travel.
The attitude of this owner is Really something to be a businessman I don’t know how he makes it. I see so many people walking out of their mad as hell.
Rude lady at the desk, will never go back,end of season only 2 flower pot left that I was looking at ask if they would discount on both together very rude lady said read the sign, it was a small sheet of paper in the corner of the window a couple feet from the door and looked like a 3 year old had written it in black sharpie. Went to lowes and got a much better deal
Very Poor and Rude people that work at this location in sweetwater. Crooked people that work there ,Need new management and education in customer service for the Rude woman behind the counter wich was the old manager guys wife.. would rather spend my time and money in a better business than this junkyard.You lost this Sale and trust me , I will tell everybody I know to not waste there time or money there.
Walked in and saw a mini arcade cabinet with a great price. Sign says don’t play unless you are a serious buyer. I was very interested. Instant I touched it guy screamed at my fiancé and my self. Very rude and you have lost a sale. Good job, I won’t be returning.
Excellent people and employees! Some things are excellent deals and then there are some that ain't. Bought a scratch and dent washing machine and I am extremely pleased with it. They even tested it out to show it worked properly.
First and last time I will shop 68 salvage ?. I plainly ask about something I purchased if I need to see if it worked while I was in the stores a rude man said we check all items before putting them on the shelf..needless to say they checked to make sure it had parts but not if it worked ? All sales finally!!! They wouldn’t even exchange it for another one!! Very Rude people at front desk…
We purchased a freezer. The people were very rude. They double charged me. The freezer doesn’t work correctly. It frosts up in the bottom and doesn’t get cold enough in the top. I won’t purchase another item from there. BE WARE if you are looking to buy an appliance.
The business is selling salvage merchandise not wholesale merchandise. The business states this I n writing on the check out counter. This business is a wholesale business. The people working behind the desk compared the business the same as a Home Depot that sales retail. I believe this is wrong and misleading to customers. The merchants shopping at this business are purchasing surplus and salvaged products no warranties or returns. My Home Depot stands behind there products and grantees. This business practice of misleading merchants and should be reported to better business officials.
Minus 1000 stars. Awful is putting it mildly. I recently bought flooring there. I read the sign it said "33 sq ft. a box. I was then given a card and told to pay for it and then pick it up in the back . After paying and picking it up in the back, I noticed there was only 13 sq ft in each box. When I brought it the the manager attention he was down right rude and basically told me I was screwed. He gave me the card back and the 33 sq ft was scribbled out. As this was going on a man was yelling at them for selling him a tool box with a big hole in it. Bate and switch. Stay away. I am reporting them to Home depot where they get this stuff. Hopefully they will not do business with them anymore.
They have just about anything tat you need except for wall panels that I was looking for in the first place, but ended up purchasing (2)
6-tier metal shelves for my building!!! They have some good prices and some prices that's alittle higher on tools that you can buy brand new at other stores that carry them. The only thing is that once you buy anything from there; you can't return it. So, if anything doesn't work, it comes out of your pocket to get it fixed!
We bought a beautiful vanity and the price was great. It was raining and the staff tarped and plastic wrapped it so we could get it home. We will be back.
These people are rude. I did not see the return sign. Went in on a Friday spent almost 200 bucks. Bought a weedeater they tested it for about 20 seconds. Tried to use it the next day and the battery would get hot. Took it back to see on Sunday about exchanging it and they would not let me. They were very unprofessional and I wouldn't recommend anyone doing business with these people. Dont act like your doing the community a favor with your shady business. I would MUCH RATHER spent full price for a product that works instead of getting ripped off!!!

The thing that sticks out the most is the owner or who runs the place is borderline rude. The 2 times I have been in there he has talked about other people very openly and it made people feel uncomfortable and leery.
Also the store has a no return policy however when an important part of the item is missing it maybe should be marked as such. Poor little ole lady was lost for words. But he did fix it, but making people feel bad in process, isnt cool. All in all I will go back but only if there is something I really need no leisure shopping for me..
Very nice people. Lots of nice stuff reasonably priced and have layaway. Can't wait to go back they have soo much stuff go check them out allow plenty of time to shop
Well, my wife found a vanity for a little less, so for the drive I didn't see the value. I asked about a $25 charger for a ryobi trim gun I have and a battery, that they had in stock, and he said yes we have them, and curtly pointed to the sign that stated, if you spend more than $1000 you can ask for 10% off. The batteries were priced the same. I bought 2 batteries and a charger, 13 left on Amazon, for $40. Having worked in retail and salvage retail I understand everybody is looking for a deal. I also understand everyone is in business to make money.
I wouldn't have minded getting them at 10% off, but the lack of availability of the product wasn't an issue and the over pricing, coupled with the better than thou attitude and take or leave it, leaves me to tell other not to waste their time, and i see a lot of people which i will gladly tell. It's frustrating seeing the comments from people who bring things back and get mad. The store has a strict no refund or exchange policy and it's on signs everywhere. Products are tested and checked in front of the customer before they purchase the item and leave. After it leaves the store, the purchaser is responsible. The store doesn't know who's lying about what they may have done to the product after it leaves the store. To often, people take a product home, switch part's or damage it due to carelessness, then expect the store to take responsibility. Trusting people is not the store's job. They offer quality merchandise at a 30 to 50 percent discount. Rules are made because of those who take advantage and lie. The owner is not rude but spends his time trying to help the community and is often faced with customers who feel entitled to not follow the rules when entering. Be responsible and appreciate what the store has to offer you and the community, or feel free to shop elsewhere and pay full price! The owner and staff tolerate way more than they should have to! Be responsible adults when shopping and you won't have a problem!!
Horribly rude and they sell junk for high prices I bought a ceiling fan and the first one didn't come with any hardware took it back and were extremely hateful about it...then when they finally gave me another one got it home and the fan motor doesn't work at all wasted time money and gas.
This is a great place to pick up about anything at a great price. The store is constantly growing and changing. With it being salvage there is always new stuff to look at and find. There is always a deal to find and if they don't have what your looking for check back the next week it is always changing. It is locally owned and operated so support your community and save money doing it.
It's no longer Hall's Salvage. It's 68 Wholesale & it's an amazing store with the best prices I've ever seen. Always something new, a little bit of everything for everyone!
Big selection, not on par with salvage pricing though. Was threatened cops called on me for checking a raggid box of staples. Signs are posted not to open boxes but didnt see them and wasn't informed til after threatened with the law. I proceeded to apologize but the worker proceeded to teach me about laws and how opening boxes is considered stealing and he should call the law on me. PLEASE DO NOT OPEN BOXES THEY PAYED ALOT OF MONEY FOR THEM SIGNS. If you happen to miss that well I guess your considered a thief.
Halls, 68 Salvage, Trader J's, whatever you call it! It's a good place, lots of cheap items, though you never know what you may find so if you see something you want, get it then before it's gone. Bought a bathroom vanity there, had a few things that needed fixed but the guy working there told me exactly how to fix it. Great price for it too! And really awesome quality. He and 2 other employees helped me load it into my truck too. It is hot in the back through, especially in the summer. Wish they were open throughout the week or had longer hours.
