Whaleys came to our rescue last night. We were stranded at Rural King at Marion at suppertime. Within a hour and a half they arrived...we were picked up and delivered safely to our home and our truck was delivered to our local mechanic. We talked, visited and made a new friend through this ride home. Our mechanic had recommended Whaleys and we are very pleased with their service! Thanks Vic!
My tire blew and I called whaleys towing to come and change the tire. They came quickly and without any problems Tony changed my tire. He also allowed my nephew to learn how to operate his truck and also showed him how to change the tire. Tony has been the best service I’ve ever received since I’ve lived in Memphis!
David Whaley is a life saver yall!!! Not only did this man come and help us get our truck out of a ditch after one tow company along with several large trucks failed to even budget my truck.
David came as fast as he could, was EXTREMELY polite, helpful, respectful, and he came ready to help us in a time of Need. We cant say enough good things about Whaleys and will absolutely be using them and recommending them for all of our and our friends and families towing needs. We are so so greatful for Mr. Whaleys professionalism and attitude.
We have had the worst 24 hours due to this issue and another tow truck driver that came from a different company and not only did he damage my vehicle he also assaulted 2 of the people who were with us because he was so mad he couldnt get the truck out and wasted his time and we had to file police reports so that led to a very long night. My truck got stuck around 3 am and Whaleys was able to come get it out around noon. He was able to help turn what was a horrific expirence into one we could finish out and have a good day
I had a flat tire. AAA sent Whaley's towing service. The owner's son came to my rescue. He treated me with the same respect he would for his mom or an old aunt. He was very professional and very kind. I would recommend this company to anyone in need of a tow.
I was frantic today when my car suddenly wouldn't start after a full morning of grocery shopping. After being evaluated by roadside assistance, it was determined that my car needed to be towed! I regret that I didn't catch the name of the super nice gentleman that assisted me in checking my car and getting me towed to the nearest service station in Oakland Tennessee. His professional service along with his super friendly demeanor wiped all my worries away. Kudos to your company and helping me today. God bless you all!
BAD BAD BAD Bad company, this company closes contracts with housing units to take the cars for no reason.
They put up a sticker warning that the vehicle must be moved, but 5 minutes later they are already taking it away and they say that the sticker has been on for days.
Which is a lie since there are videos where you can see how they stick the sticker and in five minutes they come and lift the car. It's an easy way for them to make money by making dirty contracts with the owners of the apartments and units like trailers.
In the photo you can clearly see that one tow truck already has two cars and the next tow truck is about to take away two more cars. This was last Thursday.
Taking people’s cars without a proper 24 hr notice is insane adding to that threading and attacking the residents jr and justin bad bad bad bad bad service not even 1 star
David got me and my rental back on the road after a flat. He towed me to a safe place first. I had a flat on the front, and he swapped the rear tire and put the spare on the back, because I had a ways to go, and this gave me better control, something I definitely would not have thought of in the moment. He had a cooler with iced water ready too, which was thoughtful here in the south during July.
Prompt - service was great! They called to inform me of their ETA, and was accurate. Courteous and I would recommend Whaleys to anyone looking for a Tow.
I had a great experience with this company. It was booked through AAA and I got my complementary 5 miles of towing and the remaining fee was only $60 for an additional 10 miles which is very reasonable.
They were great at communication, extremely prompt in contacting me once the request had been submitted. All payment information was done securely, and an identity. Check was performed to ensure I own the vehicle and was using a valid credit.
I want to give a very good recommendation to Roderick who helped me out with the tow. He was incredibly professional, friendly, and treated my car with great care. When you’re in a situation that you need to tell it’s great to have a friendly face that does a great job to help you. He even laughed at my jokes. :)

The driver was friendly and explained everything clearly, which really helped ease the stress of the situation. Not only were they the fastest, they were detailed with picture descriptions after dropping off the vehicle per request. They are fast and efficient. Huey, the driver, was a Godsend. I was very stressed about my car. His friendliness and professionalism put me at ease. This was the best experience I have ever had with a tow company and driver.
The process was far too cumbersome. Money was collected prior to verification which is extremely deceptive. After which they want to enforce “said rules”while detaining you and the car unnecessarily. There were no said rules when payment was requested.
Huey arrived to pick up my car. I just want to say that he is a valuable asset for your company but you probably already know that. So courteous and welcoming and that means a ton when you’re in shock and stressing from the mishap.

Amazing customer service. Very friendly and was out in a timely manner! I highly recommend using them for any towing needs you might have. Very reasonably priced. My truck broke down last night in a not well lit 2 lane road. When I told David where I was he came out himself since he had no one else available close by. Rick was amazing! He was very friendly, hospitable, professional, and knowledgeable. He made the crisis of being on side the road less upsetting. He communicated effectively to where you knew your vehicle was handled with proper care. He has a God given gift! He is the perfect person to encounter when needing a tow truck. His personality really helps soothe your mind during car troubles. I will recommend this company to everyone I know.
We’ve used them for years when a company vehicle requires a tow. One of our plumbers sunk and I mean really sunk an excavator today. Sean did an excellent job and got us out of a sticky situation. I’d highly recommend Whaleys and Sean!
A little expensive especially the storage extra days fee but I understand you're able to do that. Customer care service great. The location is great, your car will be well kept. Carly is very helpful.

Do NOT use Whaleys. They damaged my car and refused to take responsibility, but more importantly, they left me stranded because they wouldn’t help jump start my car once I realized my car wouldn’t start. I ended up having to sleep in my car all night in a bad part of town before I could contact a different towing company to help me. No words can describe how sleezy and disgusting this company is — I’m still requesting a refund that they have yet to grant - my next step is contacting the BBB and consumer protection agencies — or else I’m taking them to small claims court. I couldn’t believe what they did to me.

I was charged 300 plus dollars for a tow that never came or even bothered to show. Had to call Mid-South Towing to get the job done (for half the price of Whaleys towing) the next day. Don’t want my money back, just wish to warn other trusting individuals who might also fall victim to this unscrupulous “businesses” and it’s managers. Beware.
