Don was the best honest person in that town. Went above and beyond attended driver and very good mechanic work ethic. and durning process of repair was very polite and welcoming . Fixed our semi and had us on our way . I’m saving his location as my to go shop in Tennessee .

Our truck broke down due to differential gear issues…Before bringing truck in from truck stop down the street I called and Mr Don was not only knowledgeable about my issue he helped me with what to do to limp it into shop to save me money from towing not effecting the problem more. After realizing we needed a new differential Mr Don tried everything in his power on getting it at a great price took us to a hotel and checked on us daily to make sure we were comfortable due to it being during the holidays and we had to wait on part. We got to know Mr Don and he ended up being one of the sweetest and most honest mechanics we have met thus far and we have met many! (Also send an employee to take us to Walmart one of the days) He went out of his way to take care of us and we are greatly appreciative of him and his work. After part finally arrived he had us gone in less then 2hrs! If you are ever in he Knoxville or Chattanooga TN area and you can make it to Sweetwater TN I 100% recommend you driving to him there because he will make sure you are good and fix your problems at an affordable price! 10 STARS FOR THIS SHOP HANDS DOWN!

Nothing but good experience with this shop. It was heavy rains when our 53 dry van got rejected twice from nearby shippers due to a minor leak from the roof. Found these guys on the web, called them , they said send the truck in. Got our trailer fixed nice and clean and we were able to pick up the load from the second place we got rejected. We were in and out in less than 2hrs considering it was waterfalls outside. Pretty reasonable cost for the job. Thanks fellas.

Don bent over backwards to help me get my tires replaced and back on the road. Kept me company in a place where I wasn't familiar with anything. Very responsive. Waited with me while the tow truck came.

Don and his crew were wonderful. I was on the road and my motorhome was overheating severely. They we're very thorough and discovered a hole in a hose. They repaired the problem and I got home safely. I will be forever grateful.

We were traveling from out of state when our vehicle broke down on the weekend. Don helped us in every way possible and offered to take us places while waiting for our alternator to come in. I highly recommend him. Thank you so much!

Well by phone i got this: this shop loves only americans. When i call them, the first thing they ask where i’m from. They tried telling me that it is because of credit card blah blah. But for sure they are kinda racist

We sent our truck in for a coolant leak repair, and the mechanic there informed us that the EGR cooler was leaking. Based on that diagnosis, we had the truck towed back to our own shop. However, after inspection, our mechanic discovered it was simply a bad coolant hose—there was nothing wrong with the EGR cooler. We called Don to inform him of the incorrect diagnosis. He admitted that his mechanic may have been wrong but stated there’s nothing he can do about it now—and that we should just be happy it wasn’t the EGR cooler after all. This response is highly unprofessional. A misdiagnosis like this led to unnecessary towing and downtime, which could have been avoided with proper inspection. Accepting accountability should come with more than just a shrug.

Blew a tire on a dangerous stretch of I-75 and was stranded. Called Don and he was there within an hour and had us on our way in no time. Gave me a great deal and was a great guy. Would recommend Don to everyone.

We are a mobile food unit trying to get back home to Alabama. BANG ! Blow out on the interstate , 2nd blow out a few miles later. Mind you another tire shop initially came by sold us a tire without any assistance left us on I-75 to only find that the wheel did not fit. Fortunately we had called both shops in the chaos of it all and Mr. B showed up and took care of us, made sure to get us safely off the interstate and to his shop, trusted us enough to borrow 2 tires temporarily over night until he had the tires we needed to get us back on the road the following morning. Heroes don’t always wear capes. Thanx Don and the crew !!

5 ⭐s is Not an exaggeration. Although I'll say maybe a 4.9 Star rating is more accurate. On the other hand when it's close to 100° in the Gondolier parking lot and somebody comes out on Saturday to diagnose and repair a broken down traveler, they probably ought to get a lot more than 10 Stars. In fact, any day of the week a lot of mechanics say I won't do anything on a motorhome. Don and his crew did. I had Googled on Friday night to find an emergency service and there were several listed. Having confidence in any one listening was my quandary. On Saturday when I called some of the area service providers, like the local RV dealer, I was told that their mechanics called in sick on that hot Saturday. On Saturday I went over to the Ace - Co-op and inquired at the service desk. No service for across the street was available nor did they have any local referrals. Service desk did give me a referral several miles away. When I call that number no service was available. It was the weekend. A lady at the co-op who was waiting for service to be completed told me about a nearby service, I-75 Truck and Tire Repair. She recommended him highly and I'm very glad I called him. Were they quick? They worked very hard to be as quick as possible. It was Saturday. It was hot. And they were very busy. Were they personable? They were very kind, personal, and professional. The mechanic, who had to sit in the parking lot in the heat and wait on parts was very kind and smiley. Were they good? They were very good. They're very quickly and accurately diagnosed the root problem. They quickly tackled the problem with their diagnostic equipment and almost immediately knew what the problem was. They tried repeatedly to get me back on the road without major delays. That did not work so they made a special trip to get the parts, to do the repairs, and to get me back on the road. The only reason I suggest anything less than a full 10 Stars is that they did not arrive with a service truck that had everything they needed. Consequently they had to make more trips back and forth to do what they had to do. Also I got a sense that they were receiving several emergency calls on that hot weekend and they were trying to juggle everything and keep everybody happy. In the end, I was very happy that I called I-75 Truck & Tire and received such great service. Was the pricing high? It was not cheap. But it was Saturday. It was a hot Saturday. They made more than one trip. They were very professional, even down to the final invoice. And they were very very busy. After the service was done the owner, Don, took time to visit personally and give me encouragement for our trip. 5 ⭐???✨

Don and his team are awesome! My daughter was driving her day old used car when the heat shield came lose. Don and his team fixed it quickly. Thank you so much for helping my girl out on the road.

Don is truly a blessing. For my family and me, he really saved the day. With three children and three dogs in the car, we had been driving for about sixteen hours. I then looked up his number on Google and he arrived in two minutes. We were able to roll off to his shop quite quickly. He spoke with my husband for a long time and was so kind and helpful. He offered us matching back tires, taking the tire from his own truck. When it came to paying, as I mentioned earlier, we were on a rather tight budget, so this threw us off guard. We used up all of our money, and when our parents didn't respond, he said it was alright.and let us go , with no problem. He really saved our day today and really appreciated it

We blew a tire on our motorhome and called Don. We told him what mile marker we were at and that we were in a dangerous spot barely off the shoulder of I75. He said he had two tires that would work and would call us right back with a price. He didn’t call. He didn’t answer the phone after that conversation. We left multiple messages and finally after sitting stranded for over five hours we were able to get someone else to come out with two new tires and got us back on the road. So then Don started texting both my husband and I showing us the tires he had and giving one excuse after another as to why he didn’t answer the phone and why he didn’t come to where we were stranded at. I would not recommend Don to anyone as he apparently doesn’t care about customers.

If I would be able to give 100 ⭐ I would. Don is amazing. We had blown tire which had to be replaced. He not only gave me the best service out there considering after hours and all that, but one of the best time and support ever encountered in my life... The moral of the story: He's got my total respect ??

Don and his guys are amazing. My son's truck broke down on a cross country move. Don spent over 2 hours working with us to diagnose and solve our transmission issue. Don offered several different options and in the end it was fixed and we were able to complete the drive. Don called to check on us as made our way back to North Carolina. He is a great example of a quality, stand-up guy who has integrity and character. He was our angel in our time of distress. God Bless you Don!

If I could give 10 stars I would. We were in our RV, it started shaking while driving, we pulled off on first exit and stopped in to see if they could help us in any way. They checked all drive shaft, ujoints, tie rods, you name it. Found out it was tire belts that were bad. He happened to have 2 tires there that belonged to someone else..bc it was 5pm on a Saturday night, he put them on our RV and even checked our spare. He was so kind and so helpful. Could have just said no, we are closed and left us hanging.worked very hard for us!!!

Don and his crew are awesome! Knowledgeable, friendly, and fair. I had an issue with the back axle of my semi truck... Or so I thought. Within an hour they were able to assess that I just had the wrong size tire on one setting. They got me out in record timing and provided a few laughs along the way! Highly recommended!

Great shop! Was traveling through town and our RV AC belt broke and we were stranded. In a rush to find a good mechanic and these guys were above amazing! They worked all day to find the parts we needed to get us back on the road. It’s hard to find a good honest mechanic and this is one of them! 10/10 would recommend

My son and I were on our way to Florida from Kentucky. Our car started over heating as soon as we got into TN. We stopped and got some coolant. We noticed it was leaking. I called my husband and he found Don on-line and called him. He told us to come right over. He could not find a coolant leak, and spent 2 hours trying to figure out what was wrong. He figured out it was the transmission fluid. He was so thorough, and VERY reasonable. He is also HILARIOUS and such a nice man. He showed my son how to continue to check the fluid on our trip And even took our phone number so he could check on us later. I HIGHLY recommend Don and his crew. I wish I lived closer so I could bring all my car repairs to him. Thank you Don. It was such a stressful situation and we left feeling so much better!!

After having a flat tire on the way to the beach in Florida, Don and his team went above and beyond to save the day. We had our 1 year old and dog starting to lose it after a 5 hours in the car. He first offered to find a replacement used tire and even was helping us call new tire replacement companies. Ultimately Don was able to patch the tire which was a godsend. I was absolutely astounded by the service we received and felt that we were treated not like strangers but long standing customers or even family. Don called the next morning to make sure we made it to the hotel safely which was about 4 hours way from his location. We spent the rest of trip to the beach singing Don and his team’s praises.

Don is a life saver! We broke down while traveling on I-75 in our RV. it was 9:30 pm. Good Sam Roadside Assistance gave us Don's number and he arrived within minutes of our calling him. He immediately set us at ease. The repair could not be done on site (coolant system failure), so with his help we got the RV to his shop where he worked on it immediately the next day. He was very busy but still prioritized our repair. He was extremely knowledgeable and completed our repair in excellent fashion, in spite of incorrect information provided by the RV manufacturer! Not only did he fix our main problem, but he took care of some small items as well. He is competent, experienced and professional, and he has an entertaining personality to boot. I highly recommend Don and his crew.

I am not from the area, I have a 1993 peterbilt which one of my injection lines broke while I was in this state for work. I didn't know the area well and just looked for a service place through google maps and fell across this spot. When I brought my truck here the professionalism and service was amazing. The owner Don was beyond helpful and nice, it felt like I was being treated like family even though it was my first time coming here. Also compared to other places I've been that "pretend" to know what their doing and charge you an arm and a leg he charged a very reasonable price for very amazing work. I would highly recommend this spot and if I am ever in the area again I would go there again.

I can’t thank Don and his team enough. At 8:30 p.m. on a hot July evening in 2020 I blew a tire on interstate 75 that went through my side-wall. I was able to exit and quickly saw a side road and happened upon Mr. Don Benavides’ shop. He and his mechanics were still working and without hesitation helped me and my kids get back on the road within 30 minutes. I had 3 hours to go before I would make it home and Don’s team went into their storehouse and found a suitable tire to get me home without having to use the dummy spare (rated at 50 mph). Let me be clear. They not only found me a tire, they put it on my 2018 Pilot and had me back on the road in 30 minutes; and did it all at no charge. Why? Because he could. My kids and I will talk about this for years to come and thank Don and his team for being there for the family. I know they specialize in truck repairs but his mechanics said they’ll fix just about anything. This night, they specialized in grace and kindness and we can’t thank them enough. If you’re reading this - pass it on that kindness, caring, compassion, doesn’t always come from your wallet, it comes from these small random acts of kindness.
