The people at Wrench Turner in Clover, SC , are the best at what they do. I have had all kind of vehicles from my Bentley to my Chevy Silverado , there to be worked on and they did an outstanding job. They do a diagnostic test to find out the problem then let you know how much it is going to cost in writing, and I’ve never paid any amount over the cost they tell me. There work is done by real professionals , and the staff in the office are friendly and very helpful. I would recommend them to anyone who has any type of mechanical issues with their auto.
Had my fuel pump changed there and pcv valve because my checking light came. They replaced the parts but not with the right fit for my car and not OEM parts. I had to take it to the Classic Ford and lincoln and they had to replace everything they did. They said my fuel pump wasn't the right one or size. When I got it back from wrench turner I couldn't fill my tank up but 3/4 of a tank. I called them and asked for my paper work so I could take it with me they told me that they deleted my file they have no record. Good thing they report to carfax. So I got my information with the repairs from there.
I can't brag about this place enough, Mike is very knowledgeable on way more than just mechanical stuff, Fair prices, Super friendly Staff, Good vibes, Great work and the Owners are great people. Oh, and you can get a haircut while you wait!

No surprises or hidden fees. Changed the oil and the timing belt in our Honda Pilot and had it back to us in 2 days. I would definitely recommend them and would use them again.
We recently moved to the area and I was looking for an honest auto repair shop that I could have work done when needed. I had a great shop at my old home and needed/wanted to find something similiar here. Wrench Turner is the place. I have a 2011 Avalanche that had an oil leak. I didn't know where it was coming from, likely the oil pan gaskent or rear main seal. Valve covers etc. up top all looked good. I took it to Wrench turners and asked they fix the leak. I told them I didn't know what was leaking but gave them my suspicions. They quoted a price to do the oil pan and the rear main but I asked that after they look, only fix what was needed and if any else appeared to be a problem to let me know. I didn't want to pay for both or a lot of extra if they were not needed. I left my truck with them for a day and it was only the oil pan gasket. Other shops I have been to would have taken the opportunity to milk me for the rear seal since I had approved it already, or something different, but not Wrench Turners. They did what was needed and said everything else looked good. I am very happy and I beleive I have found a local shop I can depend on. Thank you!

These folks are honest and do great work. I went in for a brake job and they could have told me that I needed both front and rear brakes instead they reported only the front needed done now and we could wait on the rear. The cost was competitive with other shops in the area and about 15% less than the dealership. I will be back whenever I need any more work done on my car.

A very honest shop. I first asked to have my car checked for a bad coil pack. After checking the cylinder is bad. No charge to me for this. They then replaced the radiator in my truck for a great price. These folks have changed my opinion about suto repair places. I had a bad dealing with another local repair place, put a bad taste in my mouth about repair shops. But, I have had nothing but honesty and great service from Wrench. They will get all my work.

I can say without a doubt this is the best garage I've dealt with in 30 years. Will is honest and a highly skilled master mechanic. Their prices are fair and their work is top notch. I'm also very grateful for the fact that they're very honest with me. There are a lot of garages out there that'll just charge you to hang parts whether you really need them or not. I have a lot of high mileage vehicles that I plan to keep on the road with the help of Wrench Turner!
Customer for life!!! My A/C fan went out and was repaired within a couple days all under warranty so there was no charge! Wrench Turner communicates superbly and is always customer oriented. It’s evident they take the utmost pride in what they do!
My wife and I have lived in Clover for 25 years. In that time, we have dealt with two well established shops in town. The first one for 20 years but the quality of service seamed to fall off, so we switched to another long-time shop in town. We were satisfied with them at first but this spring we started having a problem with my wife’s car, so we took it in. They said they fixed it but a few days later the engine light came on again. The code was pointing to the fuel air mixture being too lean. We took it back to the shop and they swapped out a few parts and said try it only for it to fail again. This went on for more than 6 weeks until one day I went to pick up the car and they told me “We’ve done everything we know how to do but we can’t find the problem. If it happens again take it to the dealership but don’t bring it back here.” To their credit they removed most of the parts they had tried and put the old ones back on. They did charge me for 2 O2 sensors saying that had made it run better. We drove the car for a few weeks, but it was no better. It would sputter and turn off at idle. Instead of taking it to the dealership we took it to Wrench Turners. They found the problem within hours and had it fixed the next day. She has driven the car for more than a month with no problems. So, the point to my story is don’t go the well-established shops in town they’re just parts changers. Take to the new guys in town, Wrench Turners. They’ll get it right.
I stopped by Wrench Turner Automotive to have a new splash guard put back on, fully expecting (and willing) to pay for the labor. To my surprise, they told me, “Don’t worry about it, it’s our good deed for the day.” That small act of kindness really showed me what kind of business this is—honest, family-owned, and no gimmicks. I’ll absolutely be coming back for any future car needs. Highly recommend!
Got a quote for repair for my AC in my 2011 Ford Explorer. The price was dead on, lower than other prices in the area. Got it repaired quickly. Then my power steering went out, which had been failing inconsistently for years. Got a quote and it was repaired when parts came in. During that time frame while waiting for the parts to come in for my power steering my alternator locked up due to rust and corrosion from driving it to NY in the snow for 8 years. They got thay part in and repaired it at the same time as my power steering and got my vehicle running great with freeing cold air. Great communication through a text service they provide. Will was one of the contacts that reached out and kept me well informed through the process. Ive dealt with a few mechanics in the area. Yhis is the best experience I've had. Not knocking anyone else, this was just the best for me personally, including the price!
5 STARS, We have been regular customers now for well over a year. It’s so hard to find a mechanic you can trust! These guys are very trustworthy and we are happy to be customers and support their business. We have a big family and a lot of cars. They always go over the cars and mention things that should be done either now or in the near future. No pressure to do it all at once, which is awesome.
We also like their text messaging system for approvals before any work is done. It will also send reminders a few months later for those things we put off until later. Which helps us properly maintain our vehicles.
Great all around, they are all very friendly, knowledgeable and great to deal with. They just make everything so easy and pressure free. They truly stand behind their work and we are so glad we have found a trustworthy shop to deal with! Their pricing is very reasonable too.

Fast and reliable service, super friendly. Looked over my wife’s jeep after the dealership gave an extensive list of items needing repair. Come to find out it wasn’t all needed they were just up charging to make more. Happy wrench turners took a look and we got what was really needed fixed, fixed!!
My 2005 Ford Ranger drives superbly now. It needed extensive front end work and the crew at Wrench Turner took excellent care of me and my truck. They sent me individualized estimates of each job with the option of selecting what I wanted done. The invoice was broken down; the problem, parts, labor, disposal fees, everything. It was simple to selected what I wanted done with the tap of a finger. I didn’t have to wait on a phone call. It was all handled discreetly through text and email. My truck has real meaning to me. It was my Dad’s before he passed in 2016. He was a Vietnam Veteran. Served in the US Army. Awarded the army Commendation Metal for Heroism in the Republic of Vietnam on 5/20/1968 for date of action on December 22, 1967 for heroism in connection with military operations against a hostile force. He was a rifleman on the heliborne combat assault mission. He was John Lee Harris, Specialist Four E4, USA, Trp B, 3rd Sqdn, 17th Air Cav. With the help of Wrench Turner’s, Im hoping to restore in fashion that honors my Dads memory and legacy.
