After living in Memphis for so long I would have never thought I'd use the word "pleasant" when it came to a towing company. But lemme tell ya, the folks at Ellis Towing & Recovery have been the most kind and patient when it came to retrieving items from my totaled vehicle. As far as wrapping a car around a tree with only liability coverage goes - there have been many unpleasant moments. But working with the Ellis employees to recoup items has truly been a pleasant experience!
The staff here was nothing short of professional and on point with customer service. They were willing to go above and beyond to take care of my vehicle while it was out of my hands and everything was just as it was left.
If I ever need a tow under greater circumstances in the future, I know who I'd trust with my vehicles going forward. Thank you guys for all you do!

Imagine yourself in a head-on collision where you don’t realize that you’ve lost an hour of your life, knocked out completely. You wake up thinking that it just happened and that you’ve been alert and awake the whole time. Later you found out you had a concussion and your memory was gone. Ellis Towing took my car that was completely totaled to their yard and Maureen stayed with me the entire time I was there to help me get my things. Maureen who (I think) overseas the office and execution of the movement of vehicles was incredible. In fact, I called her just today to tell her how much she impacted my life. Maureen (sp) truly makes that place. I’m sure there are a lot of people that work there that are just as great as her, but she happened to be the only one I interacted with. She nurtured me during a time of my life that was new for me, and scary. I’ve never had the experience with that….with those processes, executing the removal of items, releasing the car to insurance, etc. She walked me through the whole thing, even after I went home. Because of my short term memory, she was very gracious to take things out of my vehicle for me that I forgot. Those relationships and small town feel are what make people come back over and over. I hope to never have to use them again for a crash, obviously, but I’ll use them every time I need to move a vehicle and I can’t do it, and God forbid, if there’s another crash.
They are hands-down the absolute best experience I’ve had….. and it just so happened to be during the worst moments of my life.

Kenny and his crew really came through for me!! Called same day… had truck moved to new location across the county. He and his crew had it moved within a few hours. I will definitely be using again!!!!
